cuisine in Scottsdale, Arizona like chicken parmesan, pasta alfredo and gnocchi, then "andiamo a Arrivederci!" Located just south of Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter on East Thunderbird Rd, our family-run restaurant has been operating for more than 18 years.
Ar-ri-ve-der-ci is Italian for "see you later" Once you've eaten our fresh, authentic dishes cooked by executive chef Franco Cacace and finished your meal with our homemade limoncello, we know you'll be saying "Arrivederci!"
Thinly sliced grilled Portobello mushrooms on baby greens topped with diced tomatoes, choice of balsamic vinaigrette or creamy gorgonzola
Ravioli di Aragosta In Salsa di Zafferano
Lobster ravioli in a saffron cream sauce
Spaghetti Vongole, E Frutti Di Mare
Spaghetti with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp in red or whiter sauce
Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant. The staff couldn’t have been kinder and upon realizing we were visiting from out of town, treated us to a dessert and lemoncello! Truly fantastic and couldn’t recommend it more.
Always a top notch dining experience under the watchful eye of owner Eddie. Quality cuisine. Superior service.
Loved this restaurant!!!
Nice classic Italian restaurant, intimate feeling, with white table cloths and lots of wine on shelves. Food is good, service is friendly, seems to be very popular with an older crowd. The Chocamisu dessert is fantastic.
Eddie and Giovanni are the best. Our "go to" Italian cuisine favorite!
The food was delicious, but our service experience was sub par at best.
I made a reservation via OpenTable at 4:30pm for Mother's Day, expecting to be seated upon arrival, but instead had to wait 10 minutes in an empty restaurant, because I was told they "weren't prepared to seat us" despite the reservations I made to mitigate that exact situation. There were no apologies for the confusion. We had a large group of 7, and the waiters were very visibly stingy with serving more than 1 bread roll per person in our party during the drinks round, which felt embarrassing since this was a holiday and we had family members visiting from other states joining us for dinner. Later, my elderly family member was poured a beer by a server which spilled over onto the table - nobody came to clean it up, the server did not apologize but instead made a passive comment, and we were not brought another drink to compensate for half of ours pouring over. Again, embarrassing. We also had to ask several times for drinks that were forgotten for other people in our party, AND were also brought the wrong order! These several dings were annoying considering we had paid high holiday menu prices, only to feel like we were not being treated. I am glad that the food was at least good, as it made up for the poor service. I don't know that I would return to sit down again, but I might just do takeout since the food was yummy and authentic.
Food was great! Loved the ravioli and chicken parm! We’re regulars. Service was off compared to usual. Food is truly homemade!!
Worst Italian food I have ever had
Arrivederci, has been a long time favorite. We always enjoy the atmosphere and quality of food, and great service.
Our experience at this restaurant was perfect! We enjoyed the food but the service was impeccable! If we lived in the Phoenix area this would be a place we would find ourselves quite often!
We love this restaurant. I have found that we enjoy lunch more than dinner as it is less crowded and the attention more personal but have never had a bad experience. We will be back soon and bringing friends!
It's your nice corner Italian place that you don't expect the food to be overwhelming,
just nice. The food is as good as it gets with a menu of traditional Italian dishes
with always some nice fish selections and a wine list of complementary Italian wines
that marry well with any of their entrees. The prices are more than reasonable and the service is close to swarming. The weekends can be a bit crowded but good for them.
We've never been disappointed, It's a great little spot.
Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend Arrivederci.
We had a wonderful meal with great service. Will definitely return at a future time.
Fantastic on every level. Outstanding staff and food!
Simply a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere was so inviting and a celebration with great food and service. Will definitely be on my list of fine places to visit when I’m in Scottsdale 3-4 times a year. I was greatly impressed with the younger servers and their attention to the tables.
Great food and family setting. Staff excellent too.
Food fabulous, space is quite small so noise level can get crazy when they are busy.
Great service. Italian comfort food
Great food and service on our last night of vacation
The food is amazing and I love the ambiance! Everything was superb!
outstanding food and service, the best small family business in the valley
Lobster Raviolis were horrible. No high chair available
Great restaurant and fabulous Italian cuisine!
It is a warm and family environment restaurant. We never had bad food there and we always enjoy our time there. The waiter Eddie is fabulous.
Took a little while for device but once she arrived she was amazing!
Authentic, consistent, great service, good time
Our server was excellent and our food exceptional!
I said it all in my answers to the prior questions.
A great local Italian restaurant. We had 2 entrees, 1 salad, 1 cocktail, 1 wine=$100
We always have great food and service at Arrivederci.
Great food and service! Enjoyed every moment there.
Always a pleasure to frequent this restaurant. Great food and service all the time!!
Server was very nice. She kinda neglected us a bit. My wine glass was empty for a while, we left before it was refilled. Food was great. People were very nice. A little noisy but hot bad.
What an awesome experience! The waiters remembered my name and my preference in wine! Rare, these days. I tried something new, which is out of my comfort zone. They make you feel like family! Thanks for an awesome dinner!
One of our favorite spots!
We walked in without a reservation and they sat us at a table that would’ve been fine. But they noticed they had a cancellation so they moved us to a cozy booth. Each one of our four dinners tasted wonderful. We were delightfully pleased.
Giovanni abs entire team is fantastic! Our favorite restaurant .
It was just “ok”, seems like it was familiar to locals but I suppose I was hoping for better tasting food since it was Italian that had been there a long time.
