Dinner at Argyle Steakhouse presents the finest cuts of Black Angus, California Natural and American Wagyu beef with warm, distinctive service. The adjoining lounge and library add to the experience with indoor or al fresco seating, perfect for enjoying casual fare and cocktails at sunset. Our server Scott was amazing and super helpful. Our food was delicious and we were there to celebrate my fiancé 's birthday. It was definitely worth it! Will be back soon enough!

They did a good job. My server was funny and made my wife happy and explained everything to us. The manager also checked on us and brought us the appetizers. 5 starts all around.

If you are talking up the Impossible Veggie Burger as a reason for eating here, call ahead to see if they have the patty in stock. Otherwise you will end up with an impossibly ordinary substitute and find yourself apologizing for the rest of the meal.

Otherwise a nice place, but the burger was a real disappointment.

The steaks were perfection. We had a bone in ribeye aged to perfection and a waygu flat iron steak. They were both medium rare and very good. Great meat and cooked just as we ordered. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
The ambiance was a bit dated and really needs to be modernized. We would LOVE this place and come here much more often if/when they have a make over. In the meantime, we will be back again.

The only issue we have is the exorbitant prices Argyle charges for wines that are rated below 90 points...ridiculous

It was ok. We would have preferred linen. The service was good. Our steaks were well prepared, but potato tots and 1/2” cubes of squash were poor accompaniments. There was nothing attractive in the lobby or room.

Once again we enjoy an outstanding meal at Argyle. We were seated immediately at a nice table and served water immediately. The waiter took our drink orders and our martinis were delivered ice cold and delicious. It was Restaurant Week so the three of us all opted to partake in that event. Two of us had a most delicious wedge salad with blue cheese that was so incredible. The other had a wonderful spinach salad but it was quite tiny. Two of us enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium rare filet and the third had the hanger steak that was also very flavorful. The sides are always delicious. The desserts were both fabulous. The smores was fantastic and the berry tart was also quite nice. We ordered a bottle of Frank Family Zinfandel that was quite nice as well. We always love to eat here and it never disappoints.

Always such a lovely evening. Friendly and attentive wait staff, delicious food, great atmosphere, wine list is excellent, martinis perfect, close to home. There's a great dessert for the "birthday person" that the whole table can share.
