   I came to Asador for their Mothers Day brunch and our waiter (Olivares bracelet) was amazing, the food was amazing, and one of the managers Zack took extra amazing care of us. Thank you for making Mother’s Day so memorable for my mother.

   Great food and great experience in an unlikely spot. Made the resys not realizing it was in the Renaissance Hotel lobby. Was there on a Saturday morning before Mother’s Day and nothing but a standard hotel guest rush was present. Food was excellent. Try the guacamole. Servers wonderfully nice but could have been a little more attentive. Will hope to go back.

   I didn't realize the restaurant was in a hotel (The Renaissance). Environment was busier than I prefer because the restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel. Good for meeting for business lunch or dinner. Service was very good. The server's recommendations matched what was served. Crab cakes were meaty and good portion size (2 crab cakes), and Brussel sprouts (ordered without bacon) were tasty. Cauliflower side was undercooked. Good wine selection, too. Prices were moderate. If you're not staying at the hotel, the restaurant will validate parking, too. I would return if I'm in the area to try other menu items.

   The $95 Easter brunch wasn’t worth the price. It was worth maybe $60. It was mediocre at best. The crab fingers and shrimp were low quality. The crab fingers were soggy as if they had been pre-frozen. The sauce, which I think was their version of a remoulade sauce was blah! The English muffin on the eggs Benedict was dry and muffin was tough to cut. Tried a second one freshly made up and it was the same. The gnocchi (I'm guessing that's what it was) was thick. I guess it had sat there and absorbed all the sauce. It didn't taste good either. Neither did the alfredo sauce on the pasta that I got from the pasta station. I have had better jar sauce.The porchetta was dry. The mimosas were $12 with no refills! There should have been at least one per person. So Tacky! The air conditioning vent was directly over us which made our food turn cold quickly. My coffee didn't stand a chance at staying warm. I did tell our server that my daughter and I were cold and he said he would see what he could do. The temperature never changed. Families with children got a couple of extra perks. There was the person in the easter bunny costume that you could take pictures with and they had a balloon animal artist. For the price this was the worst brunch I have ever been to. I've been to some very fine events for less. My daughter overheard them tell the people at a table near us that they were also doing a Mother's Day Brunch. Save your money. Overall, The was not a good experience. I left feeling cheated.

   We have done this event 2 years in a row and last year we LOVED it! The food was amazing and the service was great. This year, the food was cold, the quality was way less than expected. We were told when we got there we didn’t have an assigned table but when we got upstairs the place was all but empty. I am a single mother of 3 boys and we eat a really nice dinner on Easter and Mother’s Day. To say I am disappointed I wasted $500 on this meal is an understatement! Unfortunately we will not be back!

   I was very displeased with my experience there. Menu items were very limiting, way overpriced, we were over promised and under-delivered. I paid for the valentines experience and pretty much did not receive anything that was discussed with me. I was told there would be a harp player live (there wasn’t), fireworks with dessert (there wasn’t), take away chocolate dipped strawberries for my date (there wasn’t). The night there was just horrible, service was nonexistent, I saw the waiter 3 times in the hour and a half I was there, food was literally cold, the bread they served us tasted like it’s been sitting out for 2 weeks, even charged me a $50 fee for “gratuity” I left the place feeling like I got robbed. I do NOT recommend anyone going there. For what I paid for that night I could’ve gone to NOBU or Monarch.

    Outstanding Service from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. Great explanation of specials, menu, and drinks available. Unfortunately that’s where it peaked. The Special we ordered was the 8oz Filet and 9oz Lobster. Requested the Steak medium… came out well done. Lobster had great flavor but was well shy of 9oz. Served without a steak knife and melted butter, left us wondering about quality. That same was for the drink quality and presentation. When reading the descriptions, we were excited to see what was to come. What came was a heavily salted margarita that seem to have more sweet and sour mix then fresh ingredients. And a Moscow Mule that was served in plain glassware vs a traditional copper mug. For the cost, we left dinner feeling underwhelmed. Not terrible but not a something we were able to brag about.

