Excellent lunch meal, great food and service.
Miami’s best restaurant. Hands down.
I had a bad experience at Ariete. Service was bad. We asked three times the waiter to have salt and pepper. I asked for mayo but the waiter never brought it. Very bad organization and very bad service.
I will not come again to Ariete and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing drinks
Great spot for outdoor dining and sports a solid menu. They should add a few more wine selections at a lower price point.
Frita app was excellent and such a good deal for $5. My husband and I probably only needed to order 1 but then maybe we would have fought over it. The short rib was amazing - so soft, tender and delicious. Pork chop was great but short rib was the winner of the 2. Would love to go back and check out the rest of the menu.
Entirely awful experience... the waiter, Joshua, was much more interested in the bartender than in refilling our water glasses or warming up our coffee. He literally was nowhere to be seen beyond that. Seated outside at first, smoke from a table for six occupied by two youngish men with attitude forced us inside to an awful table near a mysterious glass door used incessantly by the staff who ignored us as well...
Ambiance sitting on the patio was romantic and stunning. The waitstaff was kind and courteous, but lacked communication throughout the night. It took a very long time until someone took our drink orders, and when we asked for round 2 to be brought with our entree, it didn't happen. The foie starter and brussel sprout side were both phenomenal, but the pork shoulder and ribs entrees were incredibly fatty and mediocre. for the price, it's unlikely that we'll be back for dinner. However, may go back to the bar area.
very very slow service at lunch...……..French fries were cold...…...
Everything about Ariete was fantastic! The service was excellent, the sticky buns were to die for, and the breakfast burrito was the best I've ever had. Everything was so fresh tasting!
Service was slow, food was cold. We got apps before the wine arrived.
The restaurant was okay at best. Seats were pushed in tight because it was raining outside and this made getting around difficult. Also, one of our guests was a vegetarian and the restaurant, believe it or not, had nothing for vegetarians on the menu. Several wanted decaffeinated coffee or herbal tea at the end of the meal -- the restaurant did not have either.
We have been regulars at Ariete since it opened. Last year the consistency of food and service seemed better than lately. Some disappointments have been that the normally excellent chicken has not been up to par, other dishes are soaked in sauces. The wine list has improved.
Nice outdoor atmosphere in the Grove coupled with a short but exciting menu. The food was delicious and the service staff well trained and relaxed. We’ll go again!
Great food!!! Very pleasant staff. We love this place.
Everything was outstanding, had the lamb ribs, venison tar tar and my wife had the snapper Milanese. The best food in Miami hand down.
One of my favorite restaurants, but ever since they changed owners the food is not so good. Bring back the old dishes that made you a staple among the locals. :(
This restaurant was a nightmare. It took hours to get food. The service staff was apologetic but they rarely checked in on us and when they did would just walk away mid-sentence like they forget they were in the middle of waiting on us. The biscuits were funky and dry. The chorizo on my Benedict was so poorly cooked I had to pull over at a gas station on the way home to use their bathroom. I was so sick I couldn’t eat for the next 12 hours.
Great dining experience. Very comfortable and casual ambience. Started with a terrific cocktail and delicious complementary Parkerhouse rolls. There were so many choices among the snacks and appetizers it was difficult to choose. Ended up deciding on the tuna conserva, which was delicious. All of my reading online suggested that the short rib was the dish to order. It wasn’t on the menu, but when I asked my server she said it was available upon request. Glad I asked. It was insanely good. The Flan was unique and lives up to its reputation as one of the best in Miami. Wines by the glass were excellent and service was superb. This was a great experience and I would most definitely come back. One of my best meals in Miami.
Can’t say enough about how lovely Ariete is. The ambiance is perfect... nice, but not pretentious. The service is impeccable. And the food is something special. I recently took a client of ours out and they raved about it. It was a treat for all of us and everyone promised to go back. I highly HIGHLY recommend it.
Great as always! A+ for our waiter! And the pasteleros A++++
The French Ruled - fois gras topped French Toast - sweet and savory 2.0. My taste buds thank you.
Overpriced, average service. Venison was cold. Sweet potato pasta not palatable. Ceviche uncomfortably spicy. Tamal was definitely not a tamal and 21% tip on party of 6 or more. Only salvageable plate was the snapper, not sure if worth the price. Not returning.
