With authentic Northern Italian cuisine, the new Armani’s restaurant features a fresh, sophisticated design and an atmosphere ideal for a romantic dinner for two, a get-together with friends or an upscale business function. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tampa Bay, guests can take in spectacular panoramic views during dinner and enjoy a drink on the outdoor patio before or after their meal.
Armani’s signature antipasto bar allows guests to create their own first course from a selection of more than 30 items and a dedicated station offers fresh made-to-order Caesar salads. The “primi piatti” menu includes vegetarian, pasta and soup selections, while main courses range from veal scaloppini with a porcini-truffle reduction to bison ribeye over Italian gratin.

Armani's Ratings and Reviews
Hadn't been there in years. It was simply superb -- perfect food, wonderful service, and great atmosphere. We did learn that although no tables were available on Open Table until after 8:30 over three weeks ahead, when I called them direct, it was no problem getting a reservation at any time we wanted and they actually changed our 8:30 Open Table reservation to 7. And oddly there were empty tables the whole time we were there.
Misto plate, chefs choice...shrimp tasted like pre frozen from Publix, mussels were inedible.
Into entrees- Veal chop was undercooked by a lot so it had to be send back. The manager stopped by while that entree was missing and asked how everything was...not realizing a whole plate was missing.
The strip was mediocre at best.
We ordered dessert feeling as though at least that would be good. It wasn’t. The crime brûlée was served cold and had the texture and taste of flan. I wish I were joking.
The white chocolate cheesecake was a tiny square. Maybe a tablespoon in size and the taste was less than desirable.
I will give the ambiance a thumbs up. The food, was absolutely horrible. I’ve had better food at chain steakhouses. Waste of an anniversary.
We have enjoyed Armani's several times over the years and this is the first time I have written a review -- All the times before it would have been 5 stars across the board -- this time the service was disappointing. Our meal took over three hours -- no due to great lingering conversation, but because of slow and a less than endearing waiter who I had to request come to our table twice.
The gentleman at the antipasta bar was the bright light of the evening -- if you go there, don't miss that experience and great appetizer selection.
There are many great restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. What sets Armani's apart is the service. The staff is excellent! They don't hover and were always there when we needed them. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the menu offerings and gave us great information and recommendations. It's a very complicated dance for servers to be friendly, attentive, helpful, pleasant and professional without intruding on a patron's dining experience. In "fine dining" restaurants, I often feel that the servers are controlling my evening (kind of a pet peeve of mine). Our server was very professional and seemed authentically friendly. He was helpful, efficient and even funny. And all in just the right amounts. We were not rushed through dinner at all. In fact, more than once we were told to take our time to decide what we wanted. And when we did decide, he was right there to take our order. As I said, there are plenty of places where you can get a great meal (don't get me wrong... the food at Armani's was excellent!). But I would give the service at Armani's my highest possible rating. It made all the difference. My wife and I will definitely go back again!
Made reservations a couple of weeks prior, asked for window table quiet spot - for nice romantic dinner with wife prior to Christmas. When we arrived restaurant was half full. Were offered window in entrance to restaurant, heavy traffic area. Were told that's all they had in window. Complained to manager whose response was that they could not keep table empty till we arrived. So much for class - why waste time making request!
Food mediocre, wife asked for duck dish, came with noodles, not seasoned - bland. Asked for osso buco, over polenta, dry- reheated. Won't waste my time or money there again.
Had an amazing experience as always. Our service was over the top. Stephany was amazing and catered to our children ages 6 & 9. The restaurant is very elegant but yet they do not make it stuffy. We had an a amazing view to watch the airplanes take off and land. Truly a great experience for kids with a very reasonable kids menu and what better way to stay distracted than watching airplanes fly in the dark.
Didn't like new menu. Small portions. Beet green salad with walnut & limoncello dressing couldn't taste dressing. Fish/ lobster risotto the risotto was like mush. Veal with roasted vegetables had 2 small roasted tomatoes. Really the only good thing was the antipasto platter. Ambiance was great but food was meh.
