Food was delicious, and service was Great. Asado never disappoints!
It was a great meal.
Stated business casual but lots of trashy ppl on the patio. I want expecting that. Waitress was the best!
Good food, cool vibes.
Excellent food. Quite authentic. Our server was outstanding.
It is very noisy and cramped in the restaurant. The tables and chairs are very close together and when full can be a bit closterphobic.
Excellent food and the wait staff was observant enough to not interrupt when we were talking. They were very helpful in the selection and right on target.
Absolutely amazing food. Service was great, it’s a small place so my only complaint would be we were practically sitting at a table with the people next to us. Everything else was superb!
I love Asado! The food is delicious, and the staff in the restaurant and bar are kind and accommodating. I have a wonderful experience each time we dine there.
I would come here all the time if I could afford it. Well worth the price. Everything was delicious.
This is the second time in about three weeks I've been to Asado's, first for a birthday and then now to share a wonderful meal with a nephew who flew in from New York City. The thing is, my nephew is quite an accomplished chef himself, so I wanted him to experience an extraordinary meal while visiting -- and that's just what we did. It was a wonderful evening...!
One of my Favorite places in tacoma. food is pricey but worth it.
Always great. Perfect food, perfect service.
The table was ready on time. We were served bread, water and our drinks right away. I sat on a bench type seat and I felt like I was sitting a little low. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time. My steak was perfect and my husband’s fish was perfectly cooked with good flavor. He said the sauce was too salty. The noise level was high and it was hard to hear at times. We ordered dessert but they were out of our choice and we didn’t order anything in it’s place. The dessert was on our bill so we had to get it corrected. Parking is a problem unless you use valet.
Great service. The food presentation was wonderful with amazing flavors. Recommend the Calamari as an appetizer and lamb shank was fall off the bone tender. A little noisy but fun date night hang out
As always, dinner was amazing. I love when the hype (the hype I make) is justified.
Always a good experience
Food was great. Waiting for the food not so much... but overall great dining experience:)
Anytime I have a special event this has always been my go to place. I’ve celebrated my son’s birthday with 10 other people in the group; I’ve celebrated one-on-one for birthdays of special people in my life. I’ve also been fortunate to have my own birthday dinner here.
I can’t even begin to tell you how good the food is. The ceviche is absolutely so fresh, probably the best I’ve ever had.
My date and I ordered the porterhouse steak special for two. For $78, you get a huge, absolutely delicious steak with two sides of your choice.
Always a place to go when you want the best. The waitstaff is also superb.
I have a nephew from New York City visiting towards the end of this month, and he’s a chef. This is the place I’m going to take him to.
Visited on a busy Friday warm day in Tacoma and had a great time. The large open window/door to the street and the wood smoke and Argentine spice smells made it feel like we were on vacation.
We had the crab cake appetizer, two of the eggplant pastas (excellent) featured on the special menu (one fixed vegan) and the chopped Asado salad. All the dishes were superb and the eggplant dish had a great smokey taste.
Did I mention the delicious bread that comes with some kind of butter with herbs that make you want more (I asked for and got more)? The service was friendly and fast.
I really liked the ambiance of the place. I was there around six p.m. A great cross-section of patrons from what looked like office workers, couples on dates, families on a special occasion, a bit of a singles vibe in the bar area that made for fun people watching.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had since moving to the area ten years ago. The food was amazing! Great service and ambiance.
Noisy environment. However, fantastic food and a great attention to service.
This is our go-to restaurant when we want great food and service and unmatched consistency in both. The food is creative, tasty, and well-executed. The service is friendly, professional, and consistent. The noise-level is a bit high, so it's not for a quiet, romantic evening, but it's perfect for any other occasion. The prices might seem high at a glance, but I will tell you it's worth every penny. We often repeat our "usual" order, but we occasionally get one of the specials. I had the salmon off the special menu this time, and it was incredible - cooked perfectly, and the corn cake was unique. I usually have leftovers, but not this time! On the regular menu, we can recommend the Empanadas, the Caesar Salad, the Lomillo (hanger steak), the Garron de Cordero (lamb shank), the Parilla Mixta (mixed grill), and the chocolate toffee cake. Anything we've ordered has been great, but those are our repeats. Ready for our next visit!
