Great dining experience. Very comfortable and casual ambience. Started with a terrific cocktail and delicious complementary Parkerhouse rolls. There were so many choices among the snacks and appetizers it was difficult to choose. Ended up deciding on the tuna conserva, which was delicious. All of my reading online suggested that the short rib was the dish to order. It wasn’t on the menu, but when I asked my server she said it was available upon request. Glad I asked. It was insanely good. The Flan was unique and lives up to its reputation as one of the best in Miami. Wines by the glass were excellent and service was superb. This was a great experience and I would most definitely come back. One of my best meals in Miami.
Can’t say enough about how lovely Ariete is. The ambiance is perfect... nice, but not pretentious. The service is impeccable. And the food is something special. I recently took a client of ours out and they raved about it. It was a treat for all of us and everyone promised to go back. I highly HIGHLY recommend it.
Great as always! A+ for our waiter! And the pasteleros A++++
The French Ruled - fois gras topped French Toast - sweet and savory 2.0. My taste buds thank you.
Overpriced, average service. Venison was cold. Sweet potato pasta not palatable. Ceviche uncomfortably spicy. Tamal was definitely not a tamal and 21% tip on party of 6 or more. Only salvageable plate was the snapper, not sure if worth the price. Not returning.
Truly amazing brunch, food was amazing and service was great. Ambiance is so relaxing too. Love it
Grilled oysters and venison tartare were great. Ceviche was awful the lamb ribs were undercooked and the agnolotti were too sweet undercooked and needed more of the uni butter
I was really looking forward to dining here because of the many great reviews. I have to say I was rather disappointed overall. The ambiance is quite nice. We were fortunate to be dining on beautiful cool night, so we sat outside. The trees, plants and lighting made for a nice ambiance. The music, not so much. There was a single speaker blaring that seem to trying to service the entire outdoor area. They certainly need to invest in a better audio system but that’s an aside. Our server was ok. Not great but got the job done. On to out food... to start we ordered oysters and a maduros and cheese appetizer (forgot the exact name). The oysters were tiny and nothing special. The maduros and cheese dish was certainly interesting and can recommend. They served warm bread which was yummy. Our entrees were snapper and a lamb rib dish. The lamb was quite good and easily a highlight of the meal. The meat fell of the bone and the sweet sauce added a nice touch. The snapper on the other hand was rather dry and poorly filet’d and full of fishbones. The seasoning was ok but the lack of any sauces made it pretty boring. We also had the tamal en cazuela side and it was interesting but not too special. We ordered a couple of drinks, the better one being a gin/cucumber drink. The flan desert was excellent. Overall, there was not a dish we had that we will crave enough to want to come back for. Especially considering we paid about $165 (b4 tip) for the 2 of us.
Awesome, creative food! Thought the lunch menu could have been a little longer, but the fritas and the tacos were delicious!
We ordered nearly the entire menu and everything was incredible. The service from josh was great and the entire experience was epic. Ariete is king!
Great atmosphere. Not too big, so there’s a coziness to it. Outdoor area looks nice, even though I dined indoors. Ordered the venison, which tasted great. Generous drinks menu, and service was attentive.
Service was slow and disorganized. Vegetables in chicken dish were cold. Have been there several times and had a good meal.this time it did not deliver
The place was beautiful but unfortunately the service was not to die for and the food - well my wife got served and then I did 10 mins later therefore she waited and then her food was cold.
Very laid back attitude and not attentive to the customer details. I asked for salt and pepper 4 times before someone else getting it for me.
Wouldn’t go again.
Limited menu and their signature dish was "sold out". Not one specials dish and service that was beyond bad. 25 minutes to get a charcuterie board appetizer (hmmm there is nothing to actually COOK on a charcuterie board), 35 minutes between appetizer and main dishes except only 3 of the 4 dishes came out. The final dish came out when the rest of us were done eating. Waiter was missing in action throughout the meal (and the restaurant was NOT full). Finally, we order two desserts and they come out at two different times, got the second one when we were done eating the first. Bad, bad, bad
Excellent gourmet food and good wine selection. Together with the stylish interior and atmosphere, it makes it the best I’ve tried in the Grove.
