About Arturo's Ristorante - Boca Raton
One of the prettiest and long-lived restaurants in Boca Raton, Arturo's (featuring Northern Italian fare) is owned and run by consummate restaurateurs Vincenzo and Rosaria Gismondi. Their tuxedo-clad staff are attentive and friendly, and do their best to inform you about, and not just serve, the excellent food.
Arturo's has a number of distinctive and attractive features. The antipasti trolley is filled with a mammoth selection of traditional Italian dishes (don't picture the usual salads - we have enjoyed crab dishes, pastas, stone crabs, grilled eggplant, layered pastries stuffed with veggies and cheeses, smoked salmon, etc). It is marvelous, and, at a very reasonable cost, a terrific way to dine. Due to market fluctuations, some dishes may be priced separately, so be sure to ask if anything on the trolley is not included in the one price given. Entrees are also wonderful. The Dover sole is something to behold, the meats are tender and perfectly prepared in many ways.

Arturo's Ristorante - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
Seated immediately with open table reservation. Service started as impeccable and remained that way throughout. Wine selection was perfect and done offering two different vintages at two price points without any sales pitch. Food, from the antipasto cart of simple Italian dishes, to dessert was authentic Italian style. Everything was fresh, home made, carefully prepared and ‘simple’. It was superb.
Although I know the restaurant has been there since 1980, this was our first time. Fabulous experience from beginning to end. We started with the cold antipasto, served table side. It was great having such variety, artichokes, seafood salad, grilled Eggplant & more. For dinner I chose the South African lobster tails Fradiavallo over house made pasta, very good! My husband had the mixed seafood also over pasta & excellent.
They have live music in the other room & and many were dancing. Very nice noise level , you can actually hear conversations.
The best was the desert cart, all made in house and fabulous.
Our serving team of Nuri & Giuseppe made the meal even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to return!
Arturos is a special Italian restaurant that reminded us of tradition. This a fabulous restaurant that has an incredible cold antipasto tableside presentation that makes your mouth water just looking at the offerings. After viewing and extensive wine menu, while enjoying delicious breads and breadsticks, you just want to taste everything on the menu. Fortunately, Arturos lets you get pretty close to enjoy so many fabulous pastas, cheeses, fishes, meats and some great traditional Italian desserts.
We had such any enjoyable meal. It's great for a special occaison.
We visit Arturo's every time we come to Florida and we are never disappointed. The food is always so great and the choices make it very difficult to decide on what to order. The appetizer Cart is worth a trip here all by itself. We had the Seafood salad and Octopus and they were great as was the Special Oysters Casino. Main courses of Seafood Pasta were also excellent. The Desert tray almost as fabulous as the appetizer Cart, we settled on Cheese cake and Cannoli! Many wines by the glass as by the bottle and great selection of prices levels.
And, with all this, some very nice Piano Music during the meal!
Visit, you will like it better than most of the "mass food" Italian restaurants in Boca.
Arturo’s is truly a rare jewel. The service is truly special as they work as a team to give you a complete experience. They made a great penne pasta with peas and sun dried tomatoes that was off the menu. It is prepared table side and is fun to watch. We also had a classic caeser salad prepared table side as well as a bananas foster. What a treat!!!
I had the Veal pizzaiola and my sister had the saltabocca both food nirvana. My wife had a stone crab and a fish dish she savored.
Put on top of this the great wine list and pricing ( Caymus one liter $145 just say WOW!!
Arturos is THE place to go in South Florida for ambiance, a beautiful evening with your love or good friends, a special occasion, or just wanting to feel that you are back in a 5 Star NYC restaurant for less than half the price. The service is outstanding -- the music is always very romantic and makes you want to get up and dance to the standards -- and the food is the best in the area.
My husband usually orders the eggplant parmigiana - which is not on the menu -- but is the best ever! It tastes like veal francaise -- light and delicate. The wine list is fabulous -- and the dessert cart --which always changes -- makes it hard to refuse the freshly made bakery delectables.
We have made this our favorite restaurant by far and try to go one every week or every other week. Make sure to give Frederico and Nuri a smile -- they treat you as if you were royalty!
