Another great dinner at the best restaurant in Santa Fe.
A bit of a drive from Santa Fe but well worth it. The service was impeccable, the food inspired and all delivered in a nice quiet, modern, low key setting. The cheese plate was a great selection, the tuna appetizer special outstanding, the short rib excellent but the bananas foster bread pudding was to die for! We would go back in a heartbeat! Well done!
Great evening with awesome food and wine. And the cocktails...maybe the best place for craft cocktails in Santa Fe!
another great meal and service during restaurant week.
Fancy upscale dining a little out of town. Great wine and food!
Hadn't been to Arroyo Vino in a couple months so we booked a table for four during Santa Fe Restaurant week. The menu was a fixed price for three courses with three choices per course. The Brussel sprouts were fabulous as a starter. They were tender and somewhat charred but excellent. I had the oyster chowder as a first and the lamb tenderloin as my second. Both were outstanding. My wife's risotto as a second was very good and the lobster as a second was also top shelf. I hope management will add the brussel sprouts as well as the lamb to their every day menu.
Great meal for Santa Fe Restaurant Week. Great food and great service. We loved the shared cheese and charcuterie plates that the four of us shared to start with. A very pleasant evening and worth the price!
The appetizers and firsts were excellent, but the sole meunière and the duck entrees were inedible. The sole tasted like it had been marinated in liquid smoke and the duck tasted off. We ordered a bottle of wine, and sent it back after the server poured a taste because it was not at all what the sommelier had described. The server turned on her heels and walked away when we declined the bottle and sent someone else over to deal with us. As it turns out, the server had uncorked the wrong bottle of wine! When the sommelier poured the correct wine, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall rather disappointing , between the brusque service and the truly awful entrees.
Arroyo Vino continues to excel. Fresh local ingredients, many interesting and good menu choices, outstanding wine list, attentive but not intrusive service. Has full bar service. I have never felt rushed. Not your ordinary restaurant. Truly exceptional pastas, and all their items are about the quality of the food, coupled with presentation. Highly recommended.
Another deeply satisfying meal at Arroyo Vino. The food and wine were top-notch, beautifully presented. Wish I could afford to eat here more often!!
My husband and I enjoyed an elegant dinner at Arroyo Vino and very much appreciated our waiter, Tomas. He was professional, attentive, but not overbearing. We wish more waiters in Santa Fe were half as good. We will definitely be going back.
limited selection on entrees but quality was very good. service very attentive.
Food was very good. Our waiter was excellent and when we asked for a wine suggestion he had the manager of the wine store stop by who gave an excellent suggestion. Their policy is the store price plus $30.00 instead of the normal 100% markup in most restaurants. We enjoyed the
experience and will go back in the future.
Fantastic! Service was above and beyond and food was amazing!
As usual the food, service and the ambiance
we’re all first rate
Amazing experience! We tried the Chef's tasting menu and every single dish was delicious. Fresh ingredients, creative combinations and aesthetically beautiful presentations. All complimented perfectly with a delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Possibly the best meal we have ever had, and a fantastic way to end our trip to Santa Fe. Would go back!
Amazing food! I'm vegan and the chef made special dishes to accommodate my diet. Much appreciated. The service was top notch.
This is one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is always top notch...that coupled with outstanding wine choices and waitstaff makes for a memorable evening. Great job AV!!
Wow! We spent a week in Santa Fe, and ate very, very well, but this was a real stand-out! A lovely setting about 5 miles outside of town on a lovely hilltop. Everything, from the warm welcome to the friendly yet professional service to the magnificent menu was first rate. Our lovely waitress even took the time to provide tips for us on our visit to the next day to Bandelier and Los Alamos, and all 6 of us agreed it was the absolute standout among all the highly-rated spots we visited in Santa Fe. It'll be at the top of our list next visit - absolutely!
Great food and wine. Drinks were top-notch. Service by Jonathan was terrific.
And Julian was the best! Besides making those great drinks, he helped us out and we really appreciated his assistance...
Christmas Eve dinner.
The appetizer was great, the sole was boring and tasteless the dessert was horrible.
I have had better meals there.
As usual, totally superb
We've been regulars at Arroyo Vino for the last couple of years. The service is always top notch and the food is very good; however, the menu is limited and they don't vary it much. The wine selection is as good as it gets.
