No one acknowledged us for 10 min at the door and it wasn’t busy. There was a worker “ that didn’t work there that was just helping out bc his hotel in nyc was closed” that knew we were waiting but didn’t say anything or atleast one moment someone will be with you. We were served water but the drinks took a while and there were only 4 tables inside w people including us( party of 3 ). They forgot about our 2nd appetizer. I had to send my steak back twice bc it was pink when I ordered well done. The jumbo shrimp weren’t good at all. It took 45 minutes to get the appetizer and we were finally prompted for our order bc the kitchen closed in 5 minutes. It also took 20 minutes to get the check bc of computer problems. Would not go back. It was my birthday also.
View was good, better in pictures than real life. Food was just OK. Smaller portions. This place is somewhat overhyped.

Waited almost 10 minutes to even get seated when it wasn't busy at all. We went on Valentine's Day with a reservation and were essentially greeting with a "what do you want?" type of attitude from our server. No formalities, no suggestions, no knowledge of menu items or cocktails or even brands of alcohol that they carry. I've had better service at Denny's and dive bars than I received at this so-called "upscale" place. I ordered an espresso martini which took about 15 minutes to receive and when I got it, it was basically just espresso vodka water with stale coffee beans on top with an excuse from the waiter saying "there were so many tickets at the bar..." The second drink I ordered was a simple whiskey ginger ale which I surely thought you can't screw up, but they found a way to. We ordered the croquettes as an appetizer which says it should be ham, cod, and cheese- 3 different ones- but they were all exactly the same, tasteless and about the size of a thumbnail for $14... Ridiculous. My wife and I both ordered the lobster and crab Benedict which we were both excited for until we tried to cut into it. The English muffin was so hard, you damn near needed a saw to get through it and the eggs that were supposed to be poached were basically hard-boiled. The crab and lobster salad was good as well as the potatoes but the preparation of everything else kind of ruined it. After our entree came out we didn't see our server again until about 20 minutes after we were finished with EVERYTHING and ready to leave. I had to get up and get him in order to ask for our check and he gave another "I didn't want to bother you" kind of excuse which, as a server myself, is no excuse. It's your job to "bother us" if you want to give the kind of service expected for the prices that this place is charging. This place could be a gem of they had any kind of standards in place but like most places in South Florida, they just don't give a damn. Props to the supporting staff though.
My girlfriend and I had a great experience at the rooftop brunch. Beautiful views, great food, and really good live band. Really enjoyed it!
Not the first time we’ve gone. Nice restaurant. Good service. Great view. Unfortunately our steaks were slightly over cooked but the waiter was very apologetic and tried to remedy the problem. Would go again.
Everything was perfect, besides we didn’t know there is a dress code must have to dine in ! It wasn’t mentioned anywhere.
But we helped ourselves at the bar area. We are very grateful for that. It will be very helpful for other customers to mention dress code as a first priority before making the reservation.
But the whole experience was spectacular ! Thanks for all Bar Staff ! It was super busy, but they all did amazing job!

We went for brunch, a little pricey but it was worth it.

The food was great and the view was amazing. The service was a little slow but I think our waiter had an excess amount of tables he had to take care of. Overall a great experience.

The view is WoW, the food was really good and tasty but something was missing. In the beginning, I felt so uncomfortable but the manager and our server accommodate us! Probably, I will be back!
The whole fish was delicious and the Korean BBQ tacos with kimchi was surprisingly good as we never really before liked kimchi.
Service was excellent!

View is good, but it’s the same view from any tower around. We got the salmon and it was good, but the rest is hyped up. The ambiance was not the greatest. Server brought us empty plates for bread, but no bread. Chairs and tables look like lawn furniture. Restaurant needs major updating.

Of all the rooftops I have been in my life this has been the worst (after 230 5th ave 1st place) the manager is the worst, he dosnt have the minimum notion of management, We went for a Thursday's tapas ads but they had NOTHING so we decided to only drink cocktail because they didn't have tapas or appetizers, Then the manager sent us to say that we couldn't be at the table if we didn't order dinner because the tapas are only in the bar area but they would make that day an EXCEPTION, I said Its not necesary because I rather the bar , but the answer was Its not possible because the bar is closed. I want to highlight that in the whole place there were only 3 occupied tables. the manager instead of being grateful, preferred to be useless and rude... only good thing was the view, the waiter was good ...the cocktails are regular. The situation was terrible!!!
Our waiter was very eccentric and hyperactive. He was talking very fast as if he was on cocaine and we couldn’t really understand most of it. My date asked for a glass of wine, he didn’t ask what I wanted and walked away quickly, came back with a bottle of wine and was preparing to pour it for both of us. It was awkward because we had to stop him and tell him she only wanted a glass, and then reminded him to take my drink order (I wanted a mixed drink). It was a good thing I got along very well with my date because it could have been very awkward if it was someone else. It seemed he wanted to sell us the bottle possibly to increase his tip, but it was rude because he didn’t even ask if we wanted a bottle. This restaurant has the best view in Miami so I will definitely be back. The food was good too and the prices are reasonable.

When it comes to Valet parking & stamping your ticket the hostess & the server should be admit to let you kno because once you pay valet without the stamp you can’t get a refund once you pay then try to go back and get a valet stamp. It’s Impossible, the valet will make a big about it. It’s pure robbery!

I had the worst experience at this place. the service was terrible we saw our server once and then he disappear. we waited for the food for a long time. no one was able to help. food was ok.
I wouldn't go back to this place at all.
We were waiting there for 40m and nobody took care of us. Had to leave to another place to eat.

Worst new year eve experience ever! We reserved the new year eve package that costs $250 per person. Our reservation was at 9pm, we arrived at 8:45 but we didn’t get seated until 10:30 even though the seats have been ready for quite a while. Other guests have also been waiting for at least 30min. The entrance was crowded with people waiting with no social distancing and many ppl have no mask which is proper considering the price we pay for this meal. Definitely will not come back and will not recommend this place.
Great location and food! Service sub optimal with poor service reactions and late wine pairings with courses.
Not sure if there was a perfect storm for them on New Years Eve. My husband and I was looking forward to the 5 course special for New Years Eve. It was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The wait staff was unorganized. I had to request bread for the table. Food was delivered to the wrong table twice. Waiters did not refill drinks due to lack of attendance. The food runners would drop food off of plates as they were being delivered . The most downfall was that the food took forever to come out and when it did finally arrive it was lukewarm. Not to mention tasteless. The service received was not worth the $150 per person. If it wasn't for the city view we would of left. My waiter would not have received a tip but since it was already included on the tab he got lucky. A waste of time...... I do not recommend!!!
The service was ATROCIOUS.
Service was awful, we had a reservation for 5 and the got us in atable for four and add a chair, table was too small for the 5 of us. On top of that we wew waiting for about 1/2 before they even offer us something to drink, we had to wait over an hour for the food after ordering and when they finally serve it, it was cold and tasteless. Also it was espensive. Food and service definetily doesn’t worth what they charge. Never will go again

Area 31 has a privileged location in downtown Miami. The views from here are second to none in Miami. Food and service could be improved so it can be a hit all the way around. I know with focus and taking pride in the details this restaurant could be the Best in Miami!

AMAZING. I cannot get over how absolutely WONDERFUL the service was!! The food was also amazing but W O W the staff made our night with how friendly they were!
The food and view were amazing! The waiter made us feel a little uncomfortable as he wore his mask under his nose, when it wasn’t under his chin. Never did he wear it properly.
