Our waitress was OUTSTANDING! Food was excellent. Had not eaten at Arni's in a long time. We use to frequent old 86th location because close to our work place. We were in front area by windows. Only thing slightly negative I heard was some folks were cold, little drafty. I would eat there again in a heartbeat!!!
Food was great but the waitress was not friendly or attentive
Great food and service.
Always a good experience. Good pizza and we love the junior salads
We had excellent waitress who was very accommodating! Food was good - loved the mushrooms and garlic cheese bread appetizers - great to share. Cobb salad was all right, but I've had better. We were in booth right on edge of bar, but it was surprisingly quiet there on a Friday early evening, so 3 of us were able to visit...
Have always enjoyed the pizza here. Our order was delayed for some reason but the manager offered us free garlic bread while we waited. Appreciated this gesture although our order came just moments later.
Great service and food, thank you!
Arni's at River Ridge never disappoints. My friends and I go there about once a month and have been doing so for a few years. The food is always excellent, as is the service. We always sit in the bar (to avoid all the children in the other part of the restaurant), and are never rushed or hassled in any way. We probably spend 2 hours eating, drinking and chatting. It's a great place to meet friends and relax.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the reservation GPS had us waaaay east on 96th at using name/address on card. Had us in a field .
We had a faboulius time and our waitress was exceptional! I never had an empty glass.
It was a busy Friday night. Our meal and service was ok.
Popped in for an Arni's Jr Saturday night, had reservations and didn't wait long to be seated even though there were tons of people there. Several very large tables near us with kids, but the noise wasn't deafening, at least. In spite of the large crowd, we got our salads quickly. Enjoyed them as always and then skidaddled.
I remember going THE Arni’s at Market Square with my mom, when I was a kid in the early 70s. It was just down from Fannie Mays and I didn’t go to one without visiting the other. Arni’s is still my favorite pizza and the Arni’s Jr salads are delicious . The last time I was at the original Arni’s was in high school. A friend took me there as payment for making new bumper brackets in shop class for her car. Nothing against the New Albany, Monticello, Greenwood or the 96th Street restaurants, but the pizza just seemed to taste better on the Formica and chrome tables at Market Square.
Been here many times and it never disappoints. Jillian is the best server ever. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Drinks are plentiful and also at a reasonable price. Only problem was they ran out of our favorite scotch. Maybe that was our fault. Oops.
very pleased!!! Great place, we will be back. Love the senior salad
They screw up my salad dressing, it used to be my favorite, and it was somewhat pricey. The server was nice, and friendly, but I was not please to get a my favorite salad with the wrong dressing.
They were very accommodating, great service, good food. Staff were ready for our group.
Great food and service The quality of food is consistently good as is the service.
Our waiter was fantastic. I had family in town and was thinking it might be a good place for a nicer dinner with kids and my expectations were exceeded. Thanks!!
First time visit to this restaurant. Not very impressed. Our server spoke and acted as if she did not want to be there and it was a pain in the butt to be waiting on us. This server made my first experience at this restaurant my last. I will not return.
Arni's is always reliable from this Purdue grad. The Senior salad split between two people is perfect!
Went Sunday for Father's Day. Took very long time to get appetizer of bone-in wings only to get boneless wings which we did not order. Long wait for refills, wrong pizza. Definitely not what we expected. Table beside us also had issues.
We had a yummy meal. The service was excellent! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!
I gave my experience at Arni's a 3 star only because my previous experiences there have been great. I reserved a table for 10 people and called to adjust the time of the reservation earlier in the day. The hostess said no problem. We arrived at 4:30pm. The restaurant was not busy and should have been seated right away. Out table for 10 was not ready and the waiters had to move tables together. It really should have been ready for us. I had a reservation and called to confirm. We ordered lots of different items. My favorite is always the pizza. So, I ordered pizza to share with two other people. The pizza came out luke warm. My husband memntioned the temperature of the pizza to our waiter , Justin, and he didn't seem to really care. He said sorry about that. We had to ask for refills on drinks a lot. Just not what I have experienced before at Arni's . We had family in from out of town and thought they would enjoy the food. It was just ok this time.
Held a table open for us on Mother's Day -- that is great!
Excellent salad and soup
They made a mistake on the pizza order. The waitress was aware before we had to say anything and as she brought out the incorrect pizza immediately let us know the correct one was coming but we could start on the incorrect one at no charge. Handled excellently!
The staff and wait service were very accommodating of our large group. They took care of our individual needs without a problem and allowed us the privacy to enjoy each other's company without constant interruption.
Very good service, friendly, low key, good for eating out with children and good food.
Picked this restaurant for gluten free menu. Pizza (which is an Udi's crust) breadsticks and soup was the menu. I ordered chicken and rice soup which was cream based. Glad I asked for a double check of the ingredients- it was NOT gluten free. Not an apology from the manager or server and I had to ask for the soup to be taken off the bill. The service was terrible, drinks not filled, and the food from the regular menu as my family described it was the same from GFS.
If you're Gluten Free due to health reasons ...do not eat here.
Have always had good experience here but Thursday was not so great regarding service.
My group chose Arni's for an informal get-together. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, to satisfy everyone's tastes. The Arni's Junior/Senior salad is scrumptious.
Arni's is a family favorite. The pizza is great as well as the salads.
Today I decided to go with the Stromboli, it was great. I love the small sausage.
Service was good and all went well.
Service was subpar. Waitress did not have answers to any of our questions. Including ingredients in menu items and what the house wines were.....these answers should be known. Slow to bring bill.
Food was very good. Went for an elementary and we're sad to not be seated in the main dining area where all the other kids were. 😕 .
Went for our anniversary. Enjoyed the chicken BBQ pizza! And of course the Arnis Junior Salad. Tried the ginger dressing. Was delicious!
Overall a good experience, menu is solid. Folks next to us ordered pizza and it looked very good.
Took my mom here while she was visiting from NC. The service is always exceptional. They have an extensive menu and everything I have ordered has been delicious! A neighborhood gem.
Shouldn't charge more for kids gluten free items. Not their fault that they where born with celiac.
The server was definitely the worst server ever!! The Manager knew the server was bad and would not make eye contact with out table. Apps where good pizza ok, cheesesteak and Strombol was nasty. Please do not eat here. We dine out three times per week and this place is horrible.
Pizza was good.
