Arrowleaf Bistro Ratings and Reviews
I don’t eat out very often because I am usually disappointed. Here I loved the food creative food combinations. Everything was tasty and pleasing to the eye. I just wish I had remembered to ask them for low salt options. I noticed the gentleman at the table next to me was adding salt to the very dish I thought was too salty. So there you go.
We really enjoyed our diner here. Friendly staff, attentive service, and tasty food. Our selections were possibly a little heavy ( We had Beef Bourguignon and a Ribeye ) but when it's 10 degrees outside you need serious comfort food. Arrowleaf Bistro delivered. My wife rarely, if ever, orders beef but she left saying it was so good we should try to make bourguignon at home. Wow, good for me. Even the crispy Brussels sprouts were an exceptional treat. When we next visit Winthrop, we will not fail to eat her again.
Back in the valley for the holidays and came here for dinner when our new stove delivery was delayed. Glad it was! Joanne was kind enough to fit us in and we could not have been more grateful.
Perfect martini, great wine list and delicious food... roasted squash soup, great house salad, lamb chops and duck, all completely delicious! What a gem this place is!
And, of course, the service is always efficient and delightful. What a Solstice celebration. Thank you!!
Delicious. Pumpkin soup under salted, but that's easy to fix with a soup. Asked for duck breast rare/medium-rare, was told that was "chef's choice." I assumed that meant that the chef would at least have it medium-rare, but apparently he or she likes to cook such pretty well done -- strange. It was still good, as the sauce and accompaniments were delicious. Wine selection is Washington focused, and both the ones we picked were great, and the staff seemed to be knowledgable about wine.
This is our second trip to Arrowleaf Bistro. We find the team there to be delightful. We love the hostess; this is the second time she has seated us. Frankly, I want her to be my friend. We were seated next to a large party so it wasn't as quiet as our first trip. It certainly wasn't loud either. My husband was thrilled as they were very understand of his celiac disease requests. His cocktail was on point. We will go back next time we visit Methow Valley. Thanks!
We have been going to Winthrop for over 30 years and have eaten at this establishment when the venue was still in town. They have recently moved to their new location just outside the town - a new building with lots of wood and warmth, tables well spaced and the same good service and food that one would expect at this price point. We liked the old place for ambiance, but the newer building has more room and better parking facilities. Overall it was excellent.
This is our all time favorite restaurant. We love the food, but the owners and staff make it a place to return to often. We live more than 300 miles away, and yet we try to visit at least once or twice a year, just for the experience. The service is outstanding and even the limited menu choices allowed us to eat there three nights in a row. Anyone visiting Winthrop should include at least one dinner here.
We had reservations and were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation. Noise level of conversations in the dining room made having a conversation difficult. Server was gracious and attentive. Service was a bit slower than I would have expected. Food was excellent. Portions were very reasonable. Overall experience was good, not great.