A little too loud for me. I do love Asado. The food and wine are great!
Very nice restaurant. Good service, great menu and very good food.
Our server was great................................
Went for anniversary dinner on a bustling Friday evening. The wait staff is top notch. Very accommodating even though we were late. They pour great stiff drinks on the patio! Argentinian theme is interesting and the food was good! 4/5 stars. I had the $50 lomo steak and would do so again. Not much in the way of complaints. Food took a while, though bread was plentiful. The noise level was fairly high; they could probably do with more space. Would return! Want to learn more about Argentinian meat as opposed to Brazilian.
Great steaks. Great drinks. Enjoyed our server. Just a little noisy, but we’ll be going back for sure!
The food is awesome and the service was great. The great smokey smells of the cooking greets you as you approach and gets your mouth watering in anticipation.
As a vegetarian, I was pleased that there were plenty of choices. Too often restaurants create a "special" vegetarian dish that are not in line with their culinary focus but not at Asado.
Excellent food great service. I would highly recommend!
The atmosphere is wonderful and the service was impeccable! Everyone was very attentive to our needs the entire time we were there. I believe our servers name was Ashley and she was very knowledgable about the menu and answered all of our questions with ease. The food was delicious, I could eat the purple Peruvian mash everyday, but probably shouldn't! The cocktails are exceptional as well. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious appetizer of empanadas, and entrees of flank steak and rib eye. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and this place was perfect! Asado exceeds expectations!
Super casual, shorts/T-shirt friendly or dress to the nines, either way you get five star service and top notch food with a very nice atmosphere. I always recommend this place!!!
Amazingly well prepared, flavorful food. Unlike any other restaurant I've been to. The waiter was sweet and attentive. I think my 76 year old mom had a crush... I only wish it was closer to west Seattle.
We went on Father’s Day. My dad’s pasta was WAY too al dented and my husband’s steak came back medium instead of medium well. I’m mostly vegetarian and it would have been nice to have one or two vegetarian entree choices, since I like to go out with my meat-eating friends and family. I ordered a $10 salad and for that price, I should have felt like I ate or ate least like it was something special, which it wasn’t. The service wasn’t great but the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud.
Most people love this place and I understand that this just might not be our cup of tea.
Best steak I’ve ever paid for. Great service and will definitely be going back.
Customer service was spectacular. My wife enjoyed the pork chops, however I was a bit disappointed with the rib eye, especially considering the cost.
Took my husband at lunch time today as few people have recommended us the place. I was very excited to try this place with him as a pre-fathers day lunch date.
The server a young guy excellent! Wished all the food was as good but sadly was not the case. The only thing I liked was the soup.
My Asparagus were extremely over cooked, the flank stake bland and impossible to swallow as was extremely chewy. I tried, I really tried to eat it but I couldn’t.
My husband’s Asado burger was bland and overcooked as well. The server had no clue, my choice not to tell him as he was so attentive and our disappointment could’ve make him feel bad and as a Mom I didn’t felt was ok to say something at that moment. I wasn’t planning to write a review either but I don’t want others to have their hopes up as we had with this place.
We are definitely not going back. Didn’t worth the $60+ we paid for it.
Next time If we want a good flavorful steak or protein out of the house we will definitely be going back to Texas de Brazil.
Our wait staff were excellent. Our meals exceptional ! We will not wait so long to return 💙
The food is phenomenal and so is the service. The quality is top notch and is always constant. My only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant is the noise level. It’s very hard to carry on a conversation, with the person across the table from you, in a normal voice.
I love Asado! From the moment you pull up to the Valet, every person that greets you is friendly and welcoming. Our service is always on point...pleasant...attentive and not overbearing at all...just right. The food..so delish! Flavor rush! Great date night place or small group of friends. I dont recommend for little kids as seating is kind of close and there is a "grown-up" vibe. Not fair to the littles or other patrons to bring them maybe. 😉
