Arni's Restaurant River Ridge
Jillian took great care of us as always! The food is always good and so are the drink specials!
I had the pizza and it was excellent. Service was great. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly.
Was perfect place to meet for dinner before the Fuel Game!
We love Arni’s and eat there almost weekly! The salads are great; I love the pizza! We have friends who have moved out-of-state whose first stop is Arni’s when they return to Indiana!
The food was not as great as the lAst time we were there.
The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding.
Don't expect to find Arni's a quiet place or resemble fine dining, and you'll be pleased. It took a while for our waitress to recognize that we had been seated (she looked a bit stunned when she spotted us), but after that, the service was pretty good. They have a decent Stromboli sandwich, but they use crumbled sausage instead of a slab or pattie. We also had a gyro, which would be worth having again. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Great family place.
I had asked to be put in a corner away from everyone because we are a loud group and needed to be able to talk to everyone in our group. They had people in the area they had planned for us when we arrived without any alternative seating plans for us. They seated us late for our reservation and in the middle of the restaurant at a long table so we couldn’t see or talk to each other. The location was ridiculously tight in relation to other tables. They did offer free appetizers for the late seating. Our server was outstanding and the food was good and orders were correct. Not sure I would take a large group there again☹️.
The food was delicious, but the service was unfortunately very slow.
All the waitstaff and bussers working together was so nice to see. Even people who had to wait didn't need to wait very long.
I love the way they cut their toppings. It just makes their pizza and salads taste way better. We will be back!
Good pizza with lots of toppings! Great place for a family get together.
love this place, the senior salads are the best. we come back for them every time.
We made a reservation for 8:30 on Monday night. We got to the location at 8:21 and waited until 8:40. There was no employee at the greeters stand nor did anyone even pass by during that time we were waiting.
In order for us to search for a waiter we would have had to walk into the separated dining room. We tried to look in and while we could see customers there were no employees we could see.
After 20 minutes we figured our business wasn’t that important to them and left and went elsewhere.
Aaron W. was a super sweet and knowledgeable server. We had 9 in our party with multiple checks, which was the only confusion experienced. Overall, the service was slow, but we enjoyed the food and company.
Got a delicious wedge salad; ordered jumbo wings but they didn’t seem jumbo to us and barely any celery. Ordered two pizzas - the bbq chicken seemed to be all cheese not enough sauce. The deluxe pizza was good-could have been hotter.
The pizza and wings were amazing. It did take a long time to get a cookie skillet for dessert, but is was well worth the wait.
Arni's is a great restaurant for pizza, beer, and Arni's salad
Enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere at Arni's to celebrate my 49th birthday. My guess came in at different times with no lack of service when they sat down to take their order. Great place for special occasions for mid-sized groups.
Arni’s food is always good, but man, they have GOT to do something to dampen the noise level in there. That open ceiling design makes it unbearably loud when the place is full with families. Service was very slow, although the server was very nice.
Arni's is a casual, reasonably priced restaurant on the north edge of Indianapolis. It has both a dining area and a bar and a large patio area for outdoor dining. Most of our party got sandwiches; I had the salmon salad and it was very good. Our server was fine although he didn't really go out of his way. Food was served quickly making the wait time very reasonable for a sit-down restaurant.
Arni's has good pizza and a very big outdoor patio, where we also were able to bring our dog. We had a yummy pizza using the yelp offer, a large with up to 5 toppings for $12.99. Our server was a lovely young women who was on the ball!
Always excellent and reliable!
After a dozen visits in past year - super disappointing. Soup was served cold. Had to constantly “flag-down” our server for service / attention. When I asked for soup to be warmed-up, server admitted I got “the bottom of the bowl.” Really??? Sad experience overall.
Ordered the pizza and bread sticks. Bread stick usually come before the meal, waitress never got them to me till after the main course was served. By the time i got them they were look warm. They still charged me for them, should be a no brainier to take them off the bill if an app come out after the main course.
Our waitress was OUTSTANDING! Food was excellent. Had not eaten at Arni's in a long time. We use to frequent old 86th location because close to our work place. We were in front area by windows. Only thing slightly negative I heard was some folks were cold, little drafty. I would eat there again in a heartbeat!!!
Food was great but the waitress was not friendly or attentive
Great food and service.
Always a good experience. Good pizza and we love the junior salads
We had excellent waitress who was very accommodating! Food was good - loved the mushrooms and garlic cheese bread appetizers - great to share. Cobb salad was all right, but I've had better. We were in booth right on edge of bar, but it was surprisingly quiet there on a Friday early evening, so 3 of us were able to visit...
Have always enjoyed the pizza here. Our order was delayed for some reason but the manager offered us free garlic bread while we waited. Appreciated this gesture although our order came just moments later.
Great service and food, thank you!
Arni's at River Ridge never disappoints. My friends and I go there about once a month and have been doing so for a few years. The food is always excellent, as is the service. We always sit in the bar (to avoid all the children in the other part of the restaurant), and are never rushed or hassled in any way. We probably spend 2 hours eating, drinking and chatting. It's a great place to meet friends and relax.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the reservation GPS had us waaaay east on 96th at using name/address on card. Had us in a field .
We had a faboulius time and our waitress was exceptional! I never had an empty glass.
It was a busy Friday night. Our meal and service was ok.
Popped in for an Arni's Jr Saturday night, had reservations and didn't wait long to be seated even though there were tons of people there. Several very large tables near us with kids, but the noise wasn't deafening, at least. In spite of the large crowd, we got our salads quickly. Enjoyed them as always and then skidaddled.
I remember going THE Arni’s at Market Square with my mom, when I was a kid in the early 70s. It was just down from Fannie Mays and I didn’t go to one without visiting the other. Arni’s is still my favorite pizza and the Arni’s Jr salads are delicious . The last time I was at the original Arni’s was in high school. A friend took me there as payment for making new bumper brackets in shop class for her car. Nothing against the New Albany, Monticello, Greenwood or the 96th Street restaurants, but the pizza just seemed to taste better on the Formica and chrome tables at Market Square.
