   Service was not very friendly or attentive although the manager was nice. Pizza was fine enough. Not the best I’ve had, but better than average.

   Our large party had a fantastic meal at Area Four. Great service, and everyone enjoyed garlic knots, salads, pizza. The clam pizza was a big hit. Highly recommend!

   The food was outstanding as usual, and the service was amazing, especially since our cast of characters changed over the course of the evening (one nephew was joined by another nephew, the first nephew left after awhile and was replaced, later, by our son) and we stayed for a very long time. Our server was attentive, cheerful, and flexible. We had a great night.

    Great venue for groups though the outside tables are small, which can make eating difficult. Food is good though basic.

    The food was very good but it took a while. Two of the meals were served while the third person had no food for an extra 10 minutes, making it really awkward sitting there waiting to eat for the first two people. The service was also mediocre and it was like we had three different servers, but none of them really seemed to pay attention to us really. It felt like they don’t have assigned tables and everyone takes care of all tables but the result is that no one is really focused on any one table and it makes the service confusing and inconsistent.

    Our sever forgot about us maybe 5 times and we had to ask the host for the check 3 times before we got it (since the server disappeared).

    Pre-Covid A4 was a favorite. Fun vibe, great service and fantastic food. Food is still good but server was totally indifferent. Didn’t check in; didn’t come by to see if we wanted another round. Dropped the check without a word. Etc.

    Food was super delicious - garlic knots and the three dips were fantastic, and the pizza was stellar (as usual). However, the service was poor. I love area four and don’t know if we came at an off time or what. We didn’t get appetizer plates until well after our food was out. After we got the plates we had to wait more for cutlery. We asked for a dessert menu multiple times and never got it, even though our server kept coming back to tables around us. We had to ask multiple people for a check. Overall it was a weird experience with the service, and I would’ve really liked to order a cookie skillet, if only I had gotten the dessert menu. But the food was tasty!

    Loved the shaved brussel sprout and kale salad; they will do half and half pies so if you have a party that wants to try different pies but doesn't want to order too much this is a bonus! Good quality experience all around. Very friendly staff.

    Excellent pizza, solid drink options, quick service. Glad we made the reservation ahead of time since it was pretty busy, but able to walk right to our table. Will definitely come back!

    Went here for a birthday celebration and it was great! We reserved a table for 8 and the table was already ready when we arrived (15 mins early). The waitress was very attentive and the brunch menu was really good. Would definitely come here again.

    Area 4 is a great place no matter what the occasion. This was a work meal where people really enjoyed the high quality, but not extensive draft beer selection (they also have a great can and bottled beer selection). Food is always great, wood fired pizzas, interesting special pizzas, salads are always good. Nice and warm place with the fires going.

    I gave them a review over two years ago and it was not favorable. However after last meal, I have only prise for the restaurant. Great service. Well organized. Greated by management as you come through the door. Staff works as a team to get the food out. The food was great. Garlic knots are to die for. Pizza was rich with flavor. Love the sauce and cheese. We will go back. You should too.

    We had a wonderful brunch - great food - the pizza cannot be beat. Our waitress was attentive and made great suggestions. The beer choices were a crowd pleaser! We will be back again.

    I never get tired of Area 4 because they have quality pizza, salad and beer. I love the ever changing selection of New England Style IPAs (as well as other beers). Such a great find that they have a high quality selection of beer (but not tons of selection). Always good, warm and fun environment.

    We just had pizza this time. The one we wanted wasn’t on the menu but we were able to customize it. Service was good and well timed. We come here for coffee- one of the best in greater Boston, but I would recommend it to pizza lovers too - fresh and ...just rightly made! PS. Try their coffee and...English muffins - now, those are outstanding!