Truly amazing brunch, food was amazing and service was great. Ambiance is so relaxing too. Love it
Grilled oysters and venison tartare were great. Ceviche was awful the lamb ribs were undercooked and the agnolotti were too sweet undercooked and needed more of the uni butter
I was really looking forward to dining here because of the many great reviews. I have to say I was rather disappointed overall. The ambiance is quite nice. We were fortunate to be dining on beautiful cool night, so we sat outside. The trees, plants and lighting made for a nice ambiance. The music, not so much. There was a single speaker blaring that seem to trying to service the entire outdoor area. They certainly need to invest in a better audio system but that’s an aside. Our server was ok. Not great but got the job done. On to out food... to start we ordered oysters and a maduros and cheese appetizer (forgot the exact name). The oysters were tiny and nothing special. The maduros and cheese dish was certainly interesting and can recommend. They served warm bread which was yummy. Our entrees were snapper and a lamb rib dish. The lamb was quite good and easily a highlight of the meal. The meat fell of the bone and the sweet sauce added a nice touch. The snapper on the other hand was rather dry and poorly filet’d and full of fishbones. The seasoning was ok but the lack of any sauces made it pretty boring. We also had the tamal en cazuela side and it was interesting but not too special. We ordered a couple of drinks, the better one being a gin/cucumber drink. The flan desert was excellent. Overall, there was not a dish we had that we will crave enough to want to come back for. Especially considering we paid about $165 (b4 tip) for the 2 of us.
Awesome, creative food! Thought the lunch menu could have been a little longer, but the fritas and the tacos were delicious!
We ordered nearly the entire menu and everything was incredible. The service from josh was great and the entire experience was epic. Ariete is king!
Great atmosphere. Not too big, so there’s a coziness to it. Outdoor area looks nice, even though I dined indoors. Ordered the venison, which tasted great. Generous drinks menu, and service was attentive.
Loved it the first time we went...this last time, not so much....the music inside was so loud and energetic it felt like we were at gym.. we moved outside and the service was very poor... no menus, no waitress for the first 15 minutes, the bare minimum of service.... we would not go back even though the food is great..the poor service ruins the experience
Service was slow and disorganized. Vegetables in chicken dish were cold. Have been there several times and had a good meal.this time it did not deliver
The place was beautiful but unfortunately the service was not to die for and the food - well my wife got served and then I did 10 mins later therefore she waited and then her food was cold.
Very laid back attitude and not attentive to the customer details. I asked for salt and pepper 4 times before someone else getting it for me.
Wouldn’t go again.
Limited menu and their signature dish was "sold out". Not one specials dish and service that was beyond bad. 25 minutes to get a charcuterie board appetizer (hmmm there is nothing to actually COOK on a charcuterie board), 35 minutes between appetizer and main dishes except only 3 of the 4 dishes came out. The final dish came out when the rest of us were done eating. Waiter was missing in action throughout the meal (and the restaurant was NOT full). Finally, we order two desserts and they come out at two different times, got the second one when we were done eating the first. Bad, bad, bad
Excellent gourmet food and good wine selection. Together with the stylish interior and atmosphere, it makes it the best I’ve tried in the Grove.
Food was inedible. We ordered the grilled fish and it was overcooked. The mashed corn side dish was very bland and tasted like it had freezer burn. We didnt eat any of our food and asked the server to remove it from the check. She obliged but didnt ask us what was wrong, whether we wanted something else, etc.
service was extremely poor—had to ask 3 times for a glass of ice. The server didnt check on us once and our appetizers came out before our drinks.
Cant recommend this place when there are so many other amazing options on Miami.
The manager offered us a gift card to come back—we declined. Free food wouldnt bring us back to this restaurant.
We booked a table for a date. Service was good. The starter was ok, foie gras. The main dish was a snapper with so much salt in the sauce that I simply could not eat it. It has never happened to me before. The desert was a chocolate churros that wasn't any special. I was sorry because I had heard from friends that the restaurant is really good. Maybe I was just not lucky.
They have an Interesting menu and nice outdoor seating area. Staff was well informed and service very good.
consistently great food, service is always a bit lacking.
