Arrivederci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Food and service are outstanding. All food is prepared fresh daily and you are served by male waiters in the Italian tradition. The noise level can become high when the restaurant fills up with customers so if you prefer a quiet dining experience, go between 5:00 and 5:30 PM before the crowds arrive.
The food was good, especially the bread; the server gracious; the owner was there but did not come to our table, which was surprising since we were the only patrons during the entire lunch hour. The ambience was, definitely, Old World Italian which lends to it's charm. I'm sure it's a neighborhood favorite.
The small tables for two are the worst. If you have wine, bread, next balance your plate on your lap. Can they get any smaller? We have been here several times. The last two times they cannot wait to rush you and turn over your table. They kept pointing at our table and noticeably making plans for the next two for the table. You lost your ambiance.
Being it wwas New Years Eve there was a 40 minute wait with a reservation. It was expected to be quite busy on this night. Once we were seated the service was good, food was hot and staff was very accomodating and friendly. It was a memorable New Year's Eve night for our pasrty of nine celebrting together.
Made a reservation on Christmas Day, but they were way too busy to take us in. 7:30 reservation, I arrived at 7:15 but couldn’t even check in until 7:35.
At 7:50, no end to the line was in sight so we went elsewhere.
A they shouldn’t have taken our reservation if they were so busy. Wasted an hour of my time.
Restaurant was packed because of Christmas Day. Wondered whether we were going to be seated. Ultimately we got our table and the Good and service were great. They were definitely running at full capacity and struggling to keep up with the holiday rush.
They did do however with charm and grace with everyone chipping in to get the job done. We will return on a non holiday night .
Dec 24th. I don't know if the regular chef was off or not, but the food was not good. The veal parm. was like shoe leather, could barely cut it. The Caesar salad was thin cut lettuce with powdered cheese on top. The seafood combo was rubbery and flavorless. On top of all that they had an abbreviated Holiday menu with higher prices. $100 meal for 2 without drinks... Not again.
Dining here is a great experience. The food is authentically Italian, the wine list is good and the service is fun and efficient. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal. I had Osso Buco. The meat was tender and delicious. We skipped dessert, but finished the night with a complimentary limoncello.
Arrivederci is our "go to" saturant for celebrations. We have been going there for more than 20 years and have yet to have a bad meal. The food is consistently excellent, the staff both friendly and professional and the ambiance is what you would expect from a first class Italian restaurant. With a reservation, I have never waited more than 5 minutes. Without one, it may take a little long, but the Maitre D' will tell you about how long you can expect to wait and make you comfortable while you wait. I am a fan of the restaurant and wish them much more success in the future, since I intend to continue to eat there.
The food had very little taste. I had the penne pasta with Vodka sauce. The sauce was watery with absolutely no taste. my oowife had the lobster ravioli and she was also very disappointed with the food. The service was very slow and the restaurant was noisy.
We were out of towners so no idea where to go. Found this on Open Table and decided to try since it was close by. My friend enjoyed the meal, me not so much. The fish I got was salty. Salt and I do not get along! The place is nice and the service is great. At the end of the meal the owner walked over with a glass of Limoncello. which was so nice and unexpected.
