This is my go to place to take interview candidates. Only once in multiple visits have I had something to eat that I thought was just ok. I like the layout of the restaurant. The tables are not crowded together but there is room in between. My favorite items are the chicken parm, chicken cacciatore, petit filet salad or the salmon burger.
Valentine’s Day dinner was great. We enjoyed our waitress and the live performance was a solid touch.
Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were not seated until after 8.
I absolutely loved Aria. The ambiance, the music, the food...everything was great. Perfect spot for dinner before a show.
The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was energetic, and the service was excellent!
Amazing food as always and great experience! Great for a special night out.
We go to Charlotte once a year and regularly go to Aria for dinner with our group. We are never disappointed!
The food and the service was wonderful!
We went to Aria for a pre-theater dinner. The food, service, everything was awesome. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I can’t believe a restaurant of this caliber would serve wine (from an extensive high end list) in a TUMBLER! After commenting on this the waiter did offer to switch to wine glasses - but why on earth have the tumblers as their first choice???
Very romantic ambience, loved it !
This was my fourth visit to Aria and I have been pleased every time. This time was on Valentine's Day so it was understandably busy, but we were seated quickly and our server was very attentive and friendly. I've had excellent service there each time so far. And everything we ate was very good!
Server was very nice and competent. Food was delivered lukewarm (mussels, gnocchi, salmon, and poultry). Presentation was 50/50. Probably won’t return given other options in the area.
I had a wonderful time here. Other than it being very loud I had a great experience. The food was fantastic and I will definitely come again.
The food were bland, we have to sprinkle a lot of salt and pepper. It was funny cause or salt shaker was empty, have to ask the waiter for another one. I guess salt has been used a lot.
The atmosphere it inviting and modern. Our server was top-notch, very accommodating and pleasant! Wonderful food, as always. Great wine selection as well.
Absolutely perfect! I had to call and add 1 to my reservation basically on Valentines Day weekend and Dennis went above and beyond to make it work out for us!! We had the perfect table! Our food was also delightful. It tasted as good as it looked!
Having had a wonderful experience in November for my youngest daughter's birthday (two moms and five well-behaved kids total), her best friend wanted to do the same. I made a reservation and noted that there were two young best friends, an older sister, and two different moms and noted that they'd placed us at the "chef's table" before which fascinated the children and kept us out of the way in case they'd like to do it again.
Some glitch in the reservation process only noted four people. The young woman at the hostess stand was greatly irritated by our party of five and brusquely stated we would have to make do at the same table they'd reserved. I pleasantly said that would be no problem, yet she made no effort to help us situate at the table. I wound up getting an extra chair myself. My oldest daughter was so unsettled by the way we were received that she told me quietly and tearfully that she felt superfluous and unwanted.
I should note: we were at the very opening of the dinner service, to where the wait staff was still in their pre-dinner staff meeting. The restaurant was completely empty, and even when we left, there were numerous open tables including the ones on either side of us. We certainly didn't inconvenience the seating plan.
Our server was pleasant and helpful, but simple ways to go beyond to make the evening special were missed. I'd noted that the children LOVED the bean salad served with the bread, but even specifically asking for extra to be brought, we were given two scantily filled tiny dishes that were gone within seconds. A separate 'side dish' of risotto was suggested to take home, but when it was brought out, it was more of a garnish, just as the original serving had been. I'm a little stunned by the scanty servings of foods such as this and a little shocked at being charged their menu prices for it.
Overall, for a $200 dinner experience, we were very much left wanting. It was nowhere near the special evening it had been before.
Everything was wonderful, the food was delicious, ambiance very warm and cozy, can’t wait to go back!
