Understaffed? We had planned on having a nice dinner with friends at Atrizen. It turned into a very frustrating evening. After we were seated, note we had reservations, we waited until one of my friends observed that people who had been seated after us were being served drinks and snacks. So my friend went to find someone to help us. At this point we ordered our meal. Our appetizer arrived in a timely fashion. It was a little odd - the shishito peppers were tasty but the topping, which we think may have been cheese, was shaved so thin it tasted like burned paper. Once our food arrived we were satisfied with the fish dishes but the tomato risotto was a disappointment. And, again, we had to go in search of our waitress to get additional drinks. The final straw was when the bill arrived with the tip already added in at more than 20% on the total - including tax.
Substituted the wine we ordered with out telling us. Would not serve the wine on the menu because they did not open a new bottle. Food came out in 5 minutes. Was clearly premise and not great. Put one on their salad toppings on the perk which was over cooked. Will not go back.
I was here for Valentine’s Day. The place looked nice but for 235 the food I got was not good. Maybe good for somebody else’s taste but for me it was a rip off. I asked for a little pink in my small round of steak I got and it was completely raw got it back agin and it was still so pink but didn’t want to complain again. Won’t be going back but my girlfriend was happy to go out so that was the nice part. Our server was very nice. Just the food was a really no go definitely way over priced. Out of the 4 meals I only ate one of them and only a few bites off the others was definitely disappointed myself. On another note after I got home open the car door now it won’t close. The latch is broken and this is the reason I don’t like letting people take my car and park it. Don’t want to blame the people there but my door was working when I got there and when I got home and open the door and tried to close it, it wouldn’t close anymore. Took it to the shop and said it needs to be replaced going to be a 400 fix all my loss. But again don’t know if something happen there or it just happen to brake that night somehow
I don’t mind spending money on good food, but this was horrible. We went for Valentine’s Day with the set menu. The tuna tartar was slimy. The bacon tart tastes like cold brisket in chili sauce. The soup was ok. The salad was basic. My lamb was very tasty and well cooked, but my wife’s fish was cold. Thought we’d give the restraunt another try, but for the meal and several drinks the $300 tab was definitely not worth it. On the up side the ambience is nice and service was satisfactory.
Couldn’t get seated. Couldn’t get waited on. Couldn’t get refills. Grilled Romaine salad ok....pork was so well done it was hard to chew and was turned up on the side. Shrimp street tacos were too hot for my friend to enjoy. Scallop dinner was very good

The Artizen experience at The Camby never disappoints! The food and service are excellent! Special kudos to our servers, Jim and Susan! They are outstanding with their personal attention to details. The Egg White Omelet and Avocado Toast are some of our favorites...always prepared and served to perfection! It's definitely a favorite spot for breakfast/lunch!
Below average service and a marginal at best burger. You should take pride in your burger. Put more pub fare on your menu and boost your variety of beers and whiskey available. Your hotel serves quite a few businesses travelers and many millennials but you seem to miss the mark with the tendencies of both of these customers.
Our server Jen made our evening. Our entrees were fantastic but the kitchen was slow.

Decided to try Artizen with friends on a week night. Overall the service and food was very good.
The entire overall experience was wonderful. The service was fantastic and they are very attentive to ever need. Great job to entire crew👍👍

A wonderful Christmas Brunch, beautifully decorated and displayed brunch menu of offerings. The main brunch food choices were excellent and absolutely delicious! Desserts looked wonderful, however did not deliver on flavor as did the main and side courses.
No big crowds so made for enjoyable atmosphere and relatively easy lift for wait staff.
Only disappointment, was at the end for coffee, which the server seemed to forget and when host brought coffee, he did not bring the requested cream and he seemed annoyed when I asked for it. He never came brought the cream.
Lastly, as I was paying the bill, I asked my server for change, to tip the valet. After waiting, for what seemed a long while, my credit card receipt to sign was brought over; to my surprise, the server had given herself a tip of over 20% and still included a gratuity line on the receipt. It again took some time for her to return to the table for me to ask, and when she did make it over, she said it was included as part of the brunch charge. I said my bill did not indicate the gratuity charge. She said she would redo the bill. At this point, I was tired of the waiting and the unfortunate conclusion of a fabulous brunch start.
I am happy to pay for the service charge on two brunches, if one it is made clear and two it is indicated on the final bill. I wonder if other guests saw the additional costs or did they mistakenly add additional gratuity on their signed credit card receipt?
My thought was that server assumed, the valet change I asked for, also included her tip.
Next time make sure it is clear guests will be charged gratuity, no matter how many or few are in your party, and that the final bill indicates the total charge with the gratuity.
Had the Christmas brunch, excellent all around. Really nothing to complain about.
The staff, while having to work on Christmas when I know they would rather be elsewhere, were charming, accommodating and well-versed in being proactive with questions and responses.
The food, from the chilled mussels to the chewy artisan bread, was fresh and replenished. The carving table was staffed with a professional who was witty and the meat, while often dry at buffets, was juicy and the horseradish sauce was thick.
My husband and I have dined here before and have had excellent experiences - both food and service. Tonight we didn't have that same experience. While the food was excellent as has been previously - corn bread is to die for, their salmon is excellent, and the goat-cheese cheese cake is truly the "icing on the cake". The service was pretty disappointing, and it wasn't our servers fault, as she did the very best she could. There was only one server waiting on a half-dozen tables at least, plus doing hostess work - she was very very busy and I felt bad for her. Not sure why someone thought it was ok to have only one server at 5p dinner on a Saturday. Plus we didn't realize that this place only validates parking if you valet park, so we had to pay the parking fee. We were originally thinking of signing up for the Christmas brunch, but after our experience this evening, we won't be doing that.

