We had made reservations for window seating which was amazing. The dinner far exceeded our expectations and our waitress was super friendly. The manager came over and introduced himself and to ask if everything was good. After a brief conversation with him he knew that we were there for our anniversary and at the end of the meal we were told that the manager would like to give us our dessert for free. We had a wonderful time and will be back again for sure..
My boyfriend took me here for one of our first dates and we returned to watch a jays game for our 2 yr anniversary. It is such a cool experience watching a jays game on the glass. The servers were extremely friendly and accommodating. The resto has a great atmosphere and a large menu with lots of options. Can wait to return again!
Took the family to Arriba for dinner prior to attending the Blue Jays game. Perfect spot for the evening, we were able to watch the Blue Jays warm up and get to our seats in the Rogers centre right on time. The food was surprisingly good, my Mother especially enjoyed her Halibut and our server was very friendly. Will go back again as this the perfect place for for dinner if you have tickets to a Jays game.
We went to Arriba for brunch before watching the Blue Jays games on a Sunday. The place was busy with baseball fans, families and hotel guests. The brunch buffet was delicious, had lots of options and worth going back for seconds and thirds. Without going into detail, the one thing that ruined our experience is the awful inattentiveness of our server. I understand that it was a busy day, but at that time, most diners at our section opted for the brunch buffet. Our patience was truly tested and ruined at what was supposed to be a good dining experience.
If you are going to an event at the Rogers Centre this is a great place to have dinner. The food is good but the service is a little slow. There were 3 of us in the group, two got their entrees and mine arrived 20 minutes later. Obviously the place was short staffed that night - which makes for a stressful dinner if you have to go to a n event.
Just so happened that our group of 6 (including a 7 years old kid who is allergic to peanuts) went to the aquarium next door and made a quick reservation to the nearby restaurant through Open Table over the phone. We picked Arriba based on the location and the review. Luckily Arriba also participates into Summerlicious and all the 5 adults tried out their dinner menu. Foods are very good with high CP value especially with the Summerlicious program. One thing to emphasize here is that the food selection for the 7-yrs old kid is not easy but the waiter is very patient and asked back-n-forth to the chef in kitchen that which dish(es) does not contain peanuts or it's by-product. Very good service indeed! Will definitely be on the priority list next time when we tour around Toronto downtown again.
The service at this restaurant was awful. We waited 20 minutes before someone even came by to give us water. It took another 25 minutes for salads to come out and then another 30 minutes for the main course to come out. The food was decent but not worth the wait.
Though there was no game at the time we were there, it was fun overlooking the stadium. Unfortunately the restaurant seemed to be under staffed (game was earlier in the day) and our food was overcooked.
Food was great and if the Jays were playing it would be a great view. I don't think it's romantic, it's more casual but the food high quality.
We made reservations for Summerlicious and when we arrived we were sat right by the window and could watch the Toronto Blue Jays. My friend and I were surprised and excited! We're not major baseball fans, but would watch & cheer them on! Our server Erin provided us regular menus when we asked for the Summerlicous menu because that was our reservation she told us frankly that we would need to spend a minimum order of $50 per person in order to sit in these premium seats or we would have to move one table over to the inside. So we asked if we could review both menus and then decide. We decided to move inside. Not once did Erin crack a smile at us. Our Apps arrived quite quickly (her a salad, mine the crab cake). They were average. I want to say our mains took over 30 minutes to arrive (Her the salmon, which was cooked wonderfully but plain and mine the pork & boar sausage). The presentation for all food was well done. Then dessert arrived (her the chocolate torte & mine the creme brulee). The torte was AMAZING!! We asked for the bill right after we finished dessert, and that took her 20 minutes. The place was busy but not packed. There was enough staff to serve everyone. Our waters and plates were clearly quite quickly. Erin only asked how our dessert was. We sat down at 1:30 & left at 4PM. If you want to be left alone to watch the Jays game & pay the 'premium seats' then go but don't expect a decent Summerlicious lunch. We couldn't wait to get out fast enough. Even the lady beside complained about getting dry carrots with her wings. Will not recommend this place to other people.
