Atmosphere and food were good. Waiter was good but they did not have enough staff (so not his fault). We had to wait for over 20 mins to get someone to come and take our drink order. Same to then take food order. Orherwise everything was excellent.
Love to meet friends here, as the food is great and a great value.
Nice casual restaurant. The atmosphere is quite dark and needs some updating. The food was good. The fried Clamari were delicious as was the minestrone soup. The bread was also very good. Our waiter was helpful and very good
Happy Birthday Uncle Tony!!! Great Time !
Thank you for asking !😃😃
We had a group of 5 for dinner. Excellent service - loved sampling everyone’s food and we all enjoyed every item. The warm, fresh focaccia bread was delightful. We ordered a variety of items - some on the specials menu and some on the regular, all of the food was great! I think of the 5 of us took home the extras so generous portions. We will go back!
I took my adult daughter to this restaurant to celebrate her passing her CDL test and we really loved the food and wine! The wait staff does a nice job too!
great atmosphere, always tasty, great place to bring friends
Food was pheoniminal and the ambiance was great. Service was not good. Took us forever to get a menu and put in an order. The kitchen was backed up and food took a long time to come out. Food would be the main reason to come back.
It was disappointing. Two ordered the lobster bisque. They waiter dropped it off & immediately left w/o bothering to give them spoons! Both said there was a film on top, as if it had been sitting for awhile -- and both said their stomachs were bothering them the next day. We were there promptly before 5, the place had just opened & we were still seated by the bathroom. The table was small & crowded, even when they removed the wine glasses. We all agreed the food, price, & poor service will cause us to not visit the restaurant again.
Everything was spectacular. The waiters and the food were fantastic.
Valentines
My wife and I arrived a little earlier than our reservation time and they were able to accommodate us nicely. The food was fabulous, the staff was friendly and amazing. We will definitely be going back.
Great little cozy restaurant with a fabulous menu, attentive staff, and reasonable prices, especially for how good the food is.
Great people, friendly service and good food! Love the atmosphere and the personal attention!
Amazing and the service was spectacular!
We were there for a birthday celebration and we all felt spoiled. Thank you!
One of the best Italian meals I've had in Arizona. Great food, great service, at a reasonable price. Rivals any meal I've had in the New York metro area.
Slow service and average food is not a good recipe. We had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday night and the place was only about half full. Will not be going there again.
This place has been on our list for awhile and definitely didn’t disappoint! Our whole experience was great and the food is delicious! Don’t miss the bread...it’s worth the calories 😊
We will be back and have added this to our “go-to” list of neighborhood spots!
Been here multiple times,,,the food is always great...brought in a guest from California and he said it was the best Italian food he’s ever had. I deviated from my normal choice and had the lasagna...have to admit, it was just OK...but with that being said it is the only “just OK” meal I’ve ever had here. The service is exceptional. The price is very reasonable
Lobster ravioli was wonderful. Excellent Vodka sauce.
The service and food was excellent ! We had the lobster and crab ravioli and the eggplant!
The host was rude and obnoxious.
Just a great restaurant that has great food and great service The veal is soooo good. I highly recommend the spicy meatballs as the appetizer. Best I have ever had
Food just average. Server was great! I would go there again for Pizza, as they had a pizza oven, but not until they get it fixed as the server said it was broken.
This was our second time visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious and there are several great wines for pairing. The staff is friendly and helpful and the ambiance is very beautiful and romantic.
Recently in Awahtukee, AZ & thought we’d stop in to one of our former favorites when visiting there & it’s not the same as in years past. My husband had t one of the “specials” which was the filet mignon. The filet was excellent but came on a plate with pasta that had only olive oil, salt & pepper on it & a small cup of mushrooms for $30. The fillet was about 5 oz. . There was no vegetable garnish or salad included. I had the Cioppino which had several shrimp, a small piece of salmon & some clams & mussels on top of linguini. The sauce was pretty lackluster. I could have had it prepared “spicy” but I really wanted the flavor of the sauce to be a bit more robust. Our waiter/owner Max was very friendly & was busy bartending also which he juggled well. I think perhaps a seasoned Chef needs to be hired to bring Arrivederci back up to snuff.
This place is great! I've lived in Ahwatukee for years but had never visited. My daughter suggested we have dinner there. The food was excellent! The service was amazing. I will definitely have dinner here again...and soon!
