Always solid and predictable
We love this place! The lasagna is the best we have ever had. This is our go to when we want Italian food.

Our daughter and son-in-law were regulars until they moved to MA in summer 2007. Several times on visits home, we have eaten there because they like it and so do we. The know the owner and recognized, this trip, easily, that the hostess was a member of the family and Dad did stop by our table and check on how we were doing. The waiter must have probably thought we were pulling their leg with dessert but we were celebrating: 1) 75th birthday, 2) 56th wedding anniv. 3) the "kids" 30th year, and 4) his Dad's 90th (not with us at luncheon). We have attended to a meal there even when they are not present. We tried to get our good friend, Dewey Erney, who also sings the Great American Songbook, a local celebrity (appeared at Steamers for years), but you did not need his gifted voice as you have others - Don Travis, La Palma, 714-521-6891

Each member of the Ferrari family truly cares about your experience and the cuisine is outstanding. You can never go wrong with meat, pasta and fish dishes and the specials are always a treat. Greeting is always warm by Adriana and Joey; table service from Dom and Ian is top notch, so definitely make your way to this very special restaurant.
Excellent service and everyone enjoyed their entree selection. We were on a restricted time frame and our server was helpful in getting our meals to us promptly. All in all a nice dinner outing.
Best Italian restaurant in town
Fantastic North Orange County institution with world class cuisine. Ian was right on top of everything, as service was superb and world class. Lasagne, chicken special and veal dishes, along with tasty salads, were outstanding and the spumoni ice cream, the very best. All around, a truly wonderful and memorable experience that all should partake.
Been here several times before meeting with good friends. Everyone is always satisfied with their meal.
Maybe it's just me, but A' Roma wasn't what I expected after reading the Open Table reviews. The food was not by any means bad, nor the service... It was, however, a chain-like experience in every respect, from ambiance, to breadth of menu, food, limited wine list, etc. Again, the food and service was "good," just nothing more. It's simply not a place I'd go for an important occasion.

Food is amazing. Recipes been in the family for many years, according to the waiters. I’ve yet to find a dish that is not delicious. Highly recommend it is on the expensive side but once you taste the food you will understand why. The ambiance is a little elegant with people dressed up more than an average restaurant.

What can I say the best as always. Our server Ian is a joy to have wait on us always informative and courteous. Another wonderful meal, wine, and service at Roma's.

Outstanding, fantastic and memorable experience. The food is sensational, as each course is served with loving care. This family owned and operated establishment excels in not only cuisine, but in service as well. The pasta, veal, cheesecake desserts and after dinner drinks are all perfection personified. Still the best Italian food in the area. We come here whenever we are close. The bar is small, but the service is great. Lots of regulars here... Great palce to take a date.
This was our first time. We had tickets to a play so were on a tight schedule. The hostess (one of the owners) who took the reservation was VERY helpful and gave us advice about when to arrive etc. The food was excellent. My husband had the chicken marsala and I have the rigatoni in vodka sauce. Both were very good. We would go back in a minute.

Perfect as always. Ive been there many times god many years. Ian does a great job as a waiter.
I really enjoyed the food but I was very disappointed by the waiter. They had a busy evening, and the waiter treated us like dirt. The other waiters did a much better job with their tables and appeared more attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter did not acknowledge it - the hostess did (we put a note in OpenTable) and I was just annoyed he didn't say a word.
Beyond that, he checked on us ONCE the entire dinner. After letting us put an entree order, he did not ask us about our salad preference (it comes with a comp salad) but we wanted Ceasar Salad. I didn't realize he didn't ask until I heard another table being asked their preference.
When I was served my pasta, he asked me once as he rushed by if it was good (and I had food in my mouth). No parmesan cheese was offered. I had to ask another waitress for parm.
Finally, I had ordered a Gingerale which he did not refill the entire evening. I had to ask towards the end of my meal. We were not offered water. Nothing.
I felt the food was good here and I'd go again but I'd be sure not to sit in his section. He was awful.

Dined here with a party of 5 for my moms birthday. The staff was friendly, very accommodating with all our needs. Menu has a huge selection of pasta, pizza, soup, specialty dishes. Fairly priced and food was absolutely delicious. Even surprised us with a comp birthday dessert. Recommend trying this place out

Food was delicious! Our server was very attentive as were the folks attending to bread and table clearing. They were constantly at our table helping with whatever we needed.
Excellent food, drink, service. Very busy Christmas weekend evening at the restaurant. Great Italian food, worth the price. Our favorite Italian restaurant. Wish to enjoy it. However, this weekend at times it felt we were being rushed.

Fabulous restaurant with marvelous food, great service and good drinks. This is a destination restaurant for me. I live approximately 50 miles away but try to plan outings so that I end them with dinner here. This restaurant is truly a gem.
