Order the daily special. I ordered the Bolognese which was delicious...could have had more sauce less pasta.

Waitress was awesome!!!

The location is perfect, and the ambiance was lovely. It was cozy, yet classy. The server was amazing. She knew why different things were used in each dish, and the desired outcome of the flavour combinations. I will for sure be going back! As a side note, the food was also incredible.

Our outing to AR was great! Lots of GF options, delicious food, and a great adult setting for a dinner outing.

Everything was wonderful except the table of 8 behind us who were actually screaming at each other as if they were at a concert. We complained several times to our server as did the table beside us but I did not hear anyone ask them to tone it down. It was almost impossible to converse with my friend across the table from me. It really did ruin the evening. I have been to your restaurant many times and this is the first time I have had that experience. Not sure if I should have spoken to them myself.

Had a lovely date night with the missus. Reserved on a Friday night which got us a window seat. Had the beet salad, chicken penne and the AAA steak, followed by crème brule. All excellent. Cozy, quiet and a great end to the week.

We were disappointed with our meal. The calamari, which used to be our favourite, had thick batter and the dipping tomato sauce was sweet and not spicy as advertised. Not at all what it used to be like. The spaghetti sauce had a strange spice flavour . Service was great.

I have been to the Arms many many times. In the past I had always enjoyed the food. And while the service still remains excellent the “main” dishes have been changed. I had always relied on the “Angry Chicken “ but it had been removed. The other selections were not appealing but tried the Coq au vin”.
Bland and tasteless. I am not enticed to return any time soon.

We went for brunch on a rainy Sunday morning. The brunch options are limited but reasonably priced and nicely presented. The venue is small and intimate with a nice view of the water (we had a window seat) and the service was good, wait staff friendly and competent. All in all a pleasurable experience.

Arms Reach Bistro is a lovely place to eat. The view is beautiful, the food excellent and service attentive. I went with friends and we never felt rushed. It really was some of the best food I've had in a long time. Not cheap but worth the money.

Small, quaint restaurant. Menu is small but food was good, service was good. We didn't have a view but if you get a window seat it is quite lovely. Patio offers blankets and is dog-friendly. Better for small parties.

Good food, great service but very noisy atmosphere. Close quarters doesn't help. If you want a quiet, intimate meal - go on a Tuesday, not Friday.

Our favorite local go-to for special occasions and just mid-winter comfort food. You can't go wrong with the baked pasta or any of the fresh seafood.

Food was excellent like always. The Mussels were spicier then usual. I still really enjoyed them but they were a bit much for my wife. We have had them here numerous times and I wouldn't generally say they were too spicy for Caucasian Canadians. I had the Kale Salad. It was excellent. Our kids had the baked spaghetti. It's always hard to know whether to get the half order or full order for our kids as they are growing.

Always a favourite: good food at a reasonable price; never poor service; grade A location; excellent wine selection. Sorry to see that a couple of favourite items are no longer on the menu - understand the need to change the menu from time to time but disappointing of course if the items are a personal favourite. Don't ever remove the beef carpaccio though, that'll end our relationship!!

We were disappointed in the menu - it had very few lunch options compared to previous visits there. The service was good but we were not impressed with the food. The parking is a nightmare in Deep Cove on a busy weekend. We will choose another restaurant when we go out with friends next time.

Visited Arms Reach for brunch after a hike nearby. I had the kale and goat cheese frittata, and it was exceptional for something so simple. Very high-quality ingredients. My friend had the hash bowl, and it was reportedly great. Friendly service, lovely view of Deep Cove and our food was quick to come out. We'll be back!

Excellent location in the heart of Deep Cove, excellent wines and spirits selection. Appetizer and main were excellent.
Personally, I think that main courses are a bit overpriced.
I strongly suggest going there after 8.30 pm, the acoustic is not a strong suit, and if rooms are full it can be noisy. After 9/9.30 is much better, fewer people and you can actually enjoy the view on Deep Cove Marina.
Overall, very good experience.

Server was very smelly and dirty. It was a bit offensive honestly but the rest of the staff and management didn’t seem to say anything about her apron and clothing or the pungent smell. Her greasy hair and touching her hands to her mouth so many times as she was grabbing forks and plates disturbed me as well. By the time I was waiting for my food we were already regretting going. The food was... ok. Ate and left. I’ve been here other times and it’s more like a 3 star if you have a clean and good smelling server. This visit in particular was painful.

We have had lunch there before and that was delicious. Dinner was amazing. Our vegan son and lactose intolerant daughter found items on the menu for them. Their first time there and they will go back and same for my husband and I. Server was lovely, not intrusive but attentive.
