   extremely slow service waited almost an hour for olives & bread !!! food was average, over cooked fish & cold chips, not great value.

   Amazing food will be returning! service was very slow had to remind the waitress few times for drinks ordered and condements which was frustrating. With this said she was friendly and apologitic.

   we went for breakfast, which was lovely. We stayed for over two hours and no one rushed us out which was great. Service could have been a little more attentive, and had to ask for a clean cup when tea cups came to us dirty. overall good brunch experience.

   A little disorganised seating us when we arrived. Waited quite a while for anyone to serve us - had to ask someone for drinks. When the waitress did arrive, she was very friendly. The food was good, good for a pub but not by restaurant standards. Service was slow and inattentive all through the evening. The setting and ambience is chilled and we enjoyed it. It's local so we like and will be back it but wouldn't come from far and wide to try it.

   As my mother is a vegatarian she is always difficult to please and finds some vegetarian food bland as was the case today also swimming in grease as she puts it. I had sALad but unfortunately the cabbage was old and not fresh as for the pak choi you could not see it.

   The service and food were excellent. The toilets were kept very clean and well stocked.

   We had a lovely roast dinner at the Artichoke and I would highly recommend it. The service was prompt and efficient and the food was very tasty. It's a lovely setting and we had a great table looking out over the green. A perfect Sunday lunch!

    This was my first visit after being recommended to eat here. The food was STUNNING and so well presented. One of the best Sunday Roasts I've ever had at a restaurant. The dessert I had (creme brulee) was a disappointment however, it has raspberries in which wasn't stated on the menu, and it said it came with Shortbread, but it came with a different crunchie biscuit thing. However, the rest of the food was so great I wouldn't hesitate to come again!
