Very pricey with small portions. Did not like the scallops. My husband enjoyed his salmon. Warm beets were excellent as was the creme brûlée. Not rushing back. Decent service. Quiet until the. End when the bar filled up.
The food is exceptionally well prepared and creative. Our waiter, Chris, was a pro.
Could have been a great meal however the temps on both courses were Luke warm. Also really liked our server but he disappeared at times
The food On first glance is overpriced, but it's so filling and good that it's worth it. Also, the design is really cool.
Aritzen was "a find"! We had visited the formal dining room that formerly occupied its space in The Ritz Carlton, but this was our first visit to this new and delightful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety the menu offered, the quality of service was excellent, and the setting had a cozy feel to it.
Awesome place. Great food. My only feeedback is for the server to better understand their audience. Also the delay between courses was Disappointing. Can’t wait to go back as the interior design is exceptional, and they offer great cocktails. My entire table enjoyed their meal, and I am looking forward to our next visit!
Just had sort of an unbelievable experience. I took Therese to a very nice restaurant on Camelback called, “the Artizen Crafted American Kitchen”. This place had good reviews , located in a high end area full of expensive hotels. It seemed like a cool place to try. Anyway, it was a disaster!! Very nice looking place, but took forever to get our cappuccinos, server no where to be found, waiting for about a 1/2 hour for our meal, then they brought us the wrong thing, and then when we finally ate, it was cold and not very tasty. Incredible huh?? The hostess was so embarrassed that she comped our meal and comped us on a future meal. Yikes, probably won’t go back, even for a freebie.
Valentine’s Day menu has changed between time of making reservation a few days before and the dinner. One of 3 main courses had a change in the fish , as well. While the food was good, I like the regular menu better, but the VD menu was almost double in cost. I would recommend skipping the VD menu next year. More wait staff were needed as well.
Good location and quality.
Delicious food with well chosen wine pairings. Great service. Comfortable seating and gorgeous interior. We had a very pleasant evening.
Amazing food and service
This is a consistently good restaurant with interesting and very tasty menu options. Our entrees were delicious but the warm beet salad was exceptional. We have always had great and very attentive service. Our waiter for our last two visits was Jeff and he knows food and wine.
Service was great and the chef accommodated my food sensitivities. I had the shrimp and grits. The were spicy and flavorful.
Our waiter was exceptional.
Recent transplant from the Boston area
The food was excellent. We got the beet salad which was outstanding. As vegetarians the chef made a special entree which was excellent. Our server ( whom I don’t remember his name) was very friendly and made it a great experience. Would definitely go again.
We had a wonderful tapas style meal utilizing the starters menu. The best part was the wine recommendation from our waiter who had some sommelier training. The wine paired beautifully with our meal.
This place is UH-MAZ-ING! Came here when it first opened and it was meh. I kind of forgot about it but would do brunch here a couple times. But this past month, the dinner I had there was HANDS-DOWN one of the the best meals I have had in the valley.
Everyone needs to try the dinner menu. I am already jones-ing to go back. Good job Chef Singh. I am "singh-ing" your praises to anyone who will listen.
Lucky accident... My wife and I were going elsewhere but there was no parking so we went here since it was nearby. Very pleasanlty surprised. Exceptional food and service. We will be going back!
Fantastic food and probably the best service we’ve experienced in a very long time. Will definitely be back!!
Food was good and large could hardly get the sandwich in my mouth to take a bite.
Great food ! Accomplished chef ! Neighborhood gem !
We love the food, our server Jeff. Do not miss this restaurant .
I went for the fixed price Christmas dinner menu. Excellent. I had a starter salad of spring greens topped with a poached egg—which was tastier than it sounds. My main course was a file, although I could have had sole or duck confit. The steak was cooked to perfection and buttery tender. The dessert was passion fruit cheesecake. What I liked especially was that portions were European, not supersized. Even so, I ended up taking my dessert home. If I didn’t live so far away in the East Valley, I’d make this place a regular. But it is definitely a great place for a special occasion.
Christmas brunch. Food very good. Food stations scattered. Wait staff attentive. Had music but distracting for the occasion.—coffee house music
Nice quiet place on Christmas Day. The ambiance the food were very good, and better than expected. Both meals for breakfast were cooked to order and better than most dining establishments
The waitress was very good and she was attentive . Went out of her way to make a good experience even better.
Good luck Whitney with your endeavors.
Everyone in our group thought their meal was fabulous and we each had something different
Service was bad! Not many people were in the restaurant so I don't think they were as attentive as they should be. The hostess was no where to be found for a while so it took too long to be seated, the bartender ended up getting her for us. Then, the server took FOREVER to take our card and run it once the meal was over. It was clear we were done eating and left no indication otherwise. The food was good but doesn't make up for the bad service. Won't be back.
My husband and I liked the way the chef combined fresh-tasting ingredients of varied textures and tastes to make an attractive and interesting dish. We also liked the subtle classy decor.
Thanksgiving brunch - dinner. Very nice.
The food was superb, beyond what one might expect from a hotel restaurant. The chefs and cooks obviously have a passion for flavor.
Our service staff was also top notch, quick with a recommendation and able to make friendly conversation . We stayed for over two hours and not once did we feel rushed.
We feel fortunate to have come across this uniquely delicious dining experience.
Great location, service and food. Go to place for business meals, breakfast or lunch.
This was our first visit to the Artizen Restaurant (at least in its present incarnation) and it was wonderful for our 48th Anniversary celebration...Gorgeous room with a rich dark blue motif
and huge copper cloches over many of the tables for accent..Service was impeccable, food out-
standing, and noise level perfect for conversation...Manager checked with us at least three times to make certain everything was perfect..Nice touch...What more can I say, except we will be back. It will be excellent for our many out-of-town guests..
Thank you Artizen...
Our meal was great- delicious dishes, friendly service, and treats for our special occasion.
Went for brunch. The food was fabulous! Great service and gorgeous restaurant. All around highly recommend!
Tasty food and quite environment allows for easy conversations
We had not been to this restaurant since the Marriott took it over from the Ritz. The food was great and our waiter, who was new to town, was amazing. Very knowledgable and so helpful.
I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone!
The fish tacos are a great idea, but Grouper should not have a "fishy" smell. That means the fish is older, and should not have been sent out by the chef, nor delivered by the wait staff. The steak sandwich was average, - a bit tough, overcooked, and underseasoned. The Mac and Cheese that my 7 year old ordered was something he left behind, and normally never does that.
Great room, pleasant service, no need to go back
Excellent food and great service. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely go again
First time here and it was fantastic! The service was top notch and willing to answer any questions about menu items without being judgmental. Food was fenomenal! We will definitely be back!
Our waiter knew the menu, the kitchen and the wine list - and when to appear. Other staff replenished our water bottle and brought our meals. The Restaurant Week menu was artful proportioned will, and delicious! Thank you!
Came here to try their Restaurant Week menu and it was great! Made reservations for 8:30 but there was no wait. It's a little hard to find but the hotel that it's connected to has valet
