fantastic food and superb service, a gem
Nice little gem in Glen Burnie.
Food, ambiance, and service were outstanding.
I thoroughly enjoyed Arturo’s Trattoria. My son just moved to the area and we decided to have a nice meal after moving him in. I will definitely come back on my next visit. The food was delicious. The pasta was fresh and the burrata appetizer was the best thing we ate. The only disappointment was the service. It was just okay. I don’t like when plates are cleared before everyone at the table has finished eating. Our wine glasses were empty before anyone noticed to offer us another glass. Other than that, it was a very pleasurable experience. It wasn’t enough to keep me from coming back, but it’s something that they can work on.
We celebrate our anniversary here every year and look forward to the amazing food and extraordinary service. Thank you for the consistently beautiful experiences!
I've been coming to Arturo's for a couple years. The food is consistently amazing. Start with the daily soup and a beautiful burrata and grilled veggies. They make the most gorgeous, delicate gnocchi and fresh pastas. Everything is scratch-made. There's nothing I've ordered that is just good.. it's always fantastic. The whole branzino that is filleted at table side is an event, and the fish is delicate and perfect every time. Finish with a pistachio cheesecake. You won't be disappointed.
Not many people on Wednesday night so we had excellent service. You needed to wait some time for food. It’s not recommended if you are in a hurry. Servers are very kind and helpful. Food and drink were delicious. I personally recommend squid ink pasta, the best I’ve ever had. The only one thing is price is a little high. But overall that was an amazing experience.
The service was great and the food awesome.
I dined at Arturo's Trattoria in Glen Burnie on Thursday evening. The experience was five stars across the board and a memorable evening for one who considers himself a foodie.
The food was superb, the service impeccable and all somehow enhanced by the quirky location.
I have sampled many, if not most, of the top tier restaurant in the Baltimore- Washington region. Arturo's Trattoria was the equal of any and clearly first in terms of Italian cuisine.
Special thanks to the proprietor, Nick, for his hospitality and more importantly to Chef Francisco for his artistry.
Great dinner again at Arturo's. The grilled calamari appetizer was outstanding as usual. They had a special Dover Sole that was just flown in from Netherlands. Whole fish was filleted tableside. Delicious and no bones. Best Italian restaurant anywhere near BWI airport and as good if not better than you will find in Annapolis or DC.
Superb service and outstanding food. A quiet dining conducive to intimate conversation while enjoying fine dining. One wants to sample everything on the menu. What note could one require. Simply the beat Italian dining experience in the Baltimore metropolitan and surrounding region.
Best kept secret around. The food is excellent and the service outstanding!
Arturo's is consistently wonderful! The food is excellent and the service is superb. It is our favorite restaurant for a special night out.
There were six of us for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Started with three different appetizers - bison, mozzarella, and calamari (of course). All were delicious. We also indulged in some of their specialty cocktails including sangria and these too were all unique and delicious. For dinner, three of us ordered their lobster ravioli special which was excellent with large pieces of lobster in the sauce. The other three ordered off their regular menu and their meals were also excellent. At the end of dinner they brought a complimentary piece of cake and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter-in-law without us asking. It was a special evening with great food, drinks, and ambiance. My only comment - please add cannolis to the dessert menu!
Arturo's periododically offers special menus for special occasions. This time it was the New Year's Eve Prix Fixe experience. This time Chef Arturo outdid himself. From the bison carpaccio and the beet salad, through the pasta courses, the prime angus filet (with pate du foie gras) and lobster tail main courses, and the panna cotta and chocolate mousse desserts, it was one delicious mouthful after another. Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Nick Piazzola, one of the owners, sat with us for a chat and made clear something we've known ever since Arturo's opened -- the entire staff is passionate about providing a unique, memorable dining experience. They always do that for us, and tonight's offering was certainly unique and memorable. Bravo!
2d visit, excellent food - fresh, authentically Italian, both diners very pleased. Our servers were attentive, we enjoyed the relaxed, elegant atmosphere, and will return.
The server, Keith was attentively and amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes delicious food.
I have always enjoyed this restaurant; last night was a surprise with the special menu. No mention on our reservation with Open Table. We left as my family wanted less of a meal. See you next time.
Bar seating for one was neither comfortable nor festive. The service was satisfactory. The food, as always was very good.
