About Arturo's Ristorante - Boca Raton
One of the prettiest and long-lived restaurants in Boca Raton, Arturo's (featuring Northern Italian fare) is owned and run by consummate restaurateurs Vincenzo and Rosaria Gismondi. Their tuxedo-clad staff are attentive and friendly, and do their best to inform you about, and not just serve, the excellent food.
Arturo's has a number of distinctive and attractive features. The antipasti trolley is filled with a mammoth selection of traditional Italian dishes (don't picture the usual salads - we have enjoyed crab dishes, pastas, stone crabs, grilled eggplant, layered pastries stuffed with veggies and cheeses, smoked salmon, etc). It is marvelous, and, at a very reasonable cost, a terrific way to dine. Due to market fluctuations, some dishes may be priced separately, so be sure to ask if anything on the trolley is not included in the one price given. Entrees are also wonderful. The Dover sole is something to behold, the meats are tender and perfectly prepared in many ways.

Arturo's Ristorante - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
Great overall experience! Very old country style service with a head waiter who was an absolute gem and the team of waiters to appeal to every caprice that you can throw their way. Classy, warm and professional staff that makes you feel like it is your private dining room.
Has always been a special place for us. We return for wonderful food and the great welcome from the staff. Very professional and personalable. Exceptional fine Italian dining. My favorite is always the appetizer table and the whole Branzino filleted table side.
We have been to Arturo's several times. The food is great, the appetizer cart filled with delicious starters is hard to resist and the entrees never disappoint. Having a lovely place where you can dine beautifully, listen to live piano music and maybe dance to a few romantic songs is a great combination for a date night or night out with friends. We highly recommend this restaurant.
We had dinner this past Saturday night with another couple. Service was very good and food was well-prepared and tasty. The only criticism would be my food was not really hot but warm. Menus were promptly passed around, drink orders taken immediately. Conversation was easy to be heard as the noise level was quite low . Everyone enjoyed their meal and will return again soon.
We chose Arturo's as a place to celebrate my mother-in-law's 95th birthday. The setting is typically south-Florida, but once inside, the restaurant has a distinctly different vibe. Window treatments and curtains keeping out much of the light and heavy furniture and dark walls make it clear that you're in for a different experience (think "Little Italy" in New York City). The food at Arturo's was very good - but not great, and the service was very good - but not excellent. The prices were high - and higher than they should have been based on the food and the service. We left feeling that Arturo's didn't deliver the setting or the meal that such a special occasion had warranted. We won't be back.
I dine out at least 4 nights a week. I always like to try new places co I booked a midweek reservation at Arturo's. It was the most miserable dining experience you can imagine. The wait staff was almost nonexistent. We tried to get get someone's attention many times during and after dinner to no avail. Finally, to get our check proved to be such an ordeal we had to get up and get it ourselves - this after 15 minutes of trying to get anyone's attention.
It was like tht ll meal. When we complained on the way out the manager reacted as if we were the ones in the wrong, and finally mumbled something about having someone out sick.
There are so many GOOD restaurants in Boca that you don't have to throw your money at people who don't care about you at all!
I wanted so bad to love this place but the service was slow. I think our waiter was excellent but this place is very traditional in the fact they have numerous tableside options (which I love) but because of this they put their staff "in the weeds." We were left with dirty dishes and didn't receive drinks that we ordered. I think it was a busier night then usual but the need to get more staff. On a positive note this is a true traditional Italian restaurant. Homemade pasta, fresh buffalo mozzarella, great veal and fish dishes. Lastly how can you beat a tableside Caesar...FABULOUS!!
A lovely experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. My cavatelli al pesto were made from scratch that day and were phenomenal. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her fresh snapper in a tomato broth with clams and mussels. The owner suggested a delicious house white wine to pair with our entrees. We were very happy with our dinner here. Will be back soon!
The restaur ant has great ambience, excellent service, lovely flowers on the table, food excellent with extensive wine list. Nice music in the background which
didn't drown out our conversation. Will recommend Arturo's to friends and family.
Went for our anniversary. Lovely old world Italian with an elegant flare. Waiters very attentive and in tuxedos. Music room (side room) had a piano player playing dinner music.
Food was great. We shared a platter from the antipasto rolling cart. Our entrees were quite substantial. Enjoyed the Dover sole deboned table side with the champagne sauce made fresh at the table.
Lovely , elegant but a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
Food great, waited too long to order . Waited over 20 minutes to get our check. Our waiter disappeared to wait on another table. We asked several people to bring our check which never came. Got up & got ck from front desk . This made what should have been a lovely dining experience much less so . We are regular customers & have brought others to dine here . Disappointing .
