Excellent food and service!! Can’t wait to go back!

Our meal was exceptionally good. The restaurant needs a fresh coat of paint and updating. Looks tired.

Arooji's is "best kept secret" if you will. It is a wonderful Italian restaurant and wine cellar with a wide variety of selections. The ambiance is very soothing and comfortable. We love it most for it's quiet setting and the wonderful wait staff. Have a look at the menu but don't be afraid to ask for it how you like. They always accommodate. "Whatever way you like it, we'll make it for you". They have bar seating and outdoor dining but spaces are limited. And that's a good thing!

Greeted and seated immediately. Wine list, menu and service all excellent. Owner is from Italy and cooks authentically. Shared romantic anniversary with friends and had a wonderful time.

The service was great. Everyone was attentive and kind. The menu presented at the restaurant was much shorter than on the website. The crab cakes had more filler than crab. The lamb shank was practically a pot roast. Sitting in the middle of the room was less than ideal.

What a great choice for Christmas Eve! Arooji’s has great Italian food, wonderful wine and the service is always over the top goo. We really appreciate Ray and Angel and the wonderful service. We will be back for more at Aroojis.

Another great meal at Arooji's!! We have visited here many, many times and love their food, service and ambiance. We always reserve a booth in the bar area because the decor reminds us of our European dining experiences. We will be back!!

Its ok but nothing special

First time diners and we will be back! Very charming location, we were seated in a small private room that was great for conversation. Osso Bucco, Pollo Piccata, Branzino, Risotto and Lasagna were all delicious and well prepared.

Delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was very friendly, helpful and fulfilled our requests most pleasantly. Will definitely return and recommend highly to others.

This south Charlotte Italian restaurant has superb food, wonderful ambiance, and truly exceptional service. It is very much like the neighborhood gems in Greenwich Village that we go to when visiting NYC and a refreshing difference from the noise, crowds, and sporadic service experienced at other local venues in South Charlotte that are also typically more expensive.

Their special dishes are reasonably priced as are their wine pours which are also very generous.

There is a nice bar there as well as booths, high tops, and other rooms to enjoy for drinks ,appetizers, or dinner with friends.

We will definitely be returning again soon for this consistently excellent experience!

Party of 7, we didn't want to dine quickly and that request was accommodated. Great food and excellent wine selections. The only complaint is we had a 6:30 reservation, by the time we ordered 4 selected lamb chops and we were advised that there was only one order was left. We wound up with 3 disappointed diners, early on a Saturday night. We would return because the food is very good.

Several Italian restaurants have opened in South Charlotte the past couple of years, but Arooji’s is the one we always find ourselves coming back to. One of the best wait staffs of any restaurant we’ve been and the food is always great.

My wife and I had dinner there last night and start to finish everything was just perfect.