The best meal we had had with the exception of our country club
It was disappointing after having been to the restaurant back when fresh fish was a main stay
Fantastic atmosphere, we were greeted at the door and shown to a lovely set table. The choices were plentiful, the wine list ample, and the service was excellent.
first we split a homemade Mozzarella (Caprese) with roasted red peppers, olive oil and fresh basil. So good. My partner had medallions of tender veal, and as a vegetarian, I ordered a pasta dish, full of flavor, with a sauce that was worthy of bread dipping. Desserts were wonderful as well. We split a layered chocolate and hazelnut torte.
They were short of help with all tables full but our waiter did all he could do to serve us. The food was excellent.
Always an amazing experience! Food and service perfection!
Although it is not in our area at all, it is always worth the drive. Can not say 1 negative thing. The food is great, the service excellent, noise level moderate so you can have a conversation, owner always checking on diners. We love it!
We have been to Arturo's several times. The food and service is consistently very good. It can be pricey, with a la carte for salads and sides. The menu has many excellent choices from classic Italian, to seafood pasta, veal and pork. I recommend it for special occasions.
Very nice meal. Our server was so nice and helpful. We would come more often but usually dine out on Sunday night and Arturo’s is closed on Sundays. Very good dinners and the cocktails were perfect. We’ll be back.
Not our first time at Arturro’s, but one of the best. Simply love this place. Food is fresh and made to order. Ate way too much and loved every bite. Don’t be fooled by the location - this place is incredible.
The staff and management are excellent to work with. Very accommodating and attentative.
Adonis was our waiter and we have been there before and he was outstanding (just like all other visits) Ally was our bartender - great Martinis!!! I am primarily writing this review due to the lamb chop dinner. This was by far, the best double cut NZ lamb I have ever had....ANYWHERE. And it was prepared EXACTLY as requested. I am ready to set up another reservation to Arturo's just because of the experience this past Saturday!! Do not miss this hidden gem in Glen Burnie, MD!!!
We went on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Keith was our server and he was outstanding. Everyone who waited on us made us comfortable and it was enjoyable. The food was delicious, clearly scratch made, and worth the cost. We will be back for sure.
(This was a date and I am glad we didn’t bring our kids.)
Arturo's was a pleasant surprise in a non-descript strip mall in Glen Burnie. Food was really top notch with some very interesting choices. The grilled seafood app (octopus, calamari, scallops) was delicious, as were all the pasta and seafood entrees enjoyed by our table. It was a perfect place for a nice business dinner within 15 minutes of the BWI hotels!
Recommended by a friend, the meal was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the seabass entree. The mixed berries and gelati dessert was a perfect ending. The server, Bessy was personable, professional, and courteous. I would recommend the restaurant to friends.
Always a great experience. Fantastic food with personable service. Active ownership and very friendly and professional chef.
The food was exceptional as was the service
Excellent food, surroundings, and service.
We had never been to this restaurant but it was highly recommended by someone who said, “No need to drive up to Little Italy, try Arturo’s”. So glad we did, and our anniversary dinner was spectacular!
I would like to try each dish on the menu at least once! Each flavor is an individual happiness.
Wonderful evening with excellent food and service.
We have never been disappointed with the many meals we have enjoyed at what has become our favorite neighborhood restaurant. This time we order the veal chop which, though pricy, was perfectly prepared and creatively presented stuffed with prosciutto and cheese with a caper tomato sauce. Staff are friendly and efficient and the owner always stops by to assure all is well. It’s a shame all restaurants aren’t run with this attention to detail and perfection.
This has always been a favorite for us. I was the very first customer at its predecessor, Alberto's, in 1985. We had not been here in a few years, but had the opportunity to visit earlier this week. Alberto's was eternally the best Italian restaurant in the region during its run. When Alberto stepped away, I was very skeptical that any new owner would be able match the fine dining excellence that was the continuous draw there. When I heard that Arturo was stepping in, I had very high hopes. I have know Arturo for more than 25 years, having met him when he was the Maitre 'D at Alberto's. What we encountered during this visit was stunning. Arturo's outperforms Alberto's in every way. From the moment you walk through the door, you know you are about to experience something very special. The venue is extraordinarily well-managed, and is staffed with obviously dedicated professionals throughout. The kitchen is in great hands these days, with everything that makes it to your table being better than you would have thought possible. The service solution, guided by owner Nick Piazzola, is simply flawless, with the team seeming to know what you want before you do. This team of great fine dining professionals are extraordinary, dedicated and clearly enjoy their work. Make no mistake, this is a very special fine dining venue that outperforms any other venue in the region. An they do so making you feel like family from the moment you arrive. While I live 80 miles away in Northern Virginia these days, I am most assuredly headed back to Arturo's this weekend.
