Arturo Boada Cuisine
Tue–Sun 5:30 pm–10:00 pm
This is our favorite restaurant in Houston, and we have been to them all. This restaurant consistently has great food, service and wine. Camillo and Diego are great.
Authentic Italian cuisine with neighborhood charm.
A bit pricey for the experience but overall a good evening.
Dinner was outstanding. We were lucky to get a taste of Chef Boada’s handmade Cannelloni - superb. Enough for a main, but we split it. I had the tuna - great. My sister had the mussels. Wine list was extensive and last but not least their take on creme brûlée was unique. I won’t spoil the presentation. Will return again.
Auturo's is cozy but tends to be loud. Food choices and variety are very good. Wine selection is slightly on the expensive side.
Ceviche was fantastic as was ravioli
Wonderful place with superior bistro feel. Staff is friendly and service great. Classic Italian that is outstanding. Great wine selection. Just a fun place to meet friends or for the family.
The food is amazing, the service is really great. Highly recommend trying it. It is a loud place in the middle of the restaurant so get a table by the window if you can.
Loved this neighborhood family owned Italian restaurant. Red snapper and dorado special were delicious. Only think that needed to be upgraded was the bread. Will go back again!
Wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great as always
Wonderful!! Food, service, ambiance. Try the homemade ravioli. Fantastic!
Very good ravioli and rose wine was perfect and cold!!!
A lovely meal and friendly professional servers. We always feel special here and the staff seems to remember us even though it may have been several months since our last visit. Enjoyed a wonderful house salad with hearts of palm, ravioli and chicken provencal. Delightful!
Hands-on chef makes all the difference. Paella was well executed. Pasta tasted great.
Octopus, mussels, chicken Provençal and snapper al fresco were excellent. Tried the Boada label white wine, was great. Wonderful ambiance.
We had been eyeballing this place for awhile due to the great reviews on Open Table. The reviews are accurate. The service was very friendly and efficient and spot on. We had the Camarones en Hamaca for one appetizer and also the Mussels with tomatillo broth both very good then the Spinach salad but I was surprised it had olives in it which was not listed in its description. I don’t like olives so the GF eat those for me. Had the Pallela special just thought the pork and chicken were over cooked. One draw back the place only sells wine and beer. Really nice place we will be back.
Had never been before - based upon my initial experience, I cannot wait to return. All of the food we had was delicious and expertly prepared. Clam appetizer, salmon and snapper were all fantastic. Arturo - the Owner / Chef came around the dining room checking on people's meals - very nice touch. Service was very attentive and menu options are varied. Neighborhood gem.
Arturo Boada is our “go to” restaurant We love the ambiance, the food, the service. We are never disappointed
We love this restaurant. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is warm. The service amazing. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. The owner makes us feel extra special.
In certain respects this may well be the perfect restaurant. It's excellent and authentic, but has a welcoming, homey, unpretentious feel to it. I hadn't been in ages, but it still felt like putting on my favorite old pair of jeans - nice and comfortable.
Loved my halibut special and the tuna tartare. My date said the mussels were a smidge gritty but still tasty (she's a tad high-maintenance). Good desserts, even though we got them to-go and ate them at home.
Our server Diego exuded joy, warmth and friendliness. The owner himself makes a point of making the rounds and sat down at one table for a long time, as though he were catching up with an old friend. We're very fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood.
While we enjoyed the food, our waiter left much to be desired. He was totally uninterested in our ordering, don't know why he came in to work that day. It was a birthday celebration and we booked it as such, mentioned it to the waiter several times and at the end even had to ask if they offered any dessert to the birthday person. He finally brought 5 spoons of creme brulee !! It was almost offensive to us spending $225 +, definitely a finishing touch of cheapness on their part. Will think seriously about going again.
First time to this restaurant. Food was good and service was very good. Small family run restaurant. Inside decor is ok. I would choose this restaurant again only for a more casual meal as if I wanted to spend more money I think there are better places to go.
Arturo Boada's is our favorite local restaurant. Excellent food, wine and service!
All my dining experiences at Arturo Boada's have been wonderful. I love the cozy size of the space, the service is perfect and the food delicious.
I can't wait to go back!
This always is an amazing dining experience. Nothing else even comes close! The best food, best wine list, and the best service you could ask for!
We came back after a great veal chop a while back. Three of us had fantastic veal chops & one had very good branzino. Sides were good. Chocolate cake wonderful - - apple tart not so much.
This is a quaint neighborhood restaurant, quite a distance from my home. I will happily make this trip in rush hour weekday traffic because the food is so darn good. Everything I have had here is fantastic. This past week, they had gazpacho soup as a special. It was absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted. I also had the mussels, and they were great. My friend has the clams over pasta, and she loved them. The waiter was wonderful. And I wish I knew his name. He was so accommodating to everything we requested. Every other resturant in Houston could learn a lesson in how to treat customers from this resturant. No request is too big or annoying to them! My only concern is the resturant is small, and both times I have been there have been large groups, so the noise level is pretty loud.
Food is always excellent- every item on the menu!! Chef Boada always says hi to guests and asks how the meal is.
Amazing as always.
Great ambiance and friendly staff--ALWAYS consistently good! One of our favorites in Houston!
My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Cozy, great food & wine...try the creme brûlée!
Our first time at this restaurant. We joined friends from Australia who are there weekly when they lived in Houston. The food was absolutely amazing, the chef/owner came by for a visit, and the service was wonderful. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend!!
First time here. Dined in the wine room with my wife on her birthday. A little small but good for two. Food was delicious. Servers very attentive and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Without Open Table I never would have found this restaurant. Will certainly be back many times.
Wonderful evening! Food was superb and ambiance was excellent. Definitely a place we will come visit again.
Arturo Boada's always offers a great meal. The rather short menu was augmented by a few healthy specials. One was a seafood paella that was delicious and actually would be enough for two. The other was a flounder fillet with a nice crabmeat dressing with a light sauce. Wine choices cover a good range and are reasonably priced. It was a full house, but the service was still very attentive and competent and included a personable visit by the owner!
Chef Arturo has not lost his touch. He makes my favorite pesto chicken pasta from his old restaurant. Appreciate so much. The staff are so attentive and pay attention to detail. Great dining experience .
Fantastic as always. The food, service, ambience.
as always we loved our dining experience at Arturo Boada! Always have a great time!
Lovely professional and friendly service. Great, cozy restaurant that is great for a casual meal or a special occasion.
Amazing evening. Wonderful food.