Went here for the first time for Summerlicious and booked the reservation exactly at the start of a Blue Jays game. Got a seat next to the windows where the entire Rogers stadium came in view.
Instead of buying a cheap ticket for a game, why not reserve a table inside Arriba and watch the game in an airconditioned, food served environment?
I've been here for Summerlicious, winterlicious, and regular dinner. Loved it every time.
Our server was nice, but never smiled.
The Artic Char was seasoned well so were the grilled vegetables and potatoes, just mouth watering! The service very friendly, went out of his to make our expeirence enjoyable. I would recommend it to my friends.
A fantastic restaurant with great food and atmosphere. What more can you ask for especially when you receive friendly, energetic and fantastic service at the same time?
Good Food, View into Rogers Center was not there, We did not get separate bills and we had to wait almost 20 minutes only to find out we had to pay a single bill. Our time is valuable and we had requested separate billls when making our reservations at opentable.com
This is at the restaurant which you can see into the Roger's centre field. We went for Sat lunch so there were only a few more tables occupied. I enjoyed the crab cakes with light wasabi mayo. The baby kale salad wasn't bad either. For main we had Arctic Char and the wild boar Bratwurst & duck sausage. You don't see these 2 dishes on other restaurant's menu. Presentation was good. I think my favourite was the espresso Creme Brulee so it's not as sweet as the regular Creme Brulee.
Great for dining before the Blue Jay game. Food selection and pricing excellent.
We have taken out of town and out of country guests to Arriba many times and they always enjoy it.
looking forward to our next visit.
For the high price of the Sunday buffet, it had very little selection.
Nice friendly staff
I hadn't tried Arriba until I got vouchers as a gift, and I haven't since found a better spot to watch a Blue Jays game. If you're interested in going during gametime I would definitely recommend making reservations well in advance, as window seats are first-come first-served. The steak is probably the best I've ever had. Would go again for sure.
The restaurant is located inside a hotel. The view into the stadium is really cool. The food was ok.
I have been here for dinner atleast a dozen times. The staff is always great, food is fantastic, and of course there is no better view while eating when you have a window seat during a Jays game. I will continue to dine here because it is always an all around great experience.
We love coming here every year for our anniversary! The view from the table to watch the game is just awesome and we love the food and service. This was our third year in a row and we will be back next year! Thank you so much
From the moment you arrive the staff tries to make you feel at home by welcoming you with a friendly smile and courteous gestures. I decided to take my family to Arriba for Mother's day and reserved online with the expectation that we would be sitting far from the window. As we arrived the hostess advised that we would be seated by the window so that the kids could watch and enjoy.
The wait staff was accommodating from the minute we sat down and gave us a small talk about the two ways of service available. We opted for the Brunch Buffet which turned out to be amazing. The spread consisted of both breakfast and lunch items. I tried a home made yogurt with granola and mixed fruits which I had to go back for another as it was unbelievable.
The whole experience was beyond expectations including the most affordable brunch for 4 that I had in this city in years. Where can you have a great meal and watch a game for under $90.00?
I definitely will return more often as it is cheaper than actually venturing into the Stadium itself.
I don't think I've ever had such great service...the girls were kind, happy, and so helpful. The food on the other hand was disappointing. I had the fish tacos, and the portion of the fish was almost non existent. My husband had the steak and it was very fatty. So considering the price we payed, not great, but we got to watch batting practice, and again, the service was excellent!
Our second time at Arriba and it was just as good as the first! Alex, our server was so attentive and made sure that we were always being taking care of. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is vibrant, and you can't beat watching the game from the comfort of your seat enjoying great food! We were there celebrating my husband's birthday and my birthday and we had such a great time!!! Oh.... be sure to try the carrot cake it's the Chef's Grandma's family recipe or so we were told, it was incredible!!!! Arriba has become a family tradition for birthdays!
Our server was knowledgeable the host and managers were kind even checked up on us. We requested a window seat which was given to us only if the lights in the stadium was on itd be a better view. We started off with chips and dip, it was good the chips were still warm as they got to the table I just wish the dip was a bit warm so it was able to dip the chips easier Prime rib was cooked well. Short rib was a bit too salty for me and the potatoes just weren't my thing so wasn't able to enjoy it much. Finished it all off with the chocolate tarte, very sweet... Only complaints is that they share a parking lot with the Rogers center and don't validate parking because of the car convention that day parking underground was $25!!!! The day I went was -30 out. For the prices of their food they should validate parking.
