The French toast and chicken sausage were phenomenal!
Delicious seafood, attentive and courteous service crew, and spectacular view
Wine was from 2017 and was a little acidic the appetizer and service was good but the food was really disappointing, I ate the fruit di mare that was really bad with just Ragú sauce and shrimp and that’s it my wife order the risoto that wasn’t that good. To make the story short
The views and service were amazing. However they changed their menu because of COVID and now have a lot less appetizers, the Korean tacos were extremely salty, the whole Branzino had no flavor and the Wagyu sirloin that's supposed to be soft wasn't. I left very disappointed at the quality of the food.
I had an amazing experience on this place
Nice view tho
Area 31 my first experience for my Queen’s birthday was amazing outstanding services and also if you mention is a birthday they also give you a surprise can’t tell you till you get there will be back soon
Everything was delicious especially when a beautiful view of the city
Beautiful location and very lovely staff. Was a shame that the outdoor area was closed but when we asked to go out to take photos, the staff were very helpful to allowed us to get the pictures we had hoped for (even offering to be our photographer). Would definitely come back again. Thank you for making our date night so smooth xx
Everything was awesome! Food was incredible and the atmosphere was well worth it. Would come back again!
Amazing experience. Extremely happy with the service and the food. The view it’s a total plus
Cannot beat the view!!
Amazing overall experience and great atmosphere
The food was very overpriced. Both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast- the lobster and crab Benedict looked like tuna sandwich mix on an English muffin. 7 dollars for orange juice, don’t even want to know what the fresh squeezed would cost. Dinner - the wagyu beef was worse than the carbonara pasta we got, definitely wasn’t anything you can’t get at the store and do yourself. Broccoli Side was 12 dollars, because no substitutions. I get no substitutions but at least make the steak taste good if I can’t sub my side… rooftop location was nice but that’s definitely what you pay for. Service was minimal and average at best. Nice hotel and place for a one time thing I guess… but certainly won’t be going back on my own dime. Disappointed to say the least.
Everything was amazing from appetizers to entree & drinks. Everyone was so nice & accommodating. Absolutely will be coming back next time I’m in Miami!
Muy sabrosa la comida, muy elaborada, el salmón y el pescado frito que ordenó mi esposo.
VERY Over price, all aspects of the restaurant is over rating
I’d definitely come back again!
I really enjoyed the restaurant. The view and the service was great. The food was okay. I really enjoyed the setting and I would recommend for the setting more so than the food.
Great fruit plate! Great service!
Overall a good experience with great views. Prices were high to pay for that view. Drink service was extremely slow. Whole snapper was for two and delicious. Waiter was very friendly and took pictures of all his guests.
Server barely checked on us and the food was really dry and cold I had the spaghetti carbonara with jumbo shrimp
Alejandro kept rushing us to order because he wanted to seat more people and turnover tables faster so it ruined the entire experience for my first time at Area 31.
They did nothing about our special occasion
Great experience. Bartender Melissa is a rock star!
We were staying at the Hyatt across the street and Open Table did not show available for Capital Grill. We decided to give this restaurant a try. I’m writing this review more than a month since the experience as it’s been on my mind.
To be fair it was a rainy night and the apparent prime seating is on the terrace. Ambiance inside was less than appealing. Hostess attempted to seat us side by side with another small table and we requested a different open table where we were seated. Waiter arrived with a flourish asked if we would like a bottles of water and without inquiring brought still water, my lack. We ordered a bottle of Pellegrino as well. My wife ordered a salad for her Entree and I ordered a goat cheese Salad which appeared at the table but not my wife’s. I asked if my wife’s salad can be served now so that we can eat together. I waited to eat politely for my wife’s food to appear. Along with her salad came my Pasta Entree.
Now I had both my Entree and my salad to eat at the same time. I was going to ask the kitchen to keep my seafood pasta warm but thought better of it. As the waiter rushed by I asked if they had bread and was told they do not serve bread. Kind of feeling I was in a bad movie I made the best of it. The salads were very good, the Pasta which was the special Entree of the evening of which I was fortunate to have the last serving, not so much. Shrimp was extremely overcooked and obviously not prepared separately per portion. The waiter asked on several occasions how was everything but was gone mid sentence, I think he knew. We laughed after the third time. Desert was good. 18% was added as a gratuity without mention. I tipped 20% on that and hadn’t noticed until back at my hotel. I doubt that they focus on return business. I do not like to give a negative review, but this experience left a …err…bad taste in my mouth.
We had a great time! Beautiful view, friendly personnel, great food. I ordered risotto with shrimp and it was delicious! Highly recommend
Really upscale, beautiful view . The waitress were very nice and polite.
We shared a deep fried fresh whole Red Snapper and Arugula Salad. It was delicious. We would have appreciated a bread offering and were disappointed by its absence. Our Cheese Cake and Cafe Brûlée desserts were very tasty. All told we enjoyed our meal.
They closed the outdoor even when it was not raining and service would be better if they improved it.
My best friend and I decided to have brunch at Area 31 to celebrate our birthdays. The food was excellent! The waiter Rafael was very nice.
Absolutely Beautiful views from the rooftop! Worth the money!
We had to ask for a change of a plate, because the meat was burned and the waitress was not friendly.
Worst dining experience in years. Waiter was rude and arrogant. Food was worse! Stay far far away from this train wreck!
Falta de profesionalismo al servir la comida
Alejandro offered amazing service. The food and the view was absolutely stunning.
Great service!! Amazing view! Definitely need to have a reservation.
Bad hotel food. Music was nice but way too loud for a tile floor space and tables of 10. Food was mediocre.
Food was ok. Really booked this place for the view. It was our anniversary so I wanted to take my lady somewhere special. We ended up getting there and they told us outside seating was not available due to the high winds. Ok. So then I asked for a seat next to a window where we could still have a nice view. They stuck. Us in between two other couples in the middle of the room... I didn’t show it but I was not happy. I booked this place two months ago and had it in my notes that we wanted to sit outside and or have a nice view. To me this was a waste of 120 bucks. I would happily pay 120 for the view.. without the view it’s not worth it.
