Artful Gourmet Bistro Ratings and Reviews
We went for a light, early evening meal. Each of us ordered an appetizer, and a salad. The calamari is always tender and delicious, as are the mussels. To my surprise, this time the mussels, while a very generous portion, were tiny - very little meat, but a terrific sauce. All of their salads are excellent, and they never disappoint.
This is my second time eating at the Artful Gourmet and all I can say is that we need to eat here more often. The dishes are very well prepared, seasoned perfectly, and very pleasing to the eye. I ate the paella (called The Last Supper on their menu). My partner had the Pieta (similar to an eggplant parmegian). Also the Nouveau Salad was a delicious way to start the meal. And you'll love the fresh baked, hot dinner rolls with dipping oil. While we didn't order dessert, we spied several sumptuous looking dishes at the table next to us: carrot cake, chocolate cake?, chocolate lava cake nestled in a mountain of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream (next time).
We have been here many times. Our visits have all been good ones as was this latest. We both had soup and a salad for our meal. The soups were good and the salads we ordered were good and large enough for a complete meal. The soups this visit were butternut squash and seafood soup. My wife tried the Pumpkin Beer which was the special. I tried the spicy margarita. Both were very good. We did not get dessert because we both were full with the soup & salad. Our waitress was very good.
Ordered well done lamb, meat came back red. Tried to correct, but still not to my husband's liking. He left more than he ate. No birthday recognition even though it was noted during making reservations for my husband's birthday. Hostess said she didn't know. Bistro Breeze drink was smooth and delicious. Mashed potatoes excellent. Overall, food was very satisfying.
Tyler and his crew did a great job keeping our water glasses full and our food all came out of kitchen nice and hot. My steak was absolutely delicious and tasted better than Ruth Chris! The manager checked on us throughout the entire time we were there without hovering. Great place!!!
Came Saturday for dinner during the summer restaurant week. This was a gathering of friends celebrating a birthday and just plain fellowship. The entire special menu was well planned. The foods we ordered exceeded all of our palates expectations. Our waitress made our stay very enjoyable. Kudos Artful Gourmet Bistro, we'll see you soon!
P.S. The fried green tomatoes were divine...Thank you from four giggling gals...
