As always it was an excellent dinner. Service was outstanding and the meal with a changed menu as good as always. Will be back!
Caramelized gnocchi. It will change your life. We sat at the bar and had a bottle of wine and some bar bite and charcuterie. Great food and service. We will be back!
So many interesting pastas and I’m not usually a pasta fan. Orchiette was amazing. Olde ate in upstairs area which is quieter and easier access to Opera.
I went to Aria for a pre-prom dinner. It was very crowded (lots of other prom groups and couples :-) ), but since I made a reservation my boyfriend and I were seated right away. It took a little while for us to be greeted, but our waiter was very friendly. He served us fairly efficiently, but was slightly slower towards the end (it took a long time for us to receive our check). The food was absolutely delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate. I would recommend Aria for special occasions because it is fairly expensive, but the food is definitely worth the little extra money you have to pay for the upscale dining experience.
Wow! Every bite was great. We split softshell crab and mussels with the group, along with bruchetta, all excellent. The Papardella was superb, as well as the eggplant. Everybody in our group raved about their entrees-halibut, scallops, crab.
I called in after making my reservation to add to our group count. The hostess movrd us to the chefs table, so we watched the food prep all evening; very entertaining.
Busy hotspot. Good food - Excellent, fast, attentive service (from Lucky). Good location - parking nearby, easy walk to Belk, Spectrum.
Food and service wonderful as always. Hostess could improve.
Great dining experience. In town for a concert. Stayed at the Aloft. Aria Tuscan was within walking distance to the hotel and the venue for the concert. Great ambiance, great food, great service. All in all a 10.
Food was good. Service was average other than the tall man with an accent. He was extremely personable. Wine came in a regular glass and not a wine glass.
Always a great experience. Freshly prepared and well seasoned. Friendly staff.
We so enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. i would like to suggest more specific help with parking since BOA is across the street but is not validated free, the parking has to be BOA corporate. i would love to suggest some gluten free options. We were not told of any and it was difficult to find those options. We will be back. We really enjoyed the evening. Great wine selection. Our server was fun and very organized. Thank you all.
I chose Aria's for an early dinner with my granddaughter before the Ballet and Symphony at the nearby Belk Theatre. We began with a glass of wine for me from Aria's huge wine cellar and a "Cherry Soda" alcohol-free cocktail for the young lady. My "date" for the evening must avoid gluten and limit dairy products. That narrowed our choices a bit, but the pork shank cooked 24 hours in tomatoes with giant white beans proved a wonderful choice. The dish is advertised as "prepared for two" and could easily have fed a family of four if served with salads or antipasto. The waiter offered me cheese on the side. The bread was warm, fresh, and wonderful. For desert, we threw caution to the wind and selected the marvelous gelato. I highly recommend the butterscotch, but McKenzie broke into broad smiles when the mint chocolate-chip was served. The service was quick and friendly. My only real suggestion for improvement would be some indication on the menu of dishes that could be prepared gluten-free and dairy free.
Aria's does offer a children's menu, but this was a special evening for a grandfather to treat his granddaughter to a proper evening out. I appreciate wait staff that treat young people as patrons. The Aria's staff was attentive and helpful. It made for an evening of warm memories.
One of my our favorite place to dine!!! We love the express lunch as well!!!
Aria has gone downhill quickly. Chef left, new general manager and ruined environment. Manager is clueless and dressed like a stripper. Wish it was not so.
Had a business lunch here and the food was excellent and the service good but unobtrusive.
Very good variety of beer and an extensive wine list. Service was very good as server came over many times and didn’t have to wait long for each course to come to table. Quality of food was good as was selection.
This is a excellent restaurant! The atmosphere is great, good service and the food is outstanding!
A wonderful meal! The entrees were outstanding (scallops and pork shank)..the gnocchi appetizer was the best we have ever had! We'll be back!
We came for a birthday dinner for my husband and his Bestfriend’s girlfriend! Once we got there they had a special table for us in a room in the kitchen. It was nice and the service was great. The cooks were nice too! The food doesn’t seem like a lot when you look at it but it’s portioned perfectly.
Waitress was awesome! Food was better than average. Wine was good too.
Wonderful food and service. Especially wonderful parking once, enjoying an excellent meal and being in the same building as the theater!
Always an excellent experience at Aria and last was no exception. Service was attentive put not intrusive. Walnut salad was fresh and dressed well. Chicken Cacciatore was the best I ever had in New York or Italy. Coffee and Almond gelatos were delicious.
We didn't love being seated in the small upstairs area, but the food was good and our server was pleasant.
Great everything! Can’t wait to go back again.
First visit and an excellent find! Creative interpretations of Italian cuisine and a strong by-the-glass wine list make this a great choice for a business dinner.
The service and the food was equal to the great recommendation that we had been given. The live music was excellent.
It was a nice dinner. We were seated immediately.
The food was great and the service was excellent.
This is one our go to spots for dinner before a broadway lights show and it is always great
Great live music! Good food!
As always, ARIA provides the rare winning combination of good food at a good price, stellar service and subtle yet energetic ambiance.
We typically love Aria, this night, drinks took forever to arrive. In past trips, I have found your old fashioned to be excellent, some of the best I town, this night they were watered down with soda and lacked butters. Very disappointed
We had a very nice dinner before the show. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the butternut squash ravioli and they were both awesome. Thank you
We ate dinner here before attending an event at Ovens. Service and dinner was delicious. I especially liked the Ahi Tuna appetizer! I tried the handmade pasta w/black eyed peas and was not disappointed.I usually order the Orecchiette w/sausage. My guest had Caesar salad-good but large. She had chicken cacciatore-very good.
Consistently high-quality all across the board. We love this place so much we use any occcasion to go. Birthdays, broadway shows, any day that ends in -y. And pricing is very friendly so we do go very often.
We entered the restaurant through the atrium and had to walk downstairs to check in and then got seated upstairs in the bar area. That seems inefficient and not customer friendly. Service was slow. We didn’t receive our bread until after we received our meal. The scallops were not fresh and tasted fishy. However, the butternut squash was really good. Overall, too pricy for the experience.
Eat here often when attending events at Blumenthal. Always, excellent.
I've been to Aria Tuscan Grill before and it was great. This time the food was very good and the server was very nice, however it took 55 minutes to be served our main course. We DID make it to the theater on time but we did have to eat relatively quickly. So that was the only thing on the down side...it took an extremely long time to get our main course.
Food was fabulous service excellent even though we were a few min late for our reservation they were friendly and accommodating
Great homemade pastas! Great wine list! A little loud as far as holding a conversation with those at your table.
Dined in the upper level. Issues getting food and service to the upper level. Not quaint or cozy. Ambiance was too antiseptic and modern. Not your classic "Tuscan" kitchen. Food and service were good - but not great. All else was average. One of the on-site managers less than truthful with me about an after dinner drink. Not sure I would return. Too many better dining options.
