Artisanal Restaurant is open seasonally from May-October end. Contemporary American Fine Dining in a rustic yet elegant environment. Innovative and progressive thinking in a farm to table approach, only working with the highest quality ingredients. This warm environment offers the best food and wine with excellent service. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar available for events. The only available menu is a pre-fix style, with 2-3 choices per course, $95/ guest. We do not offer a kids menu however kids prepared to order off our pre-fix menu are welcome. Our Dress Code is Business Casual. Collared shirts are required, jackets are preferred but not required for men. No shorts, distressed jeans, hoodies, hats, or sandals/flip flops.     This was a wonderful experience. The ambiance is beautiful, the food is wonderful and the service was impeccable. Knowing it was our anniversary, they brought is complimentary champagne. It was incredible from start to finish.

    We always make reservations in the fall for Artisanal. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious~every course. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. We are looking forward to our next visit in 2024.

    Artisanal is the best restaurant in the state! We have been going there for the past 10 years, and we have never been disappointed with the the delicious food or the impeccable service. We refer to a meal there as a dining experience. We'll be back in the spring!

    Had a wonderful meal at Artisan--two vegetarians and a carnivore left very satisfied. Beautiful setting, amazing kitchen, worthy of any star chef, formal service. The food was extraordinary.

    A wonderful experience in a beautiful venue and location. Food was delicious and meticulously presented! Elegant but not stuffy! It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on every metric! Our server as well as the sommelier were personable, kind and efficient! And meeting the owner was a nice additional treat! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

    This was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Some people might say the menu is limited, or that it was very expensive, and they are correct. The thing is, its done that way on purpose and for good reason. The limited menu is so the chefs can concentrate on perfecting every meal, and they succeeded. It is expensive? Of course it is, its not Applebee's. This is a place for fine dining, but they pull it off in a way where you do not feel out of place if you have never been to a fine dining establishment before. The ambiance, the service, the actual dining area itself; all of it was impeccable and I can not wait for another big occasion to come around so I have excuse to go back.

    What an outstanding experience! From valet, service, drink, food and overall vibe. Mandy was our server and she was incredible. Great personality, helpful suggestions and incredibly attentive. And we were celebrating a birthday and we picked the perfect place. This is one of the most memorable dining experiences we have ever had. So worth the splurge.

    Have not been there in a few years. They’ve gone to a price fix menu which doesn’t give you any options. It’s just not the way that it used to be. Was really the best restaurant in North Carolina but now it’s just overpriced and OK. Desserts were not edible.

    The remote location adds to the beauty and ambiance of this restaurant. With a full view of the kitchen, we were impressed by how calm and smoothly the kitchen was managed. The wait staff is very attentive and professional. The food is AMAZING! This restaurant is in my top 5 for overall dining experiences.

    This was our second time visiting Artisinal and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, fresh and well prepared. The drinks also very good. The staff attentive (maybe a little too much) but we did not feel rushed. No doubt we will be back!

    One of our best meals in North Carolina. We will definitely be back. Service was up to Michelin standards, the food was amazing. Jeff, the Sommelier made an outstanding recommendation that worked so well with the menu. Do not hesitate to ask for his help. He knows his wine list and will not steer you wrong. Might be the best restaurant in the state.
