The best authentic, meat and wine lovers restaurant in Greater South Seattle area!!! Service is great, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Love this place and if I could, I would dine there every evening!
We took an out of town friend here, and Im so glad we did! The interior is cozy but the manage to make it feel that theres ample room. Lovely decorations inside. We had a very nice server, thank you Sarah! Very knowledgeable about the menu. Lucky for us they had just gotten in Kagoshima Wagyu. We ordered that and whst a treat! I can honestly say i have never had a steak that good. It was amazing! But everything we had was excellent. They have a plantain/bread pudding tupe of dessert that is frankly impossible to describe, all i can say is get it!! We will definately be back, i loved everything about this place!!
The service was outstanding. We didn’t feel rushed or neglected, just the right amount of attention
One of our favorite spots
Awesome as usual
We visited Asado on our anniversary. Our waiter, Ben, was awesome. My steak was over done but tasty, so I didn’t complain.
Celebrating our daughter's birthday with fabulous, creative food choices! Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, important to us since one of us has to avoid gluten. Very fun atmosphere!
This was our 2nd time to Asado and we enjoyed a fabulous meal. The menu is creative with something for everyone. The food is well season and cooked to perfection. The meat on the short ribs was so tender, did ont need a knife to cut. We were celebrating my father's 79th birthday and when the waiter heard that he brought the dessert menu and told us his dessert was on the house. He ordered the donuts which came out hot out of the fryer, dipped in cinnamon sugar with two different dipping sauces. They were amazing! Will definitely return!
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We both ordered the beef short ribs (the server recommended them). The flavor was good but my cut of meat was so marbled with an excessive amount of fat that it made the texture mushy.
We are long time diners at Asado. Part of why we choose to go there for special occasions and to entertain is the consistent quality. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed in our meal. Service etc was good but both my husband and I felt the food was very below par and for a $50 steak his was plain and did not come with all of the toppings it usually does. My stuffed chicken Serrano was not even stuffed at all and did not come with the glaze it normally does.
I’m sure we will try again but for a meal costing over $200.00 we expect excellence.
Asado is still holding a top spot in Tacoma. I am always confident that my meal will be good and trust that I will not be disapointed when I need to entertain friends, clients or associates.
I had left a message with Open Table and had asked for a Birthday Surprise.
We came for a friend's birthday lunch. The ceviche appetizer was fantastic and all of our entrees were flavorful and the portions were nice sized. We are going back in a couple of weeks to celebrate another birthday... can't wait!
Wife’s birthday with friends
Great food and service. Love the workers here and the place.
The service was great, considerate of our having discussions on business, yet extremely friendly and helpful with the menu as it was our first time there. The cervichie was wonderful, but more then two people could eat, but we did our best. The steak skewers were also great, but again more then we could eat after the cervichie. We will be back as we enjoyed the place.
This was, hands down, the best restaurant I have been to. Food was delicious from bread and chimmichurri butter to dessert with the chocolate torte and ice cream. Every bite was a explosion of flavor that lingered. The staff was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu. I haven't been able to stop talking about it and will be going again soon
Argentinian Cusine is unique and consistently good, our server Ashley kept things moving and was very pleasant. You must make reservations as the waiting area is lacking but plenty of room in bar.
Our flat iron steaks were excellent, great service too. Only complaint(minor) is that we were seated 20 minutes late from our reservation time, so we ordered drinks in the bar while we waited for our table. Our meal was worth the wait!
It was to loud and the ribs were mostly fat. Over priced
Food was great but not amazing considering the price you pay. Fantastic wine options!
Unimpressed by valet and his communication skills and manners
The food has changed. The chef now adds more spice and sauce. I always have the sea bass which is easily over powered by sauce. It wasn't as good with the sauce.
Husband’s steak was overcooked, and sweet potatoes were undercooked. It’s sad when you go to a STEAK house and they don’t make sure their steak is cooked how the customer wants it. Argentineans are known for loving their steak, so it’s a shame to go to an Argentinean steakhouse in the states and not have good steak!
Food was great my only complain is the ceviche wasn't season at all. Lack flavor pretty bland.
Regular customer for years and usually love it. But this time cane in for a late valentines dinner. Seated next to a large group that was VERY loud during our entire visit. Room was very loud and overheated. Swordfish was cooked properly but bland and the duck was cooked properly but very little seasoning present and the skin was limp rather than slightly crispy as I requested. My guest was not impressed after I had mentioned this is my favorite restaurant. I’ll be back hoping for my usual good experience.
It was so loud in there we could barely hear each other
Awesome experience, Asado’s team is extremely friendly. Will come back for sure!
Everything was good, but tables are too small to fit a order for two. We had to ask for the candle in the middle of the table to be taken away because space was so tight. You guys need to invest on bigger tables especially for two people. We did like 2-3 orders and our table got packed that’s not including the drinks that take space. Food was great, but my Chicken Picata had little seasoining. Next time I will go for the steaks that have more flavor and seasoning. Other than that everything was good.
We had dinner on Valentines Day, prior to going to a concert.
Reservations were easy.
It was very busy as could be expected.
Valet parking was nice.
It was very warm inside. Actually hot.
A little too much noise to be "romantic" but it's not all that hard to tune out the rest of the world.
My steak was excellent, my wife's vegie meal not so excellent (but it was vegie - it can't be great if it's not carnivore!!!).
Service was excellent.
We will return. Probably not on a busy night like Valentines Day.
Food was great! Could definitely tell they specialize in what they offer. Entrance is a little crowded though.
Love this place, and Kate is wonderful.
The waiter was wonderful and the food delicious. Even brought my husband a birthday dessert!
Love this restaurant! Their food is tasty and unique; love the polenta!
Some of the window seats are a little close together. I felt like I was a part of the date of the couple next to us. If you don't eat their regularly, it's hard to understand what you are ordering on the menu. But overall, the food was excellent and the service was good.
Been there many times. Great food, great service, great ambiance.
Noisy. Attentive, but somewhat slow service. Food was good, but pricey.
Our party enjoyed the Meal for Four which included a terrific sample from all over the menu. Food was delicious. Our server was attentive and recommended an excellent and reasonably priced bottle of wine. Well done Asado!
Once again a great time. I think prices have gone up a bit, but what haven't??
Thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour starters! Great flavors and great values! The wait staff is very professional and tries to anticipate your every need without hovering! Well trained and still personable! We salute the Chef! Keep it up...a small part of Argentina in 'lil old Tacoma!
