Had a lovely dinner. Great service, food choices were excellent. Everything was delicious. Loved the live music. Just the right volume to stay in the background so you could still hear each other.
Had a reservation and got seated right away then promptly ignored. Noticed all other tables were getting chips and salsa. After 15 min asked for some and it was brought over. 2 different servers took drink order and when it finally came it was incorrect. Food came quickly once ordered and was delicious. Check was wrong then when adjusted would not show itemized list to confirm correct amount. A large group with multiple screaming kids and no parental control made conversation impossible. That group should have been sat in private room so other patrons could enjoy their supper. I’ll try again, hoping this was an anomaly but one more time is all I’ll give them.
Mother’s Day brunch was perfect! My mom lived it!
The brunch is amazing. A little pricey but worth it for special occasions. My mom loves it here and made her mother's day special. The servers are so friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing with authentic Mexican flavors. Def. recommend!
VERY disappointing. We chose this place for our Mothers Day celebration— went on a Sunday with a reservation. 6 of us ordered and only one thing was good- seafood enchiladas and their Mexican rice (don’t get the green rice standard on some meals). Soup was made with pkg of frozen vegetables that has the square carrots in it, fried shrimp completely normal and cost $29! And it only came with bland green rice. We saw everyone eating chips but us so we asked waiter for chips and salsa after we’d already ordered our meals and been there a while. Our waiter was rude. He seemed mad we didn’t get the buffet. Did not smile ever, spoke short, acted like he was snobbish, annoyed to serve us, and his name badge said he worked there since 2013 so I guess he’s considered someone they like. Bad to mediocre very over priced food and rude wait staff. And we drove over an hour choosing this restaurant out of all of them based on reviews and had gluten free menu items. Seems like reviews have to be friends writing for them! A waste of money, gas, and time . And I am not picky. I am half glass full person that likes most everywhere I go.
THE PERFECT MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH!!! The food was fresh and delicious and there was a vast array of options. You can never go wrong with unlimited mimosas. Our server was so kind, he even made us mango mimosas. I will definitely be back. My 9 year old enjoyed the waffles and fresh omelettes.
We love going here for the food, service and the "people watching" too. Wee there last Saturday evening on the eve of Mother's Day and were most pleased, as usual . The food and drinks were top shelf. The only minor issue was that our server did not place my wife's order along with mine. I have special dietary needs and that took his focus from my wife's order. It was quickly rectified and we both enjoyed our dinners at the same time. things will happen -- how you deal with them defines the experience. The people watching was great with a princes with her crown and wand enjoying a birthday dinner at the next table. Great place -- great food and great service.
The food and service was outstanding. Delicious and authentic Mexican dishes. Very nice atmosphere and open decor. Will visit again!
Just outstanding food and the selection was amazing. How many places can one get rabbit (which is what I had), venison and wild boar? Any time I am in Houston, I will make it a point to dine there.
Cinco de Mayo celebration. Must admit we should have known it was going to take time to be served but not 45 minutes after ordering. The food is fabulous and I’ll just have to remember to not go there during CDM! Otherwise we love the place, especially when Abraham is our waiter!!!
I would recommend going for the queso flameado and enjoying one of the many margarita options.
Tampiquena, Noir margaritas, and service exceptional
Great Sunday brunch. Good selection of food and wonderful service.
I do live Pico's. Nicest folks anywhere. We had the buffet. Great selection but perhaps not as tasty as ordering from the menu.
Been to Pico's many times, decided to try the Easter Brunch. Won't do it again. Prime rib was was tough and gamey, fish was dry, black beans cold. For 40+ dollars, the best part of the meal were the tortillas. Not saying I won't go back, but won't go back for any brunch/buffet.
Greatest Buffet ever !!
Loved it, ate stuff that I didn’t recognize and enjoyed it. I will be going back.
I bet you have not had a great breakfast like they serve here
Very unique menu. Traditional Mexican food. The Resturant was established 37 years ago. Our waiter Soloman has been their 27 years. Fabulous food and all around great experience.
Best margaritas in town!!!! Love their pozole and the oysters.
Always a great place to eat Mex-Mex food!
Great food and the best ritas. Good happy hour! I frequent this restaurant a lot. My go to.
We had a lovely meal as always and our sweet waiter, Hector, even brought us 2 small pieces of cake to celebrate 2 birthdays!
Interesting place........... we went based on a recommendation from so friends. Food was ok, but not something that I would bother with again. Service was so-so. Our table would have enjoyed another Margarita or wine, but we were never asked and our server did not check on us but once when I food came.
I would not say that the noise level was energetic, but really loud.
Todo esta riquisimo tortitas de camaron yummy postre delicioso recomendado 100 %
We had the fajita special and the meat was very chewy.
We were a table of 12. Food and Service were outstanding. We never wanted for anything. If we thought of something it was produced in record time. We were entering friends from put of town. They loved everything they tasted. They have already to go back the next time they are in Houston. A excellent Family owned restaurant
Great service and food. Seated promptly after arriving.
Disappointing compared to my previous dinners at Pico's.
Best breakfast in town I highly recommend it great service great food great owners and great chef
Loved the breakfast omelettes and fresh fruit. Great palomas.
We went here for my sister in laws 26th birthday and Picos did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and attentive, the drinks were delicious, and the food was absolutely amazing! Best of all, they sang happy birthday too!! Fantastic food and amazing experience overall, I will be coming back here again.
Celebrating our son-in-law’s birthday! His FAVE restaurant!! We all had a wonderful meal and celebration!!!!
Chef Arnaldo does it again. WOW !!!
we used to enjoy coming here but this visit we found the service lacking, it took quite a while for the waiter to come over and take drink orders. I ordered a Paloma but the bar was out of grapefruit juice. We ordered the mixed grill to share for 2 and the meats were pretty tasteless, no seasoning even on the pork ribs.
We were disappointed and probably won't be back There are just so many Mexican restaurants in Houston.
Please train your servers to have checks ready right away! When people want to leave they want to leave right away! I didn’t give a lower score because I love this restaurant and I am Hopeful management will address this comment!
Birthday gathering. Nice food and service but service was not very efficient. Good thing we weren’t in a rush!
Service was excellent. Good was tasty. Loved it. Look forward to returning
Great casual Mexican food - far-ranging menu, excellent drinks menu and incredible service. Only concern high noise level in crowded room.
Food was so delicious!
