Arnold Palmer's Restaurant
If you are any type of Arnold Palmer fan, this restaurant is a must when visiting Palm Springs. And the good was great.
Place is great! Food was excellent! Music awesome!
Could not have been better
The ribs were dry and then smothered in bbq sauce
The traditional meat loaf was also smothered in sauce
Beet salad was delicious
Beautiful restaurant. A favorite every time we visit.
Fantastic! From the valet to the receptionist to the server the service was great. The menu selections were varied and delicious. We enjoyed the total experience. We will book a return visit soon.
Amazing dinner with the girls!
We had a beautiful, romantic dinner on the outdoor patio. Nice music. Could cut my filet with a fork.
We tried this restaurant while visiting from out of town and it was fabulous. The bacon wrapped dates were a perfect appetizer! Extensive wine list enabled us to taste a few wines before settling on a bottle. Soft live music playing was a perfect accompaniment to our meal.
Highly recommend if your in the area!
Very good food, and excellent service. We had not been there often and appreciated the fact that it is still a great place to go.
Our favorite restaurant in the la Quinta area. Always great food and service. Sat on the beautiful patio with live music background. I had the scallops and spouse had prime rib. Wonderful meal for our 48th wedding anniversary! Recommend this place to anyone and everyone!❤️
Salmon and halibut were outstanding. The date skewers are the best in the valley!
Amazing food and service
Magnificent scallops. Salmon was a small piece only. Lake Superior whitefish delicious.
Arnold Palmers in LaQuinta CA is a first class restaurant. We enjoyed every aspect of the evening, and topped it off with a visit to his special equipment and awards room, where we saw so many trophy's, pictures, golf equipment, shoes, paintings, books, it was amazing. We are returning soon.
This restaurant has the absolute best service in town. Everything in the menus is excellent but especially the cauliflower steak.
The executive chef Matt Briggs has made a huge impact on the food quality! So good! Especially the butter cake! YUM! Loved the guitar music on the patio!
we ate outside on the patio
The guitarist was amazing He did not play loudly, but softly and had a wide range of music.
He would play requests.
The food had lovely presentation, and was excellent.
Never a bad meal. Love the outdoor patio, and our waitress was outstanding. Mark the guitar player was very well-versed in all kinds of music. He took many requests and he did an outstanding job. Kudos to all that work there
Very nice evening
Cory is an excellent and very professional wait person. The fish dishes were excellent.
Excellent as usual
We loved everything about Arnold Palmer's restaurant. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the 30th and I can't think of a better place to begin our 31st year! Thanks.
Celebrated our daughter’s 24th birthday at Arnold Palmers. Sat outside, beautiful setting. Guitarist, Mark, was incredible. Our waiter, John, was THE BEST!! He took very good care of us. The food was so delicious. Only wish this restaurant was closer to our home in South OC!
Lovely as always. A good comfort food menu with nice wine selections and cocktails. We enjoy sitting on your beautiful patio, nicely recessed and landscaped so that breezy evenings are still enjoyable outside. Food, service and cocktails never disappoint!!!
Service terrific. The absence of Mr. Palmer's memorial table was a little disappointing; could have remained out of
So happy to have Arnold Palmer’s back from their summer break. All the upgrades look wonderful! Our server Corey made our dinner even extra special. The food and service were outstanding. AP’s remains one of our favorites!
What a treat, sitting at Arnold’s table, enjoying the memories, great service, wonderful food. Such a special place with to celebrate a special birthday.
An absolutely perfect evening at Arnold’s. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and the food and ambiance ( on the patio) could not have been better. Even the gentleman on the guitar all night was spot on.
Would have been nice touch if our server had acknowledged our anniversary... after all she did ask if we were celebrating anything special. Oh well... I guess 40’s not that special?
In any case we’ll always return to Arnies place whenever we’re visiting the desert.
Great food, wonderful service, the outside patio dining experience with the guitar player was awesome. Definitely worth a trip for those nice occasions
We prefer to sit on the other side of the restaurant is what we prefer but this time they had us seat at the right side of the restaurant, too quite.
Oh how I hat negative reviews.
Let’s start with the good. Our waiter, Caesar was wonderful, personable, and greeted us by name.
We sat on the patio, which had live music and is beautiful. You do get street noise when a loud car goes by, but all in all a fantastic setting. We were there for a fairly late (8pm) dinner, but we’re still surprised by the drunken f-bombs at two tables around us. I have a real potty mouth, but seriously people, it’s a nice establishment
Now, to the pretty pricey food... note it was the 2nd night after opening from their summer remodel.
Hubby ordered a pomegranate martini for me. It was a trying too hard to be unique cocktail. It had grapefruit, which is fine. But the lychee syrup ruined it. It tasted like lychee, which is very sweet.
The bread tasted more stale than crisp. If you’re like me and only eat bread when it’s amazing, you can skip it.
The appetizer, vegetarian pot stickers were meh, but the sauce was good.
The date strawberry salad was ok, but not great. It was supposed to have goat cheese but if it did, I didn’t notice. Let’s just say I wouldn’t ask a friend for the recipe.
Hubby had the meatloaf. It was mushy and didn’t have a lot of flavor. He said the sauce tasted like catsup. $28 bucks.
I had the branzino with scallop mouse, topped with a tasty sauce with almonds and onions. It was pretty good. Again, not great. Didn’t notice any scallop mouse. $38 bucks.
We ordered the peanut butter torte, which came frozen, so they brought us the flourless chocolate cake. The flourless chocolate vale was like the pomegranate martini, over powered by an ingredient that didn’t seem to jive, I believe it was anise.
Anyway, it’s a gorgeous setting , we had great service, and the memorabilia is certainly fun. Hope they get the food on track because it’s dam expensive. The “water bug” that scattered by while we were paying the check was unsettling. They are a hazard of the trade. I’d just rather not see one.
Always fantastic food and service! One of our favourite spots to eat in La Quinta.
Great place - my daughter had the best steak (fillet mignon) of her life. Definitely recommended.
Delicious food cooked exactly how you specify and comes out hot. Service was friendly, professional, and attentive. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the ambiance and custom restaurant interior. Will definitely be back.
Emily as a server in the bar area was great! Food top notch and the lobster was tasty!
We ate dinner outside during the best part of the evening. It was a wonderful experience for an old fan and friend of Arnold's.
We were so looking forward to our dinner here and were not disappointed. Good food and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Overal great dining experience. The atmosphere was lovey and food was delicious