    Everything we ordered was excellent. The guacamole had a smokey flavor and the grilled pineapple and bacon were great flavor adds to the guac. The Pork Belly was wonderfully done and was a favorite of the table. The charcuterie board had multiple wonderfully flavor combinations of cheeses and meats, although I'd rather see the presentation on a board than inside a deep box. Entrees of steak, salmon, and short ribs were all very excellent. Service was a bit slow, but worth it with a friendly knowledgeable waiter that was able to make good recommendations. The noise level was acceptable for the ability of 6 people to talk easily around a table. We stayed for quite a long time and never felt rushed to turn the table over. I was a little apprehensive about the location inside a hotel, but we were very pleased with everything. I would recommend it to anyone and will certainly return when we're in the area.

    Worse service I do believe I've every received. The restaurant wasn't full and I literally had to call out for a waiter to place the order after being seated for 35 minutes. I could understand if most tables were full, there there were only five small parties in the restaurant. It was Christmas Eve. Won't be returning.

    First it was freezing in the almost completely empty dining room but was told that nothing could be done about it - so we kept our coats on. It obviously was unusually cold so we would have overlooked that but the food was rather tasteless and totally overpriced - I had made the reservation based on the high scores and reviews. But my food was cold when delivered and not tasty at all when redone for me (crab cakes). The portions were very large but most of the food was mediocre at best. The bill was over $500 for 6 - and Asador went on our “never again” list.

    I was there for Thanksgiving brunch with my mom. We had excellent service and fantastic food. Special shout out to Aryes, the Asst Manager, who made sure we were having a great holiday meal. We will be back to check out their regular dining menu soon.

    My spouse and I both ordered filets. my steak knife had a hard time cutting through mine and my spouse's was raw inside. after sending it back I had finished my meal and didn't our server again until the new steak was returned. after we cut into the new steak it was well done. We would never recommend this restaurant due to poor service and food quality.

    Thought we were going for the restaurant week menu but the restaurant only was participating for one week and this was not it. Rosie our server was very understanding and apologetic for the mixup. She went over the top with her service. We decided to stay. We had eaten here before and knew the food was delicious. Entrees were very good. Pork chop was cooked well and the chutney was superb. The burger was excellent and cooked to temperature. Had the baked Alaska for dessert. Knowing that the chef makes an excellent lemon curd, was disappointed not find any distinct lemon flavor in the Alaska. But the dessert was completely eaten regardless. Love the freshness of the menu.

    Went with friends from Colorado to share DFW restaurant week this past Saturday. Well, it didn't work or happen. 1st Waiter didn't know anything about it. The 2nd guy, Chris, and the manager gave me several reasons why I couldn't get restaurant week menu. I have mobility issues and didn't have a 2nd option selected, so we ate there. Last year, I got screwed by Texas de brazil bc of a bad waitress. Then, I was charged regular price for a restaurant week dinner. This is the second time I've been disappointed. I've been going to DFW restaurant week FOR YEARS! This is a shame. I have MS and getting around is an hearty effort. This was once my chance to support the Lena Pope organization and score an excellent dinner experience.

    We came for restaurant week. The price and food was good. However the service was lacking. I’m aware places tend to be more busy during this time however it wasn’t a busy place. I could count all the people in the establishment. No one ever came to check on us or refill our glasses. I had to flag someone down. It took us a little over 2 hours for dinner and it was just my boyfriend and I. More than half of the time was just “waiting”. Waiting on the next course.. waiting for waters to be refilled.. waiting for a drink order… and waiting for the check and to-go boxes.

    There was only one poor waiter for the entire restaurant. It took almost 4 hours to eat a 3 course meal because we waited so long for each course. When the food did arrive it was either cold or incomplete.
