This is one of the most amazing Italian restaurants in North Orange County. It has the very best and consistently outstanding cuisine and wait service. Dom is the best, as he's the epitome of what an outstanding waiter should be. Be sure to request him when dining here. Excellent pastas and tasty carne are both highly recommended and don't forget the mouth watering cheesecake for dessert. It's the very best you've ever tasted.

Was looking forward to visiting A’roma for first time based on Open Table top rating.
Was quickly seated in a nice setting with ambient lighting and a low noise level. First off, I must say our server left something to be desired with a businesslike tableside manner almost on the edge of snobbish though he appeared to be warmer to those who seem to frequent this establishment.
Started with ordering wine from the list (which was out of stock- Ouch ! ) but another fine Cab was available. Lightly toasted bread was served (quite bland) but nicely kicked up with a butter in marinara. Next up was calamari. Lightly crusted and cooked well but almost no flavor at all. Again marinara saved this appetizer. Caesar salad was fair, lacking a prescense of garlic and anchovie hints.
Main courses : Veal Marsala and Chicken Cacciatore. Veal was covered in a thick over floured gravy which and lacking the marsala flavor for which it is named. Fusili pasta was NOT aldente as is advertised as being an art of A’roma. Mixed veggies cooked okay but a bit salty.
Cacciatore served with penne (cooked well) but chicken was drowned in a veggie filled marinara and underwhelming to say the least.
Highlight was the busboy who was most attentive and quite friendly. Could be a nice server if given the chance.
I would say the overall value of this $95 dinner tab was markedly below what an OpenTable diner would expect. We have had premeir service and superior food quality at other Italian restaurants in the OC for far less money. Consequently and unfortunately I just cant recommend A’roma to Open Table or dining friends.

Food was great and service exceptional. A hidden gem in an otherwise boring plaza. The bread basket is awesome, you don’t need to order appetizers unless it’s something that will complement the bread!

There was a group seated in back of room who were pretty loud thereby resulting in everyone else talking louder. Party of two seated behind my table asked to be moved because the noisy bunch were next to their table.

Entire room ended up being quite noisy.

You have to come here and enjoy the dining experience.  The menu had so many selections, it was difficult to decide on which main course to choose.  Pasta definitely and it was amazing.  Lasagna was incredible and the recipe was one of the best.  Dom was our waiter and so very professional and he was attentive to all of our needs.  A most memorable dining experience and don't forget to order the best cheese cake in the world. Ask for Dom to wait on you.

This amazing and incredible North Orange County Italian restaurant is among the best. The service, by Dom, outstanding. Every whim, need, want and desire is fulfilled by the great service exhibited. The pastas and sandwiches are amazing and that cheesecake dessert is mouth watering. A true gem.

I took my wife here to celebrate four months of marriage. The restuarant received excellent reviews, so I figured that it would be a great spot for dinner. We were not disappointed. We shared the crab cakes and each had the salmon stuffed with spinach. The food was hot and tasty. We plan in returning here often.

We had Saturday Date night reservations and regular dining area was pre booked to a special party
We were seated in the Banquet room area which to me was like a school cafeteria room
It isn't right to accept Open Table reservations and not inform the members of the seating was to be in the banquet room
I doubt I'll return for a Date night Dinner again

We arrived promptly and were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from the attentive hostess. Rudy, the bartender, made us wonderful cocktails as we decided to sit at the bar before heading for the dining room. When we decided to eat we were escorted to a quiet window table where we ordered and enjoyed a delicious Italian meal and lovely wine. All in all it was a great evening and we'll be back for more.

The service was wonderful and food delicious. We happened upon it by chance, and it's a bit deceiving from the outside because it looks like any standard restaurant, but it's so inviting and warm once you walk in. They also serve a cheesecake souffle, which we loved. So glad we found it, we'll definitely be back!

I have just finished my lunch at this outstanding restaurant, Aroma Ristorante in La Palma and would like to take this opportunity to extol the virtues of the food, service and general ambiance. The menu is truly a delight for any foodie. If you like pasta, veal, chicken and pizza, this is the only place in North Orange County to dine. Second of all, wait service from Dominico was outstanding. Here is a consummate professional who excels in providing guests with superior customer service. He consistently ensures my dining experience is memorable and special. He is truly deserving of positive accolades and is wonderful. He is knowledgeable about each food item, professional at all times and in tune with the diners needs. He takes enormous pride in his job. I am always greeted with kindness and a smile. He checks in frequently, making sure coffee/water is filled and immediately undertaking any and all requests in an expeditious fashion. His behavior and positive attitude is the direct result of the top notch management style from the Ferrari family. In observing his behavior, I am amazed that he has such control of the restaurant, even during particularly hectic times and yet he seems to be everywhere, doing what needs to be done to ensure customer satisfaction. The kindness he displays, the 'can do' attitude and his whole professionalism, knowledge and courtesy always impresses me. Once again, thanks and appreciation go out to Dominico for always demonstrating the very best and to the Ferrari family for always providing a wonderful and memorable dining experience.

You walk into this wonderful restaurant and are greeted warmly by the hostess. This is only the beginning of a truly remarkable dinner experience - service by Dominico is perfect, along with attentive assistant waiters. The pasta and veal dishes are the very best. Enjoy stepping back into Italy and indulging in outstanding Italian cuisine.

A very well put together place in an unassuming environment (Jimmy Johns Sandwiches two doors down). As with any fine dining style, the waiters and bussers are frequently on the floor and checking in with guests.
With that said, we noticed the white plates were worn and the wine glasses could be a little more shiny. With most entrees priced at around $30 on average, it's hard to understand why certain things weren't more "upscale."
Came for a wedding anniversary and was very impressed by the food, overall. Finished it off with some tasty gelato.

Definitely dine here for superior Italian cuisine. The pasta is the best and the veal dishes are spectacular. Outstanding service in an inviting atmosphere. It needs to be your 'go to' restaurant while dining in North Orange County. The desserts, including the world famous cheesecake is the very best. Enjoy.

Tucked into the corner of a modern but out-of-the-way shopping mall, A'Roma Ristorante offers an extensive variety covering most styles of Italian cuisine in a quiet and refined ambience. Everyone at my table ordered different main courses and all of them were excellent. While it is about 20% more expensive than most top line Italian eateries, it does not disappoint in any area. I give it an A.
