We always have a great meal here - the food is superb and the service is just right. It is nice to receive a list of the weekly specials too. This is a treasure of a restaurant!
Best restaurant in Anne Arundel County/Baltimore area - great service by Greg and Adonis, great bar tendering with Amber, great atmosphere and most of all best food by Chef Francisco - on overall wonderful dining experience.
We have been several times. Never disappointed! Great menu and execution
Great Italian cuisine! Nick the owner is great. By far the best Italian food (even better than the food I had in Rome)
Excellent wait Staff, Excellent Service and Excellent Food. Fish dishes cannot be beat. Appetizers are all excellent as are the desserts.
Our waiter was the best. Made excellent recommendations and controlled the flow of service in a seamless and unobtrusive manner. I could probably remember his name if it wasn't for all the amazing food. Perfect portions for such a special occasion so that you could still enjoy all courses including dessert. Highly recommend Arturo's!
Owner and his staff were fabulous. Special Valentines Day menu included Octopus, Shrimp, and scallops appetizer. Chesapeake baked oysters stuffed with lobster in a Bernaise sauce was a wonderful taste sensation!! We will be returning to Arturo’s again and will highly recommend it to our friends and families.
Arturo's is truly fantastic. The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, the ambiance perfect. Finding a really good Italian restaurant in this region is difficult to say the least. Arturo's is without a peer in this area. Trust me, I grew up on napoliatano cuisine in Brooklyn, NY, and Arturo's passes muster!
Dinner was outstanding! The lobster ravioli was the best We have ever had. Everything is homemade and the service was as perfect as the meal. Our waiter, Adonis was extremely attentive. We will definitely be returning!
I had heard so many amazing things about Arturo's. I have lived in the area for years, and tried to make reservations in the past, and they were always booked solid. I made my reservation weeks in advance for the weekend 'before' Valentines Day. I used to wait tables, and it can be overwhelming on these types of nights, the restaurant is full- and the staff is in the weeds. Never the less, the night we were there every table in the house was seated. To my surprise, the service was excellent, the bottle of wine was delicious, and let just say, the the food was amazing! Already thinking about my next visit!! Thank you!!
Always a good place to go for fine dinning. A gem in the rough
It was the best dining experience ever. My son, a chef in OBX, and I were so impressed with the food quality & attention to details on the on every item we experienced. Just the right balance on the seasonings & fresh ingredients. Besides the fact that the restaurant is 3 miles from my home, the level of professionalism & atmosphere reminds me of going to someone’s home for a meal. That feeling of love and appreciation for sharing is abundant.
Great food! Great service. The Chilean Sea Bass was SO good. As was the lobster ravioli. Will definitely be back!
Great little spot in a strip center. Food was Amazing and Staff was awesome.
Still the finest restaurant in the county, and one of the finest in Maryland. Arturo's outshines any Baltimore Italian restaurant, hands down.
Arturo's and Chef Francisco continue to serve great meals in a lovely atmosphere. They do especially well with seafood and the pasta dishes are outstanding. It's the best restaurant in the Baltimore/Anne Arundel County
The menu is always exciting and different and there really are no bad choices. There home made pasta is a favorite but for this trip I went with a lamb special that was described and executed perfectly. My wife had duck (one of her perennial favorites). We don't eat here often enough but we are never disappointed when we do.
It was our first time at Arturo's. The broiled oysters were fantastic. Great selection of wine. The sauces were excellent. The gnocchi was bit mussy. I thought it was a little bit pricey, but the food was very very good, and the selection was great. We got there early 5:30pm, before the restaurant was fully staffed I believe. Our waiter became very busy towards the end of meal around 7pm before the rest of the staff arrived. Plan on spending 60-90 minutes for a relaxed, well prepared delicious meal.
The food and service was great. The waitstaff was friendly and even gave my friend a free cup of coffee. I would highly recommend.
Great food, fresh ingredients, fine service accommodating our requests.
A hidden gem. Excellent variety of entrees and wine selections.