This is typically one of our favorite restaurants, but this experience was not as good as the rest. We were there on a Friday night, and it was extremely busy and warm inside. People were actually taking their food to go because of the temperature in the building. Additionally, we asked for gluten-free pasta as we usually have and we were initially told that you were out of GF pasta. Then, after waiting a while, and talking to our waitress about why you wouldn't have gluten-free pasta on a busy Friday night, A more seasoned waiter overheard and went back to check in the kitchen. It ends up that you did have gluten-free pasta, but the chefs didn't want to cook it. We were told it would take 20 minutes to cook , which we were glad to wait , since I was told there's nothing else on the menu I could eat. Just a strange evening all the way around… The wait staff were nice though and I was glad we were finally able to get something to eat.
Arrivederci Trattoria is one of my favorite restaurants, but this trip was quite disappointing. I had made a reservation on Open Table and specifically said that we were there to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday. Not once was her birthday mentioned through dinner. During dinner, I receive an email from Open Table saying I did not show up for my reservation. I specifically told the host when we walked in that I had a reservation, so he must not have checked and sat us as a regular table. I had the lobster ravioli which I have had on previous visits. The sauce was supposed to have crab and shrimp in it and has had giant chunks in previous visits. I think I had maybe one piece of crab and zero shrimp this time. I normally love visiting the restaurant, but this visit unfortunately left me very underwhelmed.
Awesome! The lasagna was fantastic. Must try the lobster ravioli... it is a special treat. The Fettuccine Alfredo is unique and very delicious!
Best Eggplant Parmesan I have ever had! Everyone in our party loved their food. The staff were friendly and personable, but could have been a little quicker at taking our orders. It seemed to take a while and it wasn't a busy night. All-in-all it was a great night out with friends. Thank you!
Our wedding celebration dinner was a real disappointment. I had a wonderful dinner here 5 years ago...delicious, romantic & excellent service. Things have changed!! The owner greeted us wearing shorts and flip flops, asking if we had a groupon and telling us there was no music (on a Friday night) he was lavishing attention on the obvious regulars at the next table. We waited and waited for our service. Foccacia was delicious, veal was rubbery with a overly salted sauce, salmon was tasty. Service was very slow. I watched as the chef talked on his cell phone, hung up and continue preparing food without washing his hands or wearing gloves. We ordered one dessert with 4 spoons to share. We were served 4 slices of terrible spumoni. When I told the waiter that we ordered 1 dessert with 4 spoons...he said "oh, hold on" and walked away. As the ice cream melted (we had no utensils) he went to talk to the owner about the error. He came back several minutes later saying "it's ok...we won't charge you for all 4" we had to then ask for spoons. Worst $7 ice cream ever!
As we prepared to leave, the waiter congradulated my teenager and his girlfriend on their marriage??? (Ummm... I'm the one with the bouquet and dress) Overpriced and unprofessional. We won't be back.
Always casual, always good food, always great value. This is a comfortable place to go when we are at loose ends for dinner.
Had a good Italian meal and a good bottle of wine. Service was very good. Will likely return
The waitress suggest my friend and I share a dinner special because it was a large portion. She suggest we share the entre and order a salad to split. We did just that and when she served the salad it was on one plate. She said they did not split plates in the kitchen. For a nice restaurant it seemed a little tacky. We would have gladly paid a plate fee. It was her suggestion that we share the meal in the first place. We did not appreciate the lack of service and will not go back.
Excellent overall experience food friendly and fair prices
My chicken parmesan was forgettable -- not horrible but not even close to the best I've ever had. The pricing was high for the ambiance and for what you got; thankfully, we had a Groupon for 50% off. If we didn't have that, I would have felt ripped off. My husband got linguini alfredo with meatballs, and that was very good. If we get another Groupon, I'll go back and that's what I'll order.
As for ambiance, the tables were very close together and it almost reminded me of cafeteria style seating. It would not have been good for an intimate date.
Very nice neighborhood resturant. The server was friendly and made us feel welcome. We will return
I liked the caprese salad ,the chicken skewers were nothing. the Red snapper looked like it was in a bath of red tomatoe sauce , not much flavor I didnt eat it. service was great . I've been to scottsdale never had a complaint , Ill never go back to this one even with a groupon it was disappointing. sorry guys
Would not let us in on our reservation time. Made us wait because we had a groupon!
