Went for breakfast. Waiter seemed annoyed we didn't want the buffet. Brought our food. Never checked back. Has to flag down the maitre d to get the check after waiting 10 min of sitting there with empty glasses and utensils on plates.
In a word...terrible. Coffee was cold, fries undercooked, etc. I’m not sure how you can screw up a salad, but serving it on a narrow wooden plank and dousing it in dressing is a recipe for disaster. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.
Fantastic Service, affordability, and atmosphere!
I will be going again!
Great food, great service and we even got desert and tea on the house. That was really awesome.
Lunch - steak and cheese was excellent; green beans were very tasty.
The restaurant had a special three course Xmas menu. I’m thinking of making this an annual tradition it was so delicious. The pumpkin ale bisque appetizer was unique and so tasty. Then two of us chose the breast of turkey slices, buttermilk mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy, and green beans, beautifully seasoned. And one friend had the prime rib entree perfectly cooked with mushrooms, polenta and Brussel sprouts. We took pictures; the dishes were so gorgeous. And each of us had the pumpkin and apple pie dessert with a dollop of cinnamon cream - again, just beautiful and delicious.
Waiters need to learn some manners and make a real effort to earn their tip!!
The food is extremely salty and the restaurant is in the hotel lobby.
The most unexpectedly delicious omelette ever. Going back tomorrow! Yum...
A very nice atmosphere. We did, however, have to contend with a screaming baby at the front desk. Otherwise, the staff was very polite and attentive.
We had a wonderful and relaxing dinner! Service was attentive and the food was tasty.
Pleasantly surprised as to what a good meal we had. Highly recommend the salmon dish.
We stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the bar food, room service, and especially the breakfast buffet and Thanksgiving lunch. The servers, hosts and chefs were lovely people and made us feel at home, especially on a holiday away from family.
The restaurant menu has a lot of variety and delicious options. I was dining with my parents and we all have different eating styles/preferences. I was able to find a few different dishes I wanted to try and my parents were happy to have options, too.
I arrived promptly on time for my reservation and was greeted immediately. The restaurant is open in the lobby of the hotel, which has vast ceilings and noise was bouncing off the walls. There are no privacy walls for the restaurant so the lobby noise is shared with the restaurant. Open concept.
Our server was on top of it, which is always a great thing. My mom, who is an adamant Diet Coke drinker, did not see the bottom of her glass. My water was constantly filled. Food came out promptly and dishes were cleared quickly upon finishing our food.
The food was delicious and met expectations. Mom had the crab cake sandwich - which the slaw was not a favored addition in her opinion. My dad got the ribeye which was cooked perfectly medium well. And I got the crab Alfredo, which was good and filling. The apple pie a la mode was the dessert of choice to be split, and we were content. It’s a large slice so it was perfect for sharing. No complains about the food but also nothing to rave about.
Overall, I’d come back and try a new dish. I’m happy to know it’s a safe bet for my family and all of our preferences.
Good food. The server didnt pay much attention to us but the houseman was wonderful. It was a little loud but quiet enough for conversation.
Surprisingly good for a restaurant located in the Hyatt. The daily special was quality and the service pretty good too.
This restaurant was great. We loved the food and thought the staff was amazing. All the waiter were incredible, but Dong and Hue stood out. They were all so accommodating and attentive. We would definitely go back for the delicious food and amazing service.
Good food, good service. Would not have gone if I had known it was in a hotel lobby.
Excellent filet mignon. Our server, Do, was fabulous.
After a morning of exuberant t tours, we were looking for a family friendly lunch. Article One saved the day! We took an uber and we're surprised it was in the Hyatt Hotel but not disappointed. The server and chef were accommodating to our picky eaters. It's off the mall so not as crowded or noisy. It was just what we needed to refresh for the rest of our day.
Good food slow service overall good for a hotel facility.Friendly staff.
The food was good, but not prepared the way we ordered. The drinks were on the weaker side.
Easter. $55 per person was not worth the food.
Food was so-so, but dessert was good.
This restaurant is located in the Hyatt. Excellent service and food starting with some delicious artisan bread. Signature bean soup was memorable as was fettuccine and the Cobb salad.
Okay/decent food, but super overpriced and mediocre service. Waiter failed to give a drink menu and gave me my check a few minutes into the meal! Definitely wouldn't recommend.
We really enjoyed our experience at Article One. The menu was very approachable but had a few fun twists for adventurous diners. Our server Larry was charming and easily made conversation with us.
Excellent food for the value - for groups only, as salads and entrees must be shared.
Everything was perfectly fine, nothing special.
Not as good as it should be for how expensive it is probably wont go back
The service was excellence. The food was fabulous ..
Hotel restaurant. Located in open lobby area. Good service. Ok food.
The service was great.I'm glad they added chicken sausage the menu for those that don't eat beef or pork.
Great spot to meet for lunch. The Crab Salad was fresh, filling and very tasty.
My wife and I had the breakfast buffet and enjoyed it very much. The price is a little steep for a basic breakfast, but it's more than that. The buffet features an omelet station with several different options, a number of buffet meat and egg choices, plenty of fruits and cereal, and a number of other excellent options.
The service staff were friendly and efficient and we felt we could eat at a comfortable pace.
My salad was good. I got the same risotto and it was gelatinous and disgusting flavored.
The place was vacant but extremely noisy being in an open lobby where kids and conference goers were coming and going...
The food took forever which was strange we were the only ones there... And though the waiters were pleasant they were disheveled. It was pretty ridiculous.
Brunch selection was limited, not a lot to choose from. The salad bar was disappointing, only greens and a few vegetables and fruits. The price was too high considering the limited selection.
I was visiting DC and had some Hyatt Rewards points to use up. Thought I would take my husband out for an early Valentines dinner, and chose American Grill. Points were confusing to use, but they did honor them. The food was delicious but probably a bit high if I were not using reward points. Service, impeccable. Ambiance, maybe for a work gathering or convention group but for a romantic dinner for two, pretty brightly lit and no music, soft romantic or otherwise. I thought even the Hyatt could have had a grand piano playing or p[perhaps a harp in the lobby near the restaurant, but nothing.
Good food for brunch