Food was inedible. We ordered the grilled fish and it was overcooked. The mashed corn side dish was very bland and tasted like it had freezer burn. We didnt eat any of our food and asked the server to remove it from the check. She obliged but didnt ask us what was wrong, whether we wanted something else, etc.
service was extremely poor—had to ask 3 times for a glass of ice. The server didnt check on us once and our appetizers came out before our drinks.
Cant recommend this place when there are so many other amazing options on Miami.
The manager offered us a gift card to come back—we declined. Free food wouldnt bring us back to this restaurant.
We booked a table for a date. Service was good. The starter was ok, foie gras. The main dish was a snapper with so much salt in the sauce that I simply could not eat it. It has never happened to me before. The desert was a chocolate churros that wasn't any special. I was sorry because I had heard from friends that the restaurant is really good. Maybe I was just not lucky.
They have an Interesting menu and nice outdoor seating area. Staff was well informed and service very good.
consistently great food, service is always a bit lacking.
Food is always great here. Went there once for brunch, and now for a New Years Eve 6 course meal. Both times the food was phenomenal, the drinks were perfect, but most of all the service we received from the staff was second to none. Ariete will always get my business
A 305 standout. Best flan on planet
Very unique menu but somewhat limited. The beef short ribs were excellent along with the Brussels
Great server -explained the Menu well. A combo of Cuban and Bahama food. Beautiful presentation and very tasty. Loved dining outside in wonderful Florida weather in December'
It was a very good experience. We went for brunch and the food was outstanding, the French toast sticks, the pulled rib omelet and the eggs benedict frittata really different. The bottomless mimosas were a bargain and the ambience was really quiet. In general we liked the value and the excellent cuisine.
Incredible experience. Food is out of this world.
My mistake. I bought into the reviews. Were they real, I wonder? Next time, I will just ask the locals.
Took a very long time to get service on a not busy evening. Steak was served with no steak knife. Good food though.
Just checked out Ariete for the first time and we were very pleased. The food and service was excellent. We had brunch outside in the patio during a nice Sunday and we all really enjoyed it. Highly recommend it!
Was nice, just thought the brunch menu was a little limited.
While we were seated right away and the food was delicious, I had to wait 2O min to get my drink order and later had to wait for coffee. The drink was taken off the bill.
Overall we enjoyed our brunch
Amazing dinner! The food was excellent and also had very attentive service. Highly recommend.
Food was great! Recommend this place...definitely will be back!!!
This was our 4th dinner at Arieta..the overall experience was very special!
The Chef/owner, mentored and trained by Norman Van Aken and Michael Schwartz graced our table where we had a chance to learn about him and extol upon our delightful meal
We ordered a dozen of the grilled oysters and lapped up the shells like you would do an oyster stew..grilled to perfection and the sauce was introduced to our freshly baked garlic roll. Dunk dunk...
We ordered the lamb ribs and the short rib pastrami.. wow and wow... which went beautifully with a 12 year old Rhone Lirac that I corkaged with. They do have a nice wine list if you don’t corkage (25$)
We shared the brussels and sweet potato sides
and saved room for 3 desserts... their donut, flan, and dolce de leche.. all fabulous.. the flan was made with mushrooms which blew us away.. a recipe the chef got from a San Francisco restaurant
Highly recommend Arieta..
Henry, our server, was beyond accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable and gracious. Food was all insane. Daiquiri was delish as well. Will be back and will rave to anyone we can.
Very crowded. Our wonderful wait person was unable o serve our cocktails for over 25 minutes. That’s all. Otherwise perfect.
The ambiance at Ariete was great! Not too packed and the food was phenomenal. I had the Frita Benedict’s which were out of this world and the guava and cheese pancakes that were even better. The texture of the pancakes were amazing! I can’t even explain it but trust me (a stranger on the internet). Overall the entire experience was phenomenal! Will definitely be back!
Very disappointed in the temperature of the food, the overall service was substandard.
Went for Thanksgiving and everything was cooked well. Service was on point and will return again.