We came here for dinner for Winterlicious 2015. We were a party of 4 adults. We were seated right by the window with a great view that overlooks the inside of the Rogers Center. We decided to come back in the summer and have lunch or dinner while watching a Jays game!
The food from all the courses were delicious! Turkey chowder, Quiche, Salmon, Braised Short Ribs, Sorbet, Carrot Cake, Bread Pudding - all delicious!
On top of that, our server was very friendly and pleasant. We'll definitely be coming back soon.
Ravioli and carrot cake were outstanding. Good choices.
We happened to go on a night where it wasn't too busy so the noise level was non-existence. The waitress was great and so was the food. We also saw Buck Matinez eating there.
Visited Arriba for Winterlicious 2015. They do not have an extensive cocktail menu, however the food was great! I had the ravioli which was ok, but other guests had the salmon and short rib and said it was fantastic! You could tell everything was made fresh, nothing frozen. They only had one server working but we still had great service. Had a great view of the Rogers centre and would definitely return in the Summer.
Had dinner on Christmas night at this place and its a pleasant surprise to see a place that's not noisy or packed on Christmas night in downtown.
The food is very good for the price it is. We had the holiday special which is a three course meal for $30 and its worth every penny.
We had the cream of mushroom soup, which is not bad but average.
For the main course, we have the roasted turkey and strip lion. Which both are juicy and tasteful. Especially the turkey stuffing, which my fiancée who never liked stuffing actually likes what they did to it.
And for dessert we had the creme brûlée cheesecake and the cinnamon bread budding, which both are very enjoyable.
If you want a dinner with a quiet setting (non game day), this is certainly a great spot for it.
And on game day, you can almost feel like having a free box ticket and enjoy the game.
This was not our first time at Arriba. We've had great experiences in the past. Unfortunately we had a waitstaff that was probably new and since it was really really quiet (3 tables, max?) at the time we were there, it was a good time to have her there. Unfortunately she knocked down a vase which splashed plant water all over my suede bad and coat. The manager rushed in only to say "oh it's jus water" which infuriated me. Her response? Let's give you 25% off your bill and give you free dessert. Oh did you want me to put your coat under a dryer? WHAT? That was an interesting response that could have been better. So we continued eating but really now. I would expect a more refined response from a Renaissance Hotel restaurant.
the food was good and big portions, however the print out of receipt was very confusing with the coupon and the waitress was defending the confusing receipt while raising her voice. Very annoying
We were promptly seated upon arrival. Service was friendly and fast. Food was above average, and we were served large portions. Prices were quite reasonable, for both food and drink. It's a great place to eat before entering the seating area of the Roger's Centre to take in a game.
We have booked this restaraunt a few times now and the service and food have been great every time. WE are planning to visit Toronton again next year and will book a seat at ARIBA for sure.
You come to Ariba for the view first - it is facing the Rogers Center. The service is good. We've not been here when there's a game since it will be busy and a bit crazy and loud. We've been here when there were no games and it's quiet and good for meetings.
Went to Arriba on a Sunday for lunch and to watch the Blue Jays game. We were greeted by friendly staff and given a table right by the windows with a great view of the game. The service was prompt, food was delicious and the restaurant staff were very warm and accommodating. It was overall a great dining experience. I would certainly recommend visiting Arriba for anyone wanting to watch a Jays game but looking for a pleasant change in atmosphere compared to the stadium atmosphere. Even if baseball isn't what you're into, the staff and food alone are also worth the visit!
Amazing staff. Accommodated our request for a great view in honor of my dad's 70th birthday. They made the day so special.
wonderful time! we went with friends visiting from out of town and our kids had fund watching the game during lunch. Lots of fun and great service
We booked a reservation at Arriba in order to celebrate my husband's birthday. They were able to meet all of our requests and the waitress was really nice and did an outstanding job! We were placed at a window table, so we were able to watch the Jays throughout our meal which was a neat expereince.
