Art of the Table
Our experience was outstanding.
The food was wonderful. (NOTE to planners: It is recommended to allow 2.5 hours for their regular full tasting menu.)
The service was equally amazing.
We would recommend this place without hesitation (as long as you have the budget for it).
We will be back!
This is a place to celebrate something special. The service was exceptional. Did the 7 course menu which is a little pricey based on the experience. Food is good and very artistic. It is like a journey. Some of the ingredients you might have never tasted and taste is not developed so you might not like it. Their cocktails are exceptional and NOT pricey at all. ($12 for a drink!) I felt that they tried to combine an elevated food journey with a modern bar setting. They should keep their target audience separate to capture this niche market.
Exceptional service with friendly staff, courses were brought out at perfect intervals. Each course was well done with solid presentation. Very enjoyable experience.
We had an awesome anniversary dinner experience at Art of the Table. We recommend to those who want to have a culinary experience of a lifetime.
Absolutely amazing in every way.
Had the tasting menu while seated at at the bar. 7 courses of food and 4 of them were too salty. Not worth the 125 price tag. Service and ambience was nice though.
Outstanding food and service, but extremely expensive, any way you slice it.
Counter service was cool. You could see them make your food!
A foodies dream. Service was outstanding.
I've gone to Art of the Table in the old days when it was a one-chef show. I've done the a la carte menu. And I've done the tasting menus. They are all terrific. But I think the concept shines with the tasting menus. Our dinner last weekend was amazing - every note hit perfectly, every unlikely combination sang, service impeccable and setting lovely. This is our go to special occasion or just plain special dinner spot. It will remain so. Great job.
Great place to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Food came out with our pairings a bit slow, but not a big deal. Overall a great (albeit pricey) experience!
It was pretty expensive for the tasting menu that underperformed in our opinion. An enjoyable experience though!
What a gem! Novel culinary ideas sourced from local vendors. Amazing food and service!
Excellent .... There were three of us having dinner, one having a vegan menu. One of us also had the wine pairing. Every dish was exceptional; the service was competent and attentive, the wine pairing was spot on, and the whole evening was very nice.
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary - we had the tasting menu w/ wine pairing. We are GF and they graciously accommodated. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were very well thought out and complemented each dish nicely. We did notice that the dishes seemed to be coming a bit slowly - a minor detraction and certainly not significant enough to prevent us from recommending for that special evening out.
We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Atmosphere is conducive to conversation. Our waiter was attentive and conversational, not overbearing and did an excellent job presenting the courses. He was also the guy who made our delicious and creative cocktails. We didn’t do the pairings but did get two glasses of wine, a rosé and a Pinot. The owner/chef is a genius with food. Every course was cooked and presented perfectly. He visited us at our table and he was casual, friendly and obviously very proud of his food. Portions are enough but not too much. Very reasonably priced for what you get and we both would definitely return.
For the price, you're far better off just going to Canlis. With the exception of one or two dishes, the majority of the food served was highly underwhelming. I might even go as far as to say that a few of the flavor combinations were borderline repulsive. The wait staff is attentive, maybe too much so though. One of the waiters actually had the nerve to hit on my date when I stepped away to go to the restroom. I really don't appreciate the lack of professionalism. It's highly offensive.
I had high hopes for this place but was sorely disappointed. Please spend your money elsewhere.
I went with friends this time, and as always, the experience was fabulous! Art of the Table is welcoming and the food is always amazing. It's an experience and I do my best to eat here whenever I'm in town. Thank you!
When went to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary and it was one of the top meals we have ever eaten!
Such an exquisite dining experience! The food, flavors, service, presentation, are all amazing. We had a 7 course chefs tasting menu and everything was fantastic!
Great food and service! They change the menu daily according to the seasonal ingredient. The food is elegant and delicious. I have to catch the flight in 2.5 hr, and they adjust the menu and get me out on time perfectly (without feeling rushed). Note that they only have tasting menu in the dining area.
Visited here during my vacation to Seattle. Was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was spectacular from food to service to pacing. A perfect combination of polished dinner service and seasonal cuisine. Can’t wait to come back the next time I visit.
Some of the items were delicious and made me wish I could order more! The wine pairings were also fabulous and rare. A couple dishes were just good, but at the high price point, I'd expect them all to knock me out of the park. Overall it was a highly enjoyable special occasion restaurant.
One of the best meals I’ve had in Seattle
It was great experience.
It was a great food adventure - so many amazing and delicious combinations of flavors, all from local and sustainable sources. But I would have liked a little more food for the price.
Art of the Table staff, specifically Lilly, Taylor, and Alex, made our night dining in very special as it was our last dinner before my brother and his girlfriend returned home. The food was extremely delicious, and the service and overall environment were outstanding. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience.
Overall, the worst flavor combinations of any restaurant I’ve been to. Quality was high and preparation was expert, but taste was miserable.
And the pacing between courses was painfully slow.
Otherwise, staff was very knowledgable, warm and friendly.
The combination of the food didn’t completely match.
I was impressed by the culinary techniques, but much was left to be desired for the taste of the dishes.
The value left much to be desired and the length of time between dishes was horrible.
Would not tell anyone to try this as this dinning experience was extremely expensive for what was offered.
Unfortunately this was not a 5 or 4 star experience.
We were there to celebrate a birthday. The service was great and so were all the courses.
Great meal. A bit pricy but good for a special occasion
I went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The overall service was too slow with too much time waiting between the meal courses. I was promised some complimentary celebration for my wife's birthday. I was at least hoping for a small cake with a candle. All they did is bring up my dessert with a candle standing on the side. It ruined an already average experience at the restaurant. I would rather go to other restaurant with similar price tags if I need to choose again.
My wife and I visited Seattle for our vacation. My 30th birthday happened to fall on the same week. I researched the area and knew AOT was going to be my birthday dinner. It was superb!! The food and service went beyond our expectations! We work in the hospitality industry, and both really admired the team work they provided. Everyone helps each other which helps maintain the efficacy of the staff. This was a perfect dinner to welcome my third decade on this planet!
Anniversary dinner which was great - special treat.
We have been to Dustin Ronspies’ work of love and art “Art of the Table” many times and it is always an amazing experience - visually and taste-wise. Every course is a delight. We always pick our favorite dish at the end of the meal and it is not easy. Last night, the Wagyu brisket was the winner, but it barely edged out a simple fresh tomato dish that tasted like heaven, and one single, perfectly presented tiny oyster. Again we can’t wait to return. We always request seats at the chef’s counter, which adds to the experience by allowing us to watch the sous chefs and line chefs meticulously prepare each course. Part of the experience is the servers describing every dish when they present them. If you haven’t been to AOTT, you must visit!
Three of the dishes were way too salty. I just didn’t feel the value for the money. The service was wonderful. However my friend loved it so it might just be good for some and not for others.
FANTASTIC! Dustin continues to deliver creative, thoughtful, balanced and unique dishes. The wine pairing was just as good.
It had been some time since we had been back to Art of the Table. We had enjoyed their previous location but it was smaller and the new space is larger and more modern. The food as always is a special treat. We did the 7 course tasting menu and enjoyed every one. This is not your ordinary restaurant experience. They are several levels above any other. The courses are small but each one is meticulously prepared and they are truly art. Service was impeccable, attentive but not obtrusive. For a special occasion I could not recommend this more highly.
Birthday party for 7, took over 3 hours. Bought 2 bottles of wine, and brought another 2. Wanted to charge me $60 corkage fee on top of the $1580 bill. Told the manager I wouldn't pay the extra $60 and it deescalated from there. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Won't go back.