Delicious food, good wine list, excellent service. Their lamb is amazing
Arturo's is a great find in Glen Burnie. The menu makes it very difficult to chose and everything I have ever tried has been wonderful. Appetizers and salads are large and easily shareable. Pasta dishes are innovative yet have all your favorites. Wild boar ragout papperdelle is fantastic and great comfort food. Service is impeccable and friendly. Not cheap but great value. Nice wine list as well.
LOVE this PLACE! Amazing food, wonderful service, cozy atmosphere.
Always a great go to.....first, the quality of the food is consistent and absolutely superior. Superior fresh fish with Dover Sole (whole fish) that is unequaled within 20 miles. Fresh pasta always as an alternative. Veal chop is exceptional. There is absolutely nothing better in the area. Locals really enjoy the ability to tap into this wonderful location. Nick (one of the owners) is often there....Servers are very knowledgeable about the menu, just ask them to explain the multi-faceted menu. Enjoy it. There is nothing like this between Baltimore and Annapolis.
Another outstanding meal , as usual!
Never disappoints! Worth the drive from Baltimore county!
Arturo's never fails, always great food and service.
I would have loved to give this restaurant a 5+ star review. The food was excellent from the Appetizers Grilled sea scallops, octopus, and shrimp over a bed of arugula and marinated octopus with diced tomatoes, melon, olives walnuts, etc. Pasta dishes Lobster Ravioli and lasagna just wonderful. And my husband Chilean Seabass was so flakey and perfectly cooked. My Veal tenderloin over polenta was outstanding. The Chef is fantastic. And bartender, waiter and staff was first rate and very professional.
Now for the problem, I made reservation in November and checked the web site many times including the 30th of December. On New Year’s eve at 1:35 PM received a call from the restaurant to confirm my reservation. And Nick proceeded to advise me that it was a fixed menu and the cost was $95 per person for a 4 course meal. It was not the cost that upset me, but that he called that late. What if we could not afford that cost? Try finding a good restaurant on New Year’s eve that late. The real problem to this restaurant is the owner does not know how to handle seating, etc. I would suggest that he goes and eats at Charleston and see what great customer service is.
Went to Arturo's for our Christmas Eve dinner. Reservations were at 8 p.m. , however, we did not get our first course until 9:15 p.m. The dinner options were from a fixed menu, so it was strange that it took so long to get three bowls of soup and grilled seafood appetizer. I had the lobster dinner and the lobster looked and tasted undercooked. Everyone else's dinner was very good. The restaurant apologized for the delay and did not charge us for a bottle of wine.
Friends had recommended it and we’d gotten takeout from there before, which was all fine. Went there for what we were expecting would be a lovely Christmas Eve dinner, but left after 90 minutes when we hadn’t received our first course and received no explanation as to why or what was happening.
Food was good but I expected Exceptional. The evening did not live up to my expectations. I will try again for a regular meal service. This was a Christmas Eve meal with a fixed price so I anticipated a stellar performance for the price, but the service end was not as it should be and it reflected on the whole meal. Menu was what it should be for the occasion but the my food was good not outstanding. My main was either under a heat lamp too long or held too long before service so it had dried out. Desert portions should have been uniform but were different cut sizes. Staff seemed confused and overwhelmed.
I was there early enough in the service that the dining room was not full yet so the service problems did not seem necessary. For me it was a disappointment.
The Christmas Eve 7 Fishes special menu was outstanding, delicious, and a great valu. Service was attentive, but not annoying. The courses were well paced and spaced. We were not rushed in service nor felt like we had to leave right after our meal.
Great evening. Wonderful food and excellent service.
A neighborhood place we had enjoyed before, but tonight we learned that they are not very good at accommodating special dietary needs—and in our case, a serious food allergy.
To meet friends and have s conversation. Wait staff professional and friendly, food is exceptional
5 Stars! What's left to say that I haven't already said?
The food, cocktails and wine were amazing. They appeared to be short handed the night that we were there but the service was still good. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
The food was fabulous, took a while to get our bread. The waiter was very knowledgeable. He was a little bit slower than we would have liked, but he knew the menu very well and make smart recommendations. He even found out it was my wife's birthday!
The service and food was exceptional. We went for an anniversary as a special place to go and it was everything we hoped for. I highly recommend Arturo’s!