Just terrible experience rude asked for more butter three times they never picked up dirty dishes never asked if we wanted soda refill when we reminded the waiter about the butter and dirty plates he became very annoyed and said it wasn’t his job it was the bus boys job dinner was cold veal was so thin and loaded with cheese we told them we needed a meal without butter for someone highly allergic they recommended a chicken dish with sausage and when they served it, it had mashed potatoes with it which was made with butter and when we confronted them they became annoyed at that point we asked for the manager who became very defensive and argued every point with us
Greeted by friendly valet service; maitr'd; and seated promptly as per our reservation. Greeted by friendly well dressed staff; professional in their manner and knowledge of the menu and wine list. explained all the specials to the final detail. The food was very good as was the dessert choices. A little pricey but well worth it for a special occasion or anniversary.
From the time we were seated the servers were attentive and friendly. Rafael, our server paid attention to every detail. We chose to share a selection from the antipasto table as an appetizer. I ordered osso buco that was served with risotto and my husband ordered a chicken and sausage dish which he is still raving about. The background music was an added bonus.
Very impressive. Ambiance was superb...really evoked the feeling of Italy in a somewhat upscale setting. The food was excellent; some of the best calamari and burrata we have ever eaten. The Dover Sole is highly recommended as was the lasagne. The flan for dessert was great....cheesecake a little dry but noThing is perfect. The coffee was just how I like it, very flavorful and bold but not bitter. Overall, no complaints4 a wonderful experience.
Wonderful evening. Seven of us dined here as we wanted to spend time with my husband. He does not get out often because of health issues. When we came into the restaurant we were greeted like we were old friends. The service was impeccable. They made the evening very special.
It was my birthday. My parents have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years. The place was not busy at all, but our waiter was paying all his attention to a table of 8 next to us. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. A woman came BEFORE the meal and sprinkled so happy birthday confetti on the table. Staff was told it was my birthday prior, and the waiter showed us the dessert cart and then noticed the confetti, and realized his error. I had to order SOMETHING so at least we could put a candle on a dessert. He raced back to do this, and brought it on a plate. Worst thing was the chocolate was written "Happy Birthday SUSAN'. That's not my name!!!!!! Unbelievably disappointed as this was one of my parents favorite restaurants in Boca. Maybe they were off their game last night, but our waiter was so busy chatting with this other table, he barely noticed us
Our favorite Italian restaurant in south Florida. The place is as authentic as you can get. Best homemade pasta. Highly recommend the gnocchi bolognese or the ravioli filetto pomodoro. Their spaghetti white clam sauce is also amazing. Best canneloni. Be sure to ask for some of their grilled focaccia bread to have along side of any pasta dish! Can't go wrong with the Grigliata mista and/or Filet Madeira for second course. Both excellent. We are usually so full by dessert but it's hard to pass up "just a taste" when they roll the dessert cart in front of your table. Best tiramisu.
We have been to Arturo's many times over the past 20 years. I felt this time there was a loss of attention to detail. Seated promptly at nice table. Drinks brought quickly. No salad is served anymore. I missed that. The zucchini flower appetizer was not hot. The other "special" appetizer was just a few items off of the antipasto cart. Not really special. My veal saltimboca was too salty. The carbonara was good. The putanesca was with spaghetti. I would have preferred a thin spaghetti. The tira misu was a bit liquidy with too much espresso, also not served cold. The cannoli was good as always but again the cream should have been colder. We waited an inordinate amount of time after dessert for our check. I finally had to ask for it. We were just sitting and sitting. We had a coffee but no one offered to refill until we were ready to leave. Arturo's was always, always a 10, but this time it slipped to a 7 overall.
Another lovely evening. We were seated in the piano room and very much enjoyed the music. Our waiter, Tony, was very knowledgeable and professional. We started with the appetizer cart..a must! Everything was delicious, but the Torta was fantastic. Next we shared a spaghetti gismondi that was prepared table side. Wow! I had never had it before. It was amazing! Afterwards we each had a grilled plate of seafood and vegetables. Very fresh and perfect for summer. For dessert, we shared a lime tart which was very good.
We left stuffed and happy.
Another successful visit at one of our favorite restaurants. We visit Boca 3 to 4 times a year, each time, we return to Arturo's. The food and service are excellent. We love the music played by the pianist. The quality of the food is always betther than the last time. Tony, our server, was excellent.
What a fun Saturday night! The food was outstanding. Service was very attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful. And to top it all off, they even had live music and dancing! Arturo's is a rare find in the sea of Italian restaurants in South Florida. We cannot wait to go back!
Although a bit pricey, this is one of my favorite go to restaurant. You'll feel like you are in Godfather movie sometimes, but the food prep and taste is wonderful. Older crowd and music is usually present. Their chair side dishes are wonderful. Don't forget their steaks!
