Arturo's Trattoria Ratings and Reviews
Arturo's sets every standard for fine dining in Maryland. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is quiet and welcoming. If you're in Anne Arundel County looking for superior Northern Italian food, look no further than Arturo's Trattoria.
Well-presented, carefully presented food, and excellent, attentive service. Best Caesar salad around. I would have liked the polenta rather than the mashed potatoes on the scrumptious Canadian Elk shank osso bucco special, but that’s a personal preference. The chocolate mousse/zabaglione dessert was perfect (for 2).
The ever-expanding menu and wine list keep drawing us back to Arturo's. The chef creates wonderful traditional dishes using fresh ingredients and home-made pastas. And if nothing on the menu starts your mouth watering (a very unlikely event), or you want your dish tweaked just a bit to better suit your taste, the staff will do everything they can to accommodate your needs. Nick, Chris and the rest of the crew are true professionals with a desire to make your visit to Arturo's memorable. We have been going to this, the finest Italian restaurant in Maryland, ever since Arturo moved in, and I can honestly say I have NEVER had a dish (from apps to dessert) that wasn't absolutely delicious. Our favorite dining destination continues to amaze.
Good, but not as great as the last time we went. The food was good, but nothing tops the great food we had the last time we ate there. Must have been an off night. I had the snapper in parchment and it had an odd taste, not bad, just sort of like plastic. Then, I kept getting pieces of parchment in my mouth. Not a great way to enjoy a meal. That being said, service was good and we will go back because of our previous experience.
The food was amazing, service impeccable and the ambiance was fantastic. Do not let the location fool you, this is a hidden gem that would be leading the pack if anywhere else. Fantastic and authentic menu, amazing wine list and knowledgeable staff. Only think that would have completed my meal would have been a side of pasta to compliment the perfect veal I had. Make sure to leave room for dessert.
Arturo's was a great and wonderful surprise. You really have to understand Glen Burnie to know what a great find this restaurant is. The location is by no means special (it's in a small strip-mall plaza). However, the restaurant, itself is absolutely wonderful. Inside, it is very clean. We decided to try the restaurant for an early Saturday dinner and were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our table. The menu is absolutely wonderful with traditional Italian favorites throughout. The food is cooked to perfection, and not over- or under-seasoned. There is plenty to find on the menu from pasta to fish to meat (even risotto). They even have a very nice wine selection. The owner personally visited each and every table and asked the guests how was their meal. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to dinner. We typically travel to Baltimore or Annapolis to find a good, quality restaurant. Not anymore. This will quickly become our favorite restaurant. Don't let the location (or look from the outside) fool you. This is a very good, quality restaurant, operated with pride from the owners.
Impeccable service. Quiet, elegant ambiance. Strong wine list. Great cocktails. Wonderful authentic food. Superb! Sure, you'll pay a bit more to dine here, but indulge yourself! Nick, Chris and the entire staff will take good care of you. Chef Ottaviano has another gem here at Arturo's Trattoria.
Delicious as always. Waitress recommended a delicious wine that was a hit. Would have given 5 stars but asked for my dish to leave out the hot pepper and and was told it was no problem. I needed several glasses of water to finish it, but was yummy nonetheless!
Delicious as a usual. Only drawback or plus, depending how u see it, the menu is very static as far as the same things on the menu all the time. That's not a bad thing necessarily....however, personally, I would love a new type of fish like halibut or the like or perhaps an unusual dish that never appears.....still, the best restaurant around by miles!
