Works of art on the plate with outstanding wines and friendly service. Several dishes were “fastastic” some were very good, dessert was extraordinary. Pricey splurge for a special occasion.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Art of the Table!
It was a truly pleasant experience with excellent food, great cocktails and relaxed atmosphere!
Great dinner! Would recommend anyone looking for an upscale evening.
This was an amazing experience! The staff is top notch and know how to take care of guests. Each course was flavorful, balanced, and delicious. The spacing was done so you were never rushed and instead felt like a meal among friends. The care and concern for guest safety was obvious and provided great confidence. My wife loved the short rib while I loved the foie gras but both were tremendous! Finally the dessert was the best I have had. Not too sweet, the use of apples provided a wonderful splash among the rhubarb and almond. We can’t wait to come back again!
Amazing! Only nit is my husband had a view of parked cars.
I thought the five course tasting menu was terrific. I live four blocks away and have always wanted to dine at Art of the Table but could never afford it. Out of the five courses (vegetarian menu), four were five-star, couldn't be beat- beautifully presented, with a mixture of tastes that was a thrilling gustatorial experience. The amuse bouche- *, the dessert *- But the 4th course- some kind of vegetarian tamale with mushrooms?- looked fine but taste somewhere around a 2.5 or 3.... I left most of it on my plate (and the servings are not huge.) It always gets me- How can a classy restaurant like Art of the Table have 4 courses plus and have 85 to 90 percent be spectacular, and then one dish that is really unacceptable for a fine restaurant. I hope to go again and have all five courses be terrific. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. next time, I would send the dish at fault back to the kitchen and ask for something else.
Art of the Table is A+ every time. The plating is beautiful, menu is inventive, and food is phenomenal. One of the best restaurants in the city!
It was my first time dining at The Art of the Table, and it will not be my last. The food was delectable. The service was phenomenal. Two out of the three in our party opted for the wine pairings, with each pair tasting like soulmates— highly recommend! It was my 30th birthday and my family had come from out of town to see me, so we had a lot to talk about. The service wait patiently as we took some time to finish. It felt kind and genuine, and I did not feel rushed. I had called ahead of time to let them know I was pescatarian, and they assured me they could create dishes suited to my diet. They did. And I am so happy I had called ahead of time to ask, as I was not disappointed by any means. I’ve told any one who’s asked (and those who have not) that they ~*must*~ experience your restaurant’s exquisite food and service. 10/10. Thank you!
Every single meal we have had at Art of the Table has been outstanding. The service is amazing, the food is absolutely divine and well curated and the ambiance is cozy yet chic. We have been coming to Art of the Table since 2015 and have never been disappointed in the take out or the in dining experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
This place is simply the best. Canlis, look out!!!
One of our favorite special-occasion restaurants in the city. This place is always worth it.
AOTT is our #1 favorite special restaurant in Seattle. We have never had anything less than an outstanding experience and a perfectly remarkable and memorable meal. Chef Dustin is a magician with ingredients. We love that we are given a printed menu of what is included in each course. We are already thinking about our next visit....Russ and Kim Addy
We did not choose the wine pairing; the selection of glasses available was slim and the two I tried were so crappy it detracted from an otherwise quaint tasting menu. I would describe the only red as water with red food coloring. The cocktail I chose to start was likewise a detriment to the experience.
Beautiful plates, kind wait staff and very full by the time you leave. Great experience-
The service was great the food was above average but less than the price I paid. I don’t understand the obsession with fennel now a days because it was in everything. Also, an old fashion with half the glass ice and strong taste of cinnamon is NOT an old fashion. Overall above average but over valued. Solid ambiance, excellent accommodating service.
The dinner was outstanding. We chose to not make any choices and ordered the pairings with the dinner. We were sat promptly and we were attended to very well. You definitely get what you pay for here. The smoked muscles were AMAZING!!!!!
We will absolutely be back.
Russell was our server and he was superb. Two of the ingredients used were things that I avoid because I generally can't stand them, but I ate every bite of both dishes. That's the highest compliment that I can give a chef! I visited while they were at 25% capacity. I definitely felt that they were taking better precautions than other places that I visited in Seattle, during the same week. The food and service were top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant!
It was great from beginning to end. Best meal I ha e had so far in Seattle!!
Phenomenal food, wine pairing & service
Wow!!! What an amazing dining experience. I took my wife out for a date, and we did the wine pairing which was great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about every dish and wine selection. The ambiance was very quiet and intimate... but best of all... The food! Everything we had was amazing.
Amazing food!! Missed this place and others like them so much. Not the value for the money it was pre-pandemic, but happy to support such an amazing restaurant through these times.
