First time here. Celebrated our wedding anniversary with our 10 year old daughter. They honored our request for a booth and when we got to our table there were flowers and a card. What a thoughtful gesture. Kenny our server was superb.
I need to find out if they make their own delicious sourdough bread My husband has the surf and turf that he thoroughly enjoyed. My lamb chops were fantastic and our daughter almost finished her rib eye! They also gave us a complimentary starter of barbecue shrimp. That was very good as well.
We will definitely come back!
We had a wonderful dinner on February 21 and a really terrific waiter.. I know that I will be spelling his name incorrectly. He is irish and he was just superlative. You should use him as a benchmark for all your waiters. Personable, knowledgeable, very, very good. High praise indeed.
WE had a reservation for 7:00pm but the party before us was camping on the table. The hostess was so calm and helpful. She located us another table, which was impressive due to how crowded it was, which made our night!!!! What a FABULOUS staff you have!!!!! The food was as consistent as always. It really is the BEST steaks in town!
Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
Grew up in Pasadena but it was just my first time here to celebrate the mister's birthday. We had been going to Ruth's Chris for our special occasions last year so we wanted to change things up so we gave this place a try. The ambiance is nice but the table we were seated in was a small, 2-person booth and it felt a little claustrophobic and cramped once all the food came out. The service though out was decent; attentive, professional, friendly. The sourdough bread was a little bland and our starter of Ahi Tuna salad would have been great because the sear on the fish was excellent but the crust was too peppery. Both of us ordered filets and while they were cooked as ordered we both were surprised by the amount of fat on it (about two bites worth)--the other place I mentioned earlier had none at all. Our sides were the baked potato and creamed spinach, which were both okay.
The food was delicious. I loved the lobster mash potato and ribeye and chocolate soufflé
Food and service were as always exceptional!!!!!
Arroyo Chop House is our go to Special Occasion Restaurant.
From the “Old Fashion” Cocktails , the Fresh Fish and the Butterscotch
Pudding. It’s always a 5 star experience. Madison our server was great too😊
We celebrated a 21st Birthday and we had a great experience overall.
The Arroyo Chop House is a true 5 Star dining experience, food service and setting.
This place never disappoints. It's been a couple of years before returning and my wife and I were worried if it was as good as we remembered. Yep! In fact, it was better than we remembered.
Overall good experience
Our favorite Steak and Chop House in Southern California. It never disappoints.
Back again for another amazing night with friends. The best, service (Thank You, Thomas) food, and martinis (Thank You, Victor). Highly recommend!
Wonderful place to celebrate life events!
Thank you to the entire staff for always creating an incredible experience
Madison, our server, was outstanding! Personable and attentive and of course the food was amazing!
Great steaks! Corn souffle was delicious! Gran Marnier souffle was a delight. Ambiance and service were also first rate. Another triumph for the Smith Brothers.
Impressed by the service staff. We were waiting to be seated when the hostess heard that it is birthday celebration. By the time we were seated, the table was already set for celebration, pretty orchids and bday card handwritten w/bday wishes. We're seated by the piano and the player serenaded all night. Amazing but standards that never changes or being compromised here. Creamy spinach and wagyu beef are the best and chocolate souffle were perfect too.
Love coming back here.
My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday and had a great experience. Our waiter was very attentive and overall the service was stellar. I started off with oysters, which were perfect. My husband and I shared the Butter Lettuce and Goat Cheese salad, which was a little underwhelming. We ordered the special Tomahawk bone-in ribeye for two. It came out way too rare so we sent it back, and it came back perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. We had the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans for our sides and both were wonderful. I highly recommend the butterscotch pudding for dessert. Overall, a great meal and great experience!
This is my wife’s and mine favorite restaurant and we have always had “great” service and our last visit was a great enjoyment with perfect service, food was too.
It’s so nice to go to a fine restaurant that Service and Food is and has been there presentation for years. Thank You, Thank You. “ Please do not change this good thing”
Arroyo Chophouse never disappoints; it is always great! Love the Wagyu beef but all their steaks are wonderful. Great selection of sides and love the tableside Caesar Salad. Service is attentive but not too much. Hostesses are pleasant & helpful and the valet parkers remember you and are quick.
Altogether a great dining experience. Always busy even on a Tuesday evening & were using all rooms.
We were placed in a room with a business banquet, so the 20 people made our night kind of loud. Had to shout to talk to my gf for her birthday dinner.
Otherwise the good and service were superb. Complimentary valet parking
Great place. Good was delicious and the staff was very welcoming and polite. It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for.
Good cool vibe place to enjoy food & drinks. Friendly staff!
Food and service were excellent. A bit noisy for conversation.
We went for Dine LA and were treated like a 2nd class citizen. The server was notably uninterested and inattentive when we said that we'd like to do the Dine LA option. Food was good but not spectacular to put up with such poor service. We should've just gone to Roy's for the same price.
Dine in LA must! Great value!
Really great hostess, ambience, and main course. The pork chop and filet mignon were both great, but the sides were just good, nothing exceptional. The other must have here is the soufflé. The service was mediocre as our waiter was inattentive and only came to bring food, and our $6 bread was cleared before they even asked if we were still working on it or if wanted to take it to They gave me orchids for my birthday as well as a little cupcake (which kind of looked slapped together and unappetizing). Overall, I think it weren’t for how well they do their meat, I wouldn’t come back.
My friend and I dined here (for my birthday) during LA DINE week. The food was superb! I had also visited Ruth Criss the week before, Arroyo was FAR BETTER! I definitely be back as often as possible.
ACH was been excellent for years. It is one of those places where from reception to picking up your car, they want to get it right. If you have an issue with your food, for example, steak not cooked enough, just tell your server — it is never a problem. The quality on every level has remained consistent and that is why for over 15 years we have continued to return without hesitation.
