We split the fried chicken for two, there was enough for 4! Wonderful foie gras!

We’ve always received good food, drinks & service. No parking in Marriott & bad traffic every time we go may make me hesitate next time. Bathrooms (might be shared with the bar) were nasty

We did not get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation. The restaurant was empty.

They do not have a cocktail server in the restaurant bar area.

We were disappointed in our experience tonight.
The last time we were here, everything was awesome.
This time, however, the $65 steak was tough. Cooked right (medium rare) but still had the firmness of a salami or something.
The service was a little slow. Our 6pm reservation ended up making us late for our 7:30pm show across the street.

I was a little disappointed in our experience with Arcadia. I booked this place to celebrate my husbands birthday! We got to the restaurant and were seated right away which was really good. The place was super smokey and LOUD, they have an open kitchen which is a big part of it. Our waiter though, he was nice did not mention any specials which I wouldn’t have known had I not overheard it explained by a different waiter next to our table. The food was on the pricey side but tasted good. This place is very loud it’s hard to have a conversation. Definitely not good for datenight. On the plus side our waiter always checked on us throughout dinner. Overall - OK place for dinner, but nothing special!

Somewhat disappointed this time. We have been to Arcadia several times for Breakfast on Sunday morning before going to Broadway San Jose. My wife normally loves the lobster omelet which is usually loaded with lobster, however, this time she had a hard time finding the lobster. I usually get a Belgian waffle without the fruit, etc.. and a side of eggs and sausage. This time the waffle was cold with no butter on it and overcooked so I had to cut it with a knife. I had coffee and she had a Mimosa. All in all for the $75.00 bill it was disappointing. We will probably not go there for breakfast again.

We always love Arcadia for great steaks and other delicious dishes. But we were disappointed that they took the Bone Marrow (Michal Mina Specialty) off the menu. It was one of the reasons I like Arcadia, for that dish. However, the steaks were delicious as always, dry aged bone in New York. Beet salad was exceptional. Ahi Tuna was nice. Mushrooms were great. What is there not to love about Arcadia, well, that they took the Bone Marrow off the menu.

Went to Arcadia to celebrate a birthday and had one of the best food experience we've had in a long time. The service was great but what was most impressive was the food. Chef Paul Rohadfox blew us away with his dishes. One item that's a must try is the black sesame creme brulee. Would definitely come back for great steaks (cooked perfectly to our requested temp) as well as to try new dishes.

Food is good. My husband loves the lobster potpie and that is the reason we go. I am a vegetarian and they do not have vegetarian options on the online menu but if you ask the waiter they always have a veggie pasta. Music they play is usually not my type of music and a little bit loud, in my opinion.

I've eaten and entertained at Arcadia many times over the years and their service and food quality has been progressively getting worse. On this most recent occasion, it was my daughter's birthday and I have to say it was an awful experience at Arcadia. Our service was slow and often remiss - several tables were complaining. We waited 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation and they were not full. Then we waited another 22 minutes for our waiter to show up to take drink orders and give us menus. He never asked us again through the night if we wanted to order any other drinks. The other staff did not clear plates on time, or refill water glasses. Our side dishes were cold and one steak was not done to order. Overall we were there for at least 3 hours - so disappointed with how this experience ruined our daughter's birthday dinner.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Arcadia. The food was delicious! The complimentary appetizer was VERY interesting. We each had the filet mignon which was very tender, we split the BLT wedge, shared the mashed potatoes and the deconstructed carrot cake and salted caramel ice cream.

The menus that are online are outdated so I was a little disappointed to not be able to order some of the things I saw there (I think it was the Yelp menu). These guys have a good mid-range steak, i.e. no Wagyu or F1s but they have good basic cuts and they cooked it true to what I ordered (always rare+). The sides were not great, but pretty good if slightly overpriced.

From beginning to end we were treated as if we were royalty and the only couple in the restaurant. And the most extraordinary part of it all, I am a vegan and my husband will eat anything, this is noted in my OpenTable profile, so Chef Paul knew my challenge coming into his steakhouse being a vegan and never let me feel anything but special. Course for course he had something superb and divine for me to go along with my husband's carnivore version. A really beautiful touch that speaks miles of Chef Paul's commitment to hospitality in addition to incredible food.....the server knew, before me ever having to say a word, what my dietary needs were and to communicate Chef Paul's need for me not to worry, he was prepared and had something very special in mind for me.