Such a mediocre experience after wing recommended to go there. The waitress made us feel as though we were bothering her with our questions. Sorry that we bothered you. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
Attentive staff and flexible chef. Parking is a bit of a shuffle as only valet is available. Not a typical hotel restaurant by any stretch of the imagination!
Amazing food and I love the vibe and location but they were clearly understaffed and I had to constantly chase my waitress for drinks, boxes and our bill.
Restaurant Week menu; shrimp appetizer was best of the 4 restaurants we sampled this week. Salmon and pork entrees were great. House chard is nice and dry.
Entering through Camby lobby, there was no one at the reception stand. Asked bartender to help us. They did not check on a reservation. Noise level a bit high.
Table service was excellent. We were surprised that a 20% gratuity was automatically applied to a dinner for two.
We went for restaurant week. Service was poor, waited a long time for cocktails. Server was trying to take our dinner order when cocktails hadn’t even arrived. Asked her to check on our drink order, she told us the bar was backed up. I had a clear view of the bar, Not! The food was very good with the exception of the olive oil cake. We decided we would definitely return for the quality of the food. Then the kicker, our check arrived and a 20 percent gratuity was added for 2 people! Say what?! We weren’t informed & were adding a tip of our own until we caught it. Service wasn’t worth 25 percent let alone the 35 to 40 percent which would have happened if we didn’t think that the bill was a little high. This left us with a negative, not sure if we will now return.
Was here for Arizona Restaurant Week with a friend. Started off with the grilled shrimp which were lukewarm, but the cornbread was hot and great. The crispy salmon and pork tenderloin were great. The olive oil cake was good. Also did the wine pairing. The sparkling wine with the shrimp could have been colder. Excellent service. Valet parking at the hotel.
Online menu showed more vegetarian options than were on the menu at the restaurant, so that was disappointing to not have a veggie entree beyond a salad.

First time dining here and it was wonderful. I could eat the scallops everyday. Chef Mike is an amazing chef with a rare talent for creating flavors you will crave after the fact. Service was excellent and we had a great time.
Service was great, food was as well. Disappointing that several menu items weren’t available.....menu did not reflect this.
I loved the entire experience overall. I will continue to visit on a regular basis and highly recommended others. Great customer service....
1 waiter! For five tables that were all sat at the same time. Bar staff and hostess just standing around instead of pitching in. Food and atmosphere was great and the service just ruined it!

Food was good I had the avocado toast for brunch. Service was really bad/slow which is surprising as the restaurant was not at all busy
Very disappointing; not like advertised on line at all. I booked for Brunch and all we got was breakfast menu what they called the 'bar menu' didn't start until 2PM.Not advertised that way. One server who was also the bartender. Lousy service! had to go get my own mimosa after waiting for over 5 min to get it and we were the only 2 people in the place!!!
We were very wowed by our dinner! We will be back soon!

We were at Artizen for Arizona Restaurant week. Delicious food, excellent service. Hidden gem in the Camby Hotel.
Jim and Susan are incredible! They always remember all the small details and anticipate every want/need. The food is top-notch and served with a great presentation. Breakfast is served until later than most restaurants -- so it makes a great meeting place for a business "brunch meeting"! That's why I continue to keep coming back -- great food, great service and being exceptional at meeting needs!
