Overall very good. Love this place!
First night as a free man
Fantastic food and great service for my wife’s birthday dinner. My stuffed salmon was very good, as was my wife’s filet. The escargot appetizers were incredible, with some nice garlic butter to dip your bread into. The band playing music in the lounge was very good as well.
We’ll be back!
Like bad banquet food. Uninspired iceberg salad, super dry turkey, watery sweet potatoes, hard shrimp, tasteless sauce. Our waiter was excellent at least. I had heard some of Steve Fields, our special occasion standby, staff came here so I had high hopes. It is no Steve Fields.
We had a great experience. Dinner in the dinning room followed by cocktails in the bar with love music. The space is well separated so you don’t hear the music in the dinning room. Food was 5 star and definitely will return.
Our favorite place to dine. The food is always good and the service is great. It's quiet. No need to yell to be hears. I highly recommend.
Service and food were excellent. Wife had Crab Cake and Salad and I had the 12 oz Filet. Food was hot and delicious. The only challenge is the parking is difficult and they do not offer Valet.
It is a pleasure to eat in a space that has character and interest. Too many restaurants are just a big box with loads of tables but not Arthur's! From the Fish tanks that line a wall to the private dinning spaces, and the large festive bar, there is something to look at and be taken with. It has an old style charm that is missing in most other places, in my experience. Love love the Champagne soup! You must try it!
The service was excellent and friendly staff. Always went 1 step ahead of us. The seafood were excellent along with the side dishes. I loved my scallops with celery root. And the apple cobbler was huge and caused me to want to come back soon.
The food was WONDERFUL and the service was fantastic.
Everything from start to finish was perfect. From the bartenders excellent martini to a beautiful corner booth in the main dining room, excellent service by Richard - favorite waiter -and beautifully prepared veal, beef, and fish dishes. Leisurely paced and well thought out spacing between the courses. Excellent place to hold conversations. Highly recommended
One of my very favorite places! Has been for years!
Great food but cocktails were less than spectacular.
The food was good. The service was good. We even got a seat next to an aquarium, which was nice. My only issue was with the racket the band was making in the cocktail bar nearby. We booked a 7:30PM reservation and a band cranked up in the restuarant's bar around 9:00. If I had known they did live music, I would have booked an earlier reservation. I did not expect to dine at a reasonably expensive steakhouse and listen to a loud lounge act.
Birthday. Bit noisy from the bar/nightclub side
We LOVE the food, but more importantly we love the service! We feel well-treated and important we can dine here.
Was not impressed given their prices and would likely not return for dinner but the bar was fun!
Great experience! Costumer Service, exceptional!! Although we would have loved to have seen a more diverse atmosphere amongst employees and customers, we had a beautiful evening dinning.
We were really excited with the dining room. The welcoming group was a special touch. The waiter had a strong foreign accent and made it near impossible to understand what he was saying. He cut corners on the service. It would have made a difference in our order if he told us which potato came with the meal. So he made a difference in the total price. Unfortunately for him, we tip extra for good service. The quality of the meal definitely was not worth the money.
Everything was wonderful!
CONSISTENTLY ONE OF THE BEST IN THE METROPLEX!
OUR "GO TO" FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND GOOD TIMES.
Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere we will be back
What a lovely evening! Since the new GM Jeff Bradford has joined Arthur’s, there have been subtle changes that are really nice. Valet! Yay! A musician was playing beautiful music softly in the background.
It was an eclectic group of guests from a group of teenagers for a special event to large groups toasting and enjoying themselves.
I was especially impressed watching a server help the teenagers. He was superb and obviously wanted them to experience what fine dining truly is.
I had the Dover sole and it was cooked to perfection.
Definitely a great Saturday night out!
First time for our friends. They love it. Rich did a great job as always.
My wife and I went to Arthur's as a date night. They put us at a table that was very tight to the next table. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail, $15 and you only get 3 Shrimps that had zero flavor. I ordered a Wedge Salad for $10, this was just cut Iceberg lettuce with Blue Cheese Dressing … that was it. Then my ordered a Filet, the plate had grease in it from the Filet, it was disgusting. I have never seen a Filet greasy before. For spending $130, this was not worth it at all. The service was slow. Not good
Arthur’s has Old World charm right in the heart of Addison. The ambiance is lovely with many beautiful fish tanks.
The service is impeccable.
The food is divine. We had escargot prepared in garlic butter. Delicious.
