    Outstanding! Enzo was fabulous! We all enjoyed our meals, the lasagna was delish along w the other pasta dishes our table ordered. A definite must go!!!

    Been hear before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere - decided to go back - Had the venison (very good) but not a super large portion so helped the Mrs finish offer the Osso Buco she ordered which was also very good. The PEI mussle app was good too (the red gravy it was in was thick and rich - i'm used to lighter brothy sauces with my mussels but still enjoyed it. I would go back but not my favorite restaurant in Charlotte.

    We have eaten here several times, and have always enjoyed it, this time was no exception. Our server Aaron was very knowledgeable about the menu, and provided some good guidance for both food and wine. All the food was excellent, caramelized gnocchi, beef tartare, pork Osso.bucco. Will certainly be back.

    Aria is truly one of my favorite restaurants. I made reservations far enough in advance to treat my mother to a nice birthday dinner prior to our 8 pm show at The Blumenthal. We were seated upstairs by the bar because the restaurant was “over sold”. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have minded. However, there were three ladies seated at the bar who were rather inebriated. They were loud, obnoxious and used quite a bit of profanity. Even though our service and food were equally wonderful, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the location of our table and the behavior of the bar patrons.

    Lovely restaurant with a great menu. The Caramelized Gnocchi appetizer was delicious. Loved the texture and flavor! Main Course was the Rigatoni Amatriciana. I highly recommend. Service was perfect.

    We enjoyed our night out at Aria. The service was excellent. Our server, Mo was very professional, friendly & knowledgeable. Our meals were great. The special was Ted Snapper which Mo highly recommended & it didn’t disappoint. Truly amazing & delicious. The pork Ossa Buco was also recommended & that too was delicious. Great experience & a wonderful night out. Thank you!

    The restaurant was beautiful inside. They have an outstanding wine selection and the staff and service was exceptional. 3 out of our 4 food selections were a disappointment. One was overcooked and the other two lacked in flavor. The ravioli was very good!

    Our waitress was wonderful and made sure we had what we needed/wanted. Our food was delicious and the ambiance excellent. It’s a great and convenient place to have dinner or cocktails before a play at the Blumenthal.

    We had a performance to go to...the server and the kitchen made it easy to be there on time. Our server, Taylor, was excellent; although it was a busy night, he made us feel that we were his most important customer! The cocktails, food, and wine (good selection by the glass) were also excellent.

    In Aria, they don't try to pack your belly til you can't breathe - there're outfits a few class orders below for that. But if you are like us - i.e. out for a modest amount of skillfully crafted delectable preparations paired with a glass of authentic Italian vino, this is the right place for you. Every bit of food on the plates of the starters and entrees we were presented with was a little gem in its own right.

    Two adults, two 12 year old boys after an MLS soccer game watching Messi play. Aria is cool, stylish, classy. We had the Prosciutto and pickled squash starter, great. The boys then had Margherita pizza, gone quickly. I had the beautifully medium rare venison loin with a relish/caponata of pine nuts and sweet veggies. Tasty, perfect texture, and the sweetness of the caponata was great balance to the richness of the venison. My adult son, father of one of the boys, had the Rigatoni. He really enjoyed it. We shared a bottle of Barberra and at $40 it was a high value complement to the meal. Service was very good, friendly and helpful, and items delivered fresh and hot when appropriate. First visit, we are from Charleston and were spending the night across the street at a hotel so we did not have to drive home until the morning. What a great experience and birthday gift from my son and grandson.

    Terrible experience. Knew it wasn’t best in charlotte but thought it would be okay and close to belk for play. Awful experience. Manager made it even worse. Will never return. Hard to explain but it’s a take it or leave it restaurant. Could care less what you want or your requests. Given it’s the fastest growing city in the country it’s def behind.

    This is one of my favorite Charlotte restaurants but last night was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered a daily special and what was delivered was not what was described. A duroc bone in pork chop, cooked medium, with root vegetable purée and red wine demi glacé was what I ordered but I received an overcooked pork chop with root vegetables pieces swimming in a red wine sauce. The pork was so tough I could barely cut it with a steak knife. It was under seasoned and bland and an altogether unappealing plate. I couldn’t even finish it. The kale Caesar salad was delicious as was the bourbon Negroni cocktail. The Apple crostata for dessert was meh…apples a bit undercooked… This a popular spot for pre and post theatre dining. The restaurant was very busy….I suppose too busy for the kitchen to perform well….