We always love coming here! We chose the tasting menu and the sommelier recommended an excellent wine to pair with the meal. Sadly, the stomach bug I thought I had gotten over reared it ugly head halfway through the meal. They were kind and boxed up the food for me to enjoy later. Thanks again for taking such great care of us.
Have had several friends recommend Arroyo Vino, wonderful place, great food, creative wine list and nice dessert options. The service was A plus.
An interesting, creative menu, well prepared. Great, knowledgeable service willing to accommodate the gluten intolerant with us. And a great wine list!
Best of the best.
A great spot for a birthday celebration. Food was really good and the service was outstanding.
Wonderful service, delightful menu and a gracious staff.
they took care of us so well could not have been any better
Usual great food, ambiance, service and just all around being a great place !
Arroyo Vino was something of a disappointment. Bare room that could be anywhere in the world--no Santa Fe ambiance, southwest feeling or even some strong culinary decor. The food was good and the service attentive, but the overall experience was rather bland.
This restaurant is close to 10 mins away from downtown Santa Fe and a challenge to find at night. We were greeted immediately at the entrance to the wine shop and restaurant. We browsed the wines before being seated. You can buy wines from the shop but they still tack on a $30 corkage fee if served in the restaurant. The wines on the menu are the same in the shop (and same price). The red wines tend to lean more toward pinot noirs, riojas, and chateauneuf du papes. Our service was very friendly and attentive (many places serve wine but don't pour). The food is mainly from their approximately one acre of farm surrounding the restaurant. We started with a Japanese radish (baby daikon) amuse bouche in chipotle-like aioli (sorry, forgot the details) and surprised that it didn't have that peppery taste that daikon usually has. Really good. We had a house made venison sausage with beets. It was a pretty good sized appetizer. My friend ordered the halibut and enjoyed hers. I had a poached salmon (would have been better seared with crispy skin) on a bed of lentils and roasted grapes but the dish was delicious nonetheless. We had a full lunch that day so we did not order any dessert. This is a restaurant that we would come back to.
Excellent cuisine. Great wine selection (wine store on premises) and good service.
So glad we came to check this place out during our visit in Santa Fe! We did the tasting menu and added two plates. Everything was delicious. The only thing I could have done without was the charcuterie plate (two pate, two pickled veggies and two meats) mostly because I'm not a big fan pate and pickled veggies. The two meats were great. That said, it's a great price for everything we got and we'd definitely come back for the great service and wine options.
Simply amazing. If you visit Santa Fe, love food and wine...you must eat here.
Don’t skip desert.
Has become the best restaurant in Santa Fe. Every part of the meal was fantastic. Portions are perfect size, nothing wasted and we were comfortably full when we left.
We recently celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at Arroyo Vino and as ever the experience was outstanding - from the extra (and unexpected!) touch of having flowers on our table to finishing with a candle in our surprise sorbet. The time and care the staff took made the night even more special for us. Our meal was marvelous too. The pear and sun choke salad was a perfect combination of tart and earthy roasted goodness. And the salmon dish was one of the best things we have eaten in a long time. Maybe ever. The perfectly seasoned and cooked salmon with the tart apple and celery salad and pumpkin purée was fall and the ocean in one bite. If you want imaginative, thoughtful and expertly executed dishes created with fresh ingredients that set a new bar for ”local” (since they were harvested that day from their own organic garden; #localistheirbackyard) served with style and grace, come to Arroyo Vino.
Fabulous as always. This restaurant has really found its stride and is our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe by far. The chef is terrifically inventive, modern, and the flavors and textures of the food is just outstanding. Wonderful dishes tonight included a rabbit and foie gras terrine which was exceptional and a vegetarian entree which we shared as an appetizer (an amazing turnip roll with a superb squash puree sauce). Entrees we all thoroughly enjoyed were the venison with mole, the duck breast with smoked fig jam (fabulous) and cipolline onions, and the halibut. Desserts are okay, but not as good as the main courses. The wine list and service are exceptional. Congratulations and thanks!
Arroyo Vino is our first choice for excellent dining in Santa Fe. Chef Colin creates an amazing menu which changes as the on site garden produces a variety of excellent produce. I ordered the tasting menu which offered some items I might not usually order and enjoyed every course! My husband ordered the salmon and said "that was the best salmon meal I've ever eaten". The service was impeccable by all and especially our server Jonathan.
If you're in Santa Fe don't miss this fine dining experience.