The salad offerings are unique. So we are going to try all of them! I had a beautifully prepared red fish and my husband a steak. He was pleased!
The new GM Jeff is the former GM of Steve Fields which closed recently. We’ll definitely put Arthur’s on our dining rotation.
We had an incredible 40th anniversary dinner at Arthur’s and enjoyed every minute of our visit. The service was impeccable, the martinis wonderful and our meals were perfectly cooked and delicious. There were no “take home” boxes on this visit. We will be back again soon.
Food was great. Server was very detailed oriented. Service was great and the atmosphere was very chill.
Food takes a little longer to get served but was worth the wait.
Very good restaurant, I went with my husband for a date night and the food and service were great! Definitely recommend. The ribeye was especially good
Enjoyed our dining experience. All the staff was very attentive. Thank you Richard, our waiter.
This was a wonderful place to eat. The restaurant was beautiful and our waiter was wonderful! The food was amazing. We will go again!!
Oscar. Steak was not up to 38$ steak! Caesar Salad was not good or tasty at all! Ambiance and service excellant!
I never really write reviews, yet felt compelled to to do so. I made this reservation for a party of 6 and my best friends birthday celebration. We read so many good reviews. So here is our take. The food was good, not outstanding as we had hoped for. Our waiter was not very attentive with water refills etc Was very rushed in taking our order and seemed a little frazzled in a dining room with many empty tables. The most notable thing, a frosted glass was presented for my martini. Three of us noticed something on the glass (food particle) I asked for a new glass and the waiter made an excuse “oh that was from some food I was carrying, it's okay” He then tried to rub it off the glass and he then realized in was in the inside not outside of the glass, he proceeded to put his thumb inside and was scraping it off with his nail 😳 This particle was deep into the glass, near the liquor line! WHAT!? He did not seem happy I requested a new glass! The food. Our steaks were not cooked to our request very rare & three of us requested medium, warm pink center. So all in all, we were all pretty disappointed in our experience. We dine together weekly and have not had an experience like this. We are not complainers in any way. We actually never complain. The few things I mentioned just a small sample of other things that happened. Felt I needed to be honest here.
We tried Arthur's out during resturant week. The descriptions of the items in their menu sounded delicious. When we got there it was like going back in time and not necessarily in a good way. The food was okay, but not seasoned well. It seemed like they were serving food in a retirement community. Everything was just kind of bland. Overall it was just an ok experience, but we likely won't be going back.
My fiancé and I went after work - it was casual Friday for me so l looked like Ms. Fizzle in blue and green while my fiancé looked as if he left Hawaii earlier in the day. Needless to say, we didn’t meet the dress attire (never stopped Us from enjoying dinner before). I believe our server may have been new so service was not the fastest. Getting food orders took a few beats, receiving the different courses took more than a moment to receive, and at times it left me wondering where the food was OR AT THE VERY END, our check. The check took so long to receive. My goodness. All and all, the food was nice. The Rockefeller Oysters were BOMB and I’d order them again even-though I’m not much of an oyster fan.
Overall, thank you for making our meal nice.
We visited Arthur’s during restaurant week. The food was quite good but the entrees were not what I’m use to at Arthur’s. The champagne brie soup was fabulous as ever. The service is the best of all Addison restaurants. Best atmosphere. Just wish they would enforce a dress code. It’s ok to refuse seating people who are rude enough to show up in shorts and flip flops.
Ate this time from the Restaurant Week menu. Fantastic menu with many choices. Portions were generous and the price was great. Service was impeccable as it always is. They also do great Martinis.
I made reservations for dinner for two. Unfortunately, I was thinking I made them for a different night. (Call it old age.) I even printed out my confirmation, but did not look at/or read it until we pulled up in front of the restaurant. We took a chance and went inside. I explained to the Maitre d' my absentminded blunder, apologized for not showing up the night before, and asked if he had room for us for dinner. With a smile, he lead us to the dining room to be seated. Our service was wonderful. Compliments to the chef for our outstanding meals. We have had dinner at Authur's, before. After dinner, we had always enjoyed going into the lounge for live music, an after-dinner drink, and a smoke (recommended by our waiter at the time). So, we were a bit disappointed that there is no longer any smoking in the lounge. Some of us older citizens just cannot kick the habit. At any rate, I HIGHLY recommend Authur's for great food, and a nice night out.
Great food. Excellent service. Good wine list. As always, Arthur’s offers an awesome dining experience. The watermelon salad was wonderful as was the steak & salmon.