Beautifully displayed food with variety of dishes that titillated my palette. Thanks you!
Food and overall experience was amazing. The meal was exquisitely executed and every course was perfect. My only complaint would be that the wine pairings (while also wisely chosen) were not explained with any level of knowledge.
Will absolutely be coming back.
Went for Seattle Restaurant Week and I thought it was well worth the price and value of the food. Service was top notch and super helpful. The restaurant was setup very well for post-COVID restrictions and guidelines. I think the food was delicious except that my rice (with rockfish) was cold and the guac and chips were average; however, everything else was great! Even the wine which was only $36/bottle!
The food at Art of the Table is hands down the best in Seattle. It can compete with any place in LA, SF or NYC.
can't wait to go back.
Amazing staff and a beautiful room to dine in too
The hostess informed us that we must have our mask on even if we are sitting at our table if we aren’t eating or drinking. This made conversation awkward. They informed us before we even got to look at the menu that we have the table until 6-6:30. They got our order wrong. Their churros was brown on the outside and dough on the inside which means oil was too hot. Overall, would not recommend. Over hyped. Terrible dining experience.
What a lovely spot! The food was so creative and I can't wait to go back and try the different menus. Great to find a spot in Seattle where parking is not a huge hassle. Cocktail (Oaxacan Old Fashioned) was yummy. I think it was all super creative and I'm glad to try so many cool things.
Went for restaurant week. The theme was Mexican. I was underwhelmed.
The food was frozen, or not as a good as I remember it.
Amazing food! Excellent presentation and a beautiful ambience! Definitely check out their ‘Seattle Restaurant week’ menu.
They've gone to great efforts to safely reopen during the pandemic. The food is incredible and they have an adorable shop that you can take to-go.
Did the seven course tasting menu. Each of the courses was creative and delicious. The service was top notch, and the quality of the overall experience made for a memorable birthday dinner out! Would definitely recommend for a special dinner out.
Amazing experience, fabulous interesting new food, and great service! Went for a special occasion and did the tasting menu with the pairings and loved every course!
Absolutely fantastic! We went for a birthday dinner and coudn't have been more pleased! Everyone made us feel as if we were old friends!
I brought a work colleague here after a long work day, and no, it wasn't a business dinner. I wanted to 'show off' Seattle to someone that lives in NYC and has experienced great cuisine all over the world. Long ago I had been to the original Art of the Table - the one just a few blocks from the current one - and it was a cool experience. I'd not been to the new location and didn't really know what to expect. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. There is no loud music making conversation difficult. The bar seating is great if you want to watch food preparation, and I would recommend it. The menu is interesting, and has a choice of 7-course fixed price or a la carte. The a la carte menu shares some dishes and the fix prix menu, but not all. They can accommodate vegans and, given their kitchen talents, probably any food restrictions. We both chose the fix prix menu with the wine pairing, so that is just over two hundred per person, before tip and tax. I believe they brought us three amuse bouches. One was an oyster, and I am not a fan of oysters. It wasn't bad. In fact, nothing we were served was bad. However, very little that we had was truly great...in fact, I think it was an amuse bouche that really stood out. The dishes were all beautiful, colorful, extremely well described to us, and properly cooked. The problem is that most of them were good, and the wine pairings were good, but they just were not worth the overall cost of the meal. For example, I had many meals at Rovers over the years, so very similar price and number of courses. Rovers never disappointed, and I always felt that I got my money's worth. This was not the case at AoTT. In my opinion (as a foodie and wine collector) the meal should be $25 less and the wine pairings should be $20-25 less. They are not serving expensive wines, and the pours are rather frugal. The tip was added on for me without my input. I felt disappointed by the total when the bill came, not 'yep! worth every penny!'
Had an amazing birthday dinner here! Every dish was unique and delicious, but my favorites were the halibut and the final dessert course. Would definitely go back!
Absolutely incredible. Chef made amazing dishes perfectly curated to my table's allergies/restrictions. More than worth it!!
Wow!! What a wonderful culinary experience we had recently at Art of the Table! I was visiting my daughter and her boyfriend. They had heard about this restaurant and wanted to try it. We opted to go with the "small plates" option instead of the tasting menu. All of the items ordered were presented beautifully and tasted truly amazing. Start to finish, every dish was delicious and artfully prepared/presented. Our server, LeeAnn, was very well versed in the menu options and was a delight! We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again soon. Don't hesitate to add this restaurant to the list of favorites in Fremont area!!!
very rigid about the tasting menu requirement and the small plates menu was quite limited and the portions were tiny.
