I am truly at a loss for words to describe how amazing this restaurant is and was tonight. The room is warm and cozy and feels very European and upscale. The staff works together in harmony like a well oiled machine. The food was exquisite, big on flavor and prepared with impeccable flair. Our server was attentive, personable and endearing. This was truly an extraordinary experience. There is a reason that Arethusa has the ratings it does.

Food was amazing! We drove an hour because we heard great things about this place and it was totally worth the drive. Food was incredible and the ambiance was also really nice. Service was great as well! Would go back again for sure.

An incredible restaurant in the Litchfield Hills! Wonderful ambiance and exceptional personal dining service. All of that notwithstanding, the menu selections and the quality of the unique and creative cuisine is what truly distinguishes Arethusa al Tavolo. Chef Dan Magill and his staff are expert at producing unusual combinations of ingredients that produce unforgettable tastes and flavors the likes of which you’ve never experienced before! And save room for dessert and you’ll leave with a dining experience you’ll remember for a long time.

Wow, I think this was one of the two best meals that my wife and I have ever eaten, the other being at a Michelin 3 star restaurant in France 25 years ago. The imaginative, fresh and delicious appetizer and entrees showed that the kitchen really cares, and has the skill to pull off a variety of wonderful plates. Worth every penny. I'd drive an hour to dine here anytime!

To no fault of their own, the seating is adjusted due to Covid and the area was near the "unopened" bar but was still being used to make drinks. At least it was a quaint spot. Everything else perfecto. My absolute favorite restaurant - their food is the best.

I work for a wine and cheese shop in New England that carries some of the Arethusa Farm’s products and wanted to visit the farm and restaurant. My boyfriend and I planned to just have drinks and an appetizer or two but once we sat down we dove into a full meal and boy, am I glad we did! Everything was extremely fresh and absolutely delicious. We had the pork belly dumplings, oysters, duck and Mediterranean Sea Bass. The one thing that made the experience even better was the top notch service. From the host who called to confirm the reservation to the servers and even the food runner, everyone gave us 5 star service and for that alone I look forward to going back!

World class dining in a small town (Bantam) in Litchfield County....

Perfect restaurant any time. But as our first COVID indoor experience we were delighted with the safety measures taken and enjoyed everything about the meal.

Arethusa al Tavolo is absolutely the best dining experience in Litchfield County. We have been fans for several years now, and the restaurant's food, service and ambiance never disappoints. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Very well thought out food. The salmon dish was amazing with every flavor profile represented. The beef dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The curry cake was nicely balanced and anything topped with their ice cream or butter is instantly elevated.

Finally got a table - everything was exceptional and well executed.
