Arielle's Country Inn Ratings and Reviews
Went there for our 50th wedding anniversary. Ordered steak that was supposed to be med-well. It was still bleeding and mooing and trying to get off my plate. Was supposed to have au gratin potatoes...was served some kind of cornmeal glob that was discusting. Very disappointed! Positive note....because if you look hard enough there is always something good in any situation.....carrots were good and decorations were nice....😬
We were celebrating our recent engagement and out for New Year’s Eve dinner. The New Year’s Eve gala menu options were great. The food selection was classic with a twist and everything we had was delicious. The ambiance was romantic and the Christmas decore was beautiful. The service was friendly and prompt. We had a wonderful experience overall and I’m looking forward to going back in the spring to experience the outside dining experience.
The prices were high. My wife had the lobster ravioli. Mystery lobster mash inside ravioli. She had the mushroom soup, no mushrooms. Paying for a salad ala carted is unbelievable. Did not come with meal. $8. I had the tilapia. It was excellent. Lobster bisque was ok. Expensive. Waitress was extremely helpful and nice. Owner was nice and stopped by several times. Neat old place.
Our forth visit and first for our friends. Our dinner was early, (6PM) on this day before New Year's Eve. The restaurant was therefore not very crowded. This quaint gem was tastefully decorated for Christmas and a dusting of snow added to the magical ambiance for this off the beaten path country inn. From the Mushroom Bisque soup of the day, the always unique and awesome French Onion soup all the way to thee signature Poached Pear desert the meal was perfect. Our friends raved about their experience and thanked us for letting them in on our "secret".
Everything was very nice from greetings at the door to the app and then the main course. No room for dessert but I'm sure it would have been amazing ! Cold by Windows but that is expected for an old establishment. Very enjoyable evening and we are food snobs 😀
Went for a christmas get together with 2 other couples and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. It was quaint, just like an old inn should be, cozy and warm. We loved the ambience. The menu was extensive and there were a few interesting and different items. everyone was pleased with their meals. The staff was lovely. We will return!
What a wonderful place. We picked the location because it was mid way between our homes. We frequently meet at the Washington House which has always been nice, especially in the summer when you can eat iutside. Arielle's was so cute and decorated for Christmas. We had no idea what it was going to be like. Everyone's dinner was five stars. We said, who knew we would have fabulous dining at such an out of the way location. We're going back soon!
I had asked to be seated in the intimate room by the fireplace. My request was fulfilled. The ambiance was incredible. The waitress was very helpful and professional during our entire meal.
This is the third or fourth time that I have eaten at Arielle's and every time has been better than before.
We have always enjoyed the Arielle Inn however this time it was good but not quite what we have come to expect. The noice level was high for some reason. The food was very good but not outstanding as we have experienced in the past. Our guests were fine with the overall experience. Two of our party wanted one of the specials and the restaurant was out of this selection. Quite disappointing since it seems still early in the evening. Two items that we asked for from the bar they did not have.
We have had too many great experiences so we will not stop coming. Maybe an off night but still acceptable.
This is an amazing place. Everything about it is top notch. The food is consistently wonderful. The ambiance is beautiful but still cozy. And the service is superb. We were there on a very busy Friday night yet we were treated as if we were the only ones there. We love Arielle’s!
Enjoyed a great evening with our best friends. The food was well-prepared, nicely presented as well as tasty. The service was both professional and friendly. Since one of our party had significant dietary restrictions our server checked all selections with the chef and the individual was able to enjoy the meal without second guessing ingredients. Overall, once again, an excellent dining experience.
Warm and inviting owner and a delightful experience. Calamari appetizer was particularly good and the lobster bisque had just the right balance. The lobster ravioli entree is is stuffed with lobster---a pleasant and welcome surprise. Clams were cooked just right. Meal pacing was a bit slow but did not detract from a wonderful dinner. Rather, it seemed this restaurant wants its patrons to relax and enjoy instead of turning tables. What a refreshing way to treat customers. Prices are relatively inexpensive considering the meal quality and presentation. We'll be back.
It was a very special occasion our 32 wedding anniversary. Seafood was under cooked also the filet was undercooked and the bacon wrapped was barely cooked asked for medium and got med rare .You also need to put some veggies on the platter one small piece of broccoli and a few slices of potato and 2 quarter sized peppers didn’t cut it. I don’t usually complain but we spent $100.00 and left hungry...
We love everything about this restaurant. The main attraction is the overall
menu however I just love the escargot. Not many restaurants that serve this on
a regular basis. The owner is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful
of you are to share with those you care for.
We went on Saturday 14th October to celebrate our anniversary. The food was EXCELLENT. The crabcakes, bratwurst and filet mignon are out of this world. Good selection of desserts. We had creme brulee and pecan pie. Both very good. Attentive staff and a lovely, quaint environment. Would definitely eat here again!
It was a nice, relaxed meal; about 90 minutes without desert. I was surprised at the long list of daily specials. The food was hot and delicious. I had the bratwurst appetizer and the rainbow trout entree. The service was great and the portions were generous. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Disappointed. Did not feel the experience was worth the price. Small, rustic restaurant in the countryside. Nothing particularly special on the menu. Menu seems outdated. Very nice selection of deserts. Is not handicapped accessible.
