Excellent food, cozy atmosphere. We showed up a little early and seated us right away. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was a table for 8 next to us that was quite loud, but that wasn’t the fault of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and would go again!
Fantastic food and amazing service. Can’t wait to come back
Delmonico Steak was slightly over charred.
Mushroom ravioli could have had better presentation- still very delicious
So glad we f
Food was AMAZING!! The service was AWESOME!! I would highly recommend!!!!
Aria was fantastic! Great food, Great atmosphere! Massimo, the owner, was an outstanding host. We did the chef's choice approach and loved every bite. Aria is my new favorite restaurant in the North End!!!
Great service and great food!
Another great visit. They even honored a special request to make something off menu for our 12 year old. Pictures of all of the athletes and celebs with owner Massimo are cool.
Excellent service on a very busy Saturday night. Halibut special was delicious and generously portioned. One person in our party was disappointed with his seafood fra diavlo saying sauce was much too thick and not authentic. Nice Italian wine selection. Tables close together. Noisy but then again it was a Saturday night. Would try again mid week.
Great meal as always.
Well, where do I start..in town for a concert from Cape Cod. Looked up reviews and based on that, picked this restaurant . Food is great . Service was odd. First, my friend asked for coffee. Coffee machine broken . Bad start since she does not drink. We were told by our “ tall, young slightly bearded waiter “ ( no names used) that there was coffee down and that’s where we could go. Know where you could have gone, downstairs to get her coffee.. really. So dinner was fine after that rough start. So the check comes..no dessert offer. He said” no dessert for you, you have Mike’s pastry in that box”... Again really! And it was not like anyone was waiting for our table on a Monday. Well I go back? No, there are too many Italian restaurants that would appreciate our presence. And yes, we did go down stairs for our coffee!
Aria has become our "go - to" restaurant whenever we get to Boston. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and professional and the food is outstanding. We have worked our way through many items on the menu and have never been disappointed! Cannot recommend Aria enough!
Special birthday dinner , it was great !!! We opted to have the chefs choice for our meal. It did not disappoint , amazing variety of seafood, pasta and meat. We also appreciated the valet parking !
Aria Trattoria was recommended by friends. We totally enjoyed our evening. We started with meatballs and salami platter - so good!! The bread was awesome! My husband had a pasta dish that was so outstanding - I had the mushroom stuffed chicken (parts of my chicken were not fully cooked). The service was wonderful - they were always there and moved our meal through quickly. We will go back again - and recommend to others.
Incredibly noisy. The manager needs to tell customers that are shouting at the top of their lungs to respect other people. I won't go back even though the food was decent and not expensive.
So glad we finally got to eat at Aria! With so many restaurants in the North End, it’s hard to get to all of them. But, I have to say that this is some of the best Italian we have had in the North End, hands down. Having been to Italy 3 times in the past 5 years, I guess I can consider myself a good judge of this cuisine. That, and my Italian heritage;) The owner welcomed us to his “home” and was very accommodating. The service was excellent and attentive. It was loud, but I think that’s part of the charm. We will return!
The Chef’s choice dinner was fabulous!
We have made Aria Trattoria our family Easter Sunday tradition and it never disappoints. The service is attentive, professional, and very personal (even funny at times). The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of authentic Italian and American cuisine. The portions are huge. We look forward to it every year.
Amazing service, amazing food and delicious wine. 10/10 would recommend.
Food was excellent. They were kind enough to accommodate us earlier than our reservation time. Staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The pasta was especially fresh and the seafood was delicious. We received complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal... which made us feel like special guests.
Service is second to none. Food is superb.
My GF and I visiting Boston for 1st time and saw Aria Trattoria at top of a list of best North End restaraunts. On the whole, disappointed. On the positive side the Caesar salad and calamari appetizer were fantastic. But our entrees of lobster/pasta and scallops w zucchini were very underwhelming, tasted like the seafood was frozen. (By contrast, we got a lobster role next day at Faneuel Market and thought, Ahh, this is how lobster is supposed to taste). Worst, was the place was so noisy - on a Thursday evening - we could hardly hear each other, was a relief to get out of there
Amazing per usual. The staff treats you like family.
Guil was awesome!! Excellent service!
Food was great. Owner was very welcoming.
Fantastic meal and service
Food was just not good and not cheap
A night out with my wife, and we've been haphazardly working our way among restaurants in the North End of Boston. This one is a real find: delicious food, exceptional wine, attentive and professional service. (For us 60-somethings this means NOT being greeted with "I'm Todd....How are we tonight? What are we having to drink? ... etc.) Servings are substantial--not immense, but a solid plateful. Our table by the window gave a fine view of the busy-ness of Hanover St. In all, authentic, attentive, delicious.
Wanted this to be great but it was super loud - tables are way to close together - I had to send my very uncreative special entree back - they did take it off the bill. Overall not the experience the website would lead you to believe. It was crowed though, so the place has got something-
It was a pleasant meal! Service was great and we got a table next to the windows, setting was cozy but we felt well cared for! Will definitely recommend this place!
great cozy and lovely place. Service terrific (small things matter - we ordered one salad and they split it in the kitchen for us) - and the food was really excellent. It is upstairs, and quiet, and looks out over Hanover Street, so very charming.
Aria is truly one of the best restaurants in the North End. The service is great and food outstanding. The all inclusive menu is the best deal going.
Still after 5 years, my favorite place in Boston! You can’t beat the service and the comfortable family feel. The food is out of this world and the scenery with the hustle and bustle of North End is the best.
Delicious food in a very pretty setting, above the fray of the North End.
By far the best Italian Restaurant in Boston. The food is spectacular, service is awesome and reasonably priced. It is also a fun, friendly atmosphere.
This restaurant is second to none, the owner Mossimo (sp?) took amazing care of us and we left our meals up to him to choose. Two of the best meals of my life have been here. Highly highly recommend!
Amazing as always
Another great meal at Aria. Wish I lived closer so I could be a regular. Excellent attention to gluten free and homemade GF pasta.
One of my favorite restaurants. We went on a Sunday evening so it was a bit quieter than a Friday or Saturday but it was amazing as usual. It has a cozy atmosphere which is quite enjoyable. On this visit (have been here many times before), I had an amazing seafood special which consisted of swordfish, scallops, shrimp and lobster. It was served over a medley of roasted vegetables and everything was amazing. Service was excellent as well. As usual, I enjoyed a delicious espresso martini for dessert :) I really enjoy dining at Aria and would definitely recommend.
From the time we walked in the door up to the quaint bar upstairs we were greeted with nothing but smiles, Gill the bartender was friendly and great to talk to. Mossimo greeted us at the door and couldn't do enough to accommodate our wishes for a perfect window seat. Our waiter Diego could not have been more helpfu,l polite, explaining our dishes we were to order. Aria will be the first restaurant we revisit when we're back here in Boston.
