Limited menu, food was bland
Birthday dinner....was a bit cold sitting near window
Incredible experience. The service was flawless, well informed and friendly. Food was so delicious highly recommend!!!
Lovely service. Our server knew every dish and every bottle. His enthusiasm for the menu was genuine. We thought the food was just ok -- the plating is gorgeous tho!
Food was mediocre and kind of cold. My first glass of wine I received was majorly watered down. Had to ask a few times for bread. Venue is lovely but service and food weren’t the quality I expected.
Poor food and we ordered three different things. Fries were soggy, pizza was miserable and pasta was below average. The wine was tasty. The restaurant was v quite with little atmosphere
This was my fourth time visiting Archeo and certainly won’t be my last.
Each time is equisite and perfect. It’s a quiet restaraunt and the food is always perfect. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for date night or small celebrations.
Went for Winterlicious on a Sunday so it was quiet with not many customers. Staff was friend and professional. Appetizers came quickly but mains came a little slower but no big deal as we were not in a rush and server kept us informed. Food was delicious although I found the portions on the small side (seems to be the way restaurants are going with Winterlicious). Will go back for sure.
We were there for the Winterliscious and we chose this restaurant because we liked the menu and the location of the restaurant. It was a wonderful evening that we truly enjoyed.
The food was very good. We appreciated the fact that it wasn't too loud. The food and service was very good. We look forward to planning another evening there soon.
It was also a bonus that there was a light show and exhibit that evening, so it made it very special.
Came here during Winterlicious - the menu was superb! Although I did not know what a lot of the menu items were, all of my choices wer just delicious. Our waiter was very helpful, and attentive - our water glasses were never empty!
Dessert selection was not good, everything else was good
The service is excellent!
the service was fast. it was a good value winterlicious menu. The foods were fresh and warm.
Went here with my daughter on a Friday at 6:00pm before a Soulpepper production. Was not very busy! Service was friendly, interactive and efficient. I had a pasta dish that was cooked correctly but cool. My daughter had a flat bread pizza which she enjoyed. Antipasta dish was interesting and tasty with a nice cab franc. Portions were smallish and just good. Thought a bit overpriced for the quality of meal. Great location in the Distillery District.
Good food, 2/3 portion sizes.
It was very enjoyable. Met friends for dinner. Pleasant atmosphere, food was different and tasty. Went during Toronto Christmas market - very handy for a walk afterward.
Archeo is hands down the best food in Toronto
My reservation was for 7. You could have thought it was 10:30, because the place was nearly empty. Really the only thing lacking from this dinner was the ambiance. Myself and my two friends had the outdoor courtyard to ourself once two nearby tables finished up by 7:30/8. Food was delicious, service was wonderful.
Limited menu. Very quiet: not busy. Patio ok. Service good. Pricing average.
Great service and they have a beautiful patio. There is a limited menu, the food was ok but really enjoyed the quiet patio in Distillery. A hidden gem!
I can't wait to go back. Lovely little restaurant in the heart of the Distillery District, uses only ingredients sources within a 100 mile radius! Their garden salad was incredible, tossed in a Niagara verjus dressing. I would go back just for that. Beautiful decor too, and charming patio. I was there with friends visiting from abroad so I loved that it was all such local ingredients. The portions were a bit small, next time I would order a starter in addition. Also it was completely dead on a Monday night so the ambiance was lacking but it was a Monday after all!
Staff seemed nice enough but food was terrible and ambiance not great. When I asked the waiter for a recommendation on what was great on the menu, he answered that this was a restaurant that specialized in weddings so it was all mostly wedding food. When the food came it was very poor all around.
A big disappointment and I would not recommend this restaurant.
If you are in the mood for specialty flatbread pizza and like industrial chic hip decor check this place out. They said they arent usually open except for weddings so the other really good option in distillery district is Cluny the french place- it would be my top pick over archeo as archeo likely wont have many people/be dead atmosphere since you cant count on it being open. Cluny is so attractive. Gorgeous and great vibe.
very enjoyable great food and superb service and will certainly come again when next in Toronto.
We had dinner for four on the patio. Great evening out, fantastic service, not rushed at all as we took our time. The menu is limited but the food was very good. Wine and drinks well priced and nice selection.
Our guest service was very accommodating. He got our group a quiet area. Summerlicious lunch was great too. Highly recommend it.
Overall meal was great, we're big fans of charcuterie boards so the anti pasto hit the spot.
We went for summerlicious and ordered each of the piadini's. Mine was with pesto, which was good. Hers was with trout, she wasnt a fan. According to her, it tasted like bread with mayo spread and raw fish on top.
Other than the main courses, the meal was great. The place was very quiet for a Friday afternoon, probably due to summerlicious ending. Regardless the ambiance was chill with oldies music.
Me and my mom went for the summerlicious event.
Everything was right on point! Def will recommend to my friends and family.
We were celebrating our 2nd anniversary, as we got married at Archeo. We had a nice evening, and were spoiled with a glass of sparkling wine.
great attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our dinner experience enjoyable.
There was an amazing ambience if you're looking for a night out or even just a more high-class dinner with your family. Definitely somewhere to go back to for celebrating special occasions.
One stop on our "Summerlicious" tour of Toronto. Wait staff preparing bread with unwashed hands was a real turnoff but our appetizers, one entree and one dessert were very good. Too many restaurants left to try in Toronto to return.
It was summerlicious menu: Absolutely delicious authentic Italian cuisine and great wine
Very nice location and staff kindly. It's awesome!
We went there on cold & raining Sunday night. It was very quiet with only 4 tables. The decoration and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed a lot with our friends.
The menu was small but we have enough selection on the main course which have meat, fish & vegetarian dishes. We loves the hanger beef. We even had encored on it. The meat was so tender & juicy.
It seems like there was only 1 waiter, but he was very friendly and attentive.
We will go back again
Entree: Food took excessive time and arrived cold and undercooked. Roasted Potatoes had a crunch steak was blue when I had asked for medium Had to walk the plate to the bar to get someone's attention.
Appetizers: Only chef I have seen who serves beet salad raw. I guess cooking takes to long
Waitress had no interest in our table
Had to ask for a clean fork and they brought me another dirty one. I did get a clean one eventually but they left the dirty one on the table. I think the person who used it before me had some sort of berries in their desert
We were pleased that we found Restaurant open for dinner. Food was really delicious and service was great. We were sad that they no longer have their Caesar Salad, but their new salad was wonderful. Their delicious pizza is no longer on the menu either, but they have a yummy sort of flat bread. Looking forward to a return visit. Thanks
Overall our experience was fine, but when we first arrived the staff seemed quite frantic and it took ages for our waitress to even come for drink orders. The atmosphere was quite chaotic, which was a bit off-putting. But once our drinks order was placed service improved considerably.
Overall it was a nice experience. Our server was friendly and diligent. Great location, good ambience.
The food itself was alright. Unfortunately somewhat forgettable, and not quite worth what I paid.
Everything else was great.
way too salty! no clear Communications on the food content. just wrong place for money, time and health to be spent.