The flavor of the food is very good but every course was cold. The soup was cold, the seared foie gras was cold and the scallops were cold. I asked the rest of the group and they did say the food was certainly not hot, at best it was luke warm.

We have dined a few times here. Food was good, especially the desserts. They were inspired. The rest was solid and tasty. Seared scallops would have been better if seared on both sides. Lobster mac and cheese had a nice flavor although I didn't find chunks of lobster. Service was attentive although the fries they start out with didn't come until the salads. I'd say they were maybe understaffed compared to usual. Overall very pleased with our meal. I would say they do good drinks. Limited wine bottles available in the $50-$90 range that we often choose when going out unless a really special occasion.

The service is very good and attentive. The food is tasty and unique. The ambiance is nice. However many of the patrons wearing outfit that looks like going to the beach, rather to an elegant restaurant. Baseball hats galore. Maybe stricter dress code ? Good luck!
Some of the new pictures on the wall, very disturbing and plan ugly to promote a relaxing or pleasurable " eye "experience. Modern art at its worst.
We still will return for the cuisine and will dress nicely for the occasion.

Food was very underwhelming. They messed up 3/5 orders. They forgot water-no ice and half the table got ice. The burgers were well done in most cases when they asked for medium rare.

Servers messed up a burger order and did not offer to comp anything

The services was ok, unfortunately the meal was not. The steak was cooked correctly but completely lacked any flavor, under seasoned and didn't taste like a Snake River Farms steak of which I've had many and the main reason I ordered it at all.
We also ordered the Short Rib, cooked correctly very tender and the plating was beautiful but again completely lacked any flavor at all it was extremely bland as if something you'd serve in a hospital. Unless Michael Mina plans to do some QA at this restaurant he should take his name off. We informed our server how unhappy we were with our meals after our first couple bites and his reply was would you like me to box those up for you! Sad part is we live and work downtown near the restaurant with no plans on returning, but do plan on sharing our experience with neighbors and colleagues.
We were fortunate there was a vendor selling bacon wrapped hot dogs outside for $5 and we enjoyed those a 100 times more than our $200 meals at Arcadia.

The food is good, service was lack luster for dinner, a little better for breakfast. This place is crazy overpriced. I'd suggest amazing service and outstanding dishes for the price, which was not the case. I would definitely not pay for this with my own money. The mark up on and 8 oz filet is 5 times what I would pay to just make it at home and the quality no different. The dishes look beautiful and taste good. They just charge too much. Good wine selection, again with a tremendous mark up. The ambience is nothing amazing. It can be relaxing if you're not by the kitchen and if it's not crowded.

Wonderful experience dining alone. Had the Filet Mignon and side of Grilled Asparagus. Entrees come without any sides (you must order separately). Filet was cooked to my liking as well as the vegetable. The restaurant offers complimentary French Fry tasting. Three different flavored fries with three different tasting sauces. This is served in lieu of bread at the beginning of the meal. I originally ordered a baked potato, but changed to asparagus due to the French fry tasting. Had a nice glass of Ganache/Syrah blend red wine to compliment my meal. Service was excellent and very accommodating for my table of one!

We've eaten at Arcadia many times over the years and it's one of our favorites. The previous two times, the food in general came across as too salty. Not this time. Everything was perfectly seasoned. My wife thought the lobster pot pie was amazing. I usually get a steak. Great meat, cooked just right and not too salty this time.

I 'hosted' this get together. I live downtown. The gal at the desk was not at the desk when I arrived. She had to check my name and didn't tell me that my guests had arrived. She should have shown me to my guests. Instead she took care of people who had come after me. She didn't show me to the young man who accompanied us to our table. Although our waiters were delightful, and the food was everything I expected, I was disappointed in the 'overall' service, insomuch as when the oysters were served, they leave a certain amount of 'ice/water' behind. I had to request the waiter to clean it up, because he didn't and he brought more food. All in all, I and my guests enjoyed ourselves, as we had much to catch up on.

The service was great, but overall I was unimpressed. I possibly had too high of expectations but everything other than the free fries they brought out ahead of time and cheese plate was very bland and over priced considering the taste. I was expecting to spend a lot of money here to celebrate a special occasion, which I had no problem doing, however we did spend a lot and I don't feel like this restaurant lives up to the "Michael Mina" hype.

We love Arcadia and think it's one of the best steak houses in the south Bay, certainly San Jose. The beef bone marrow is one of my favorites and a Michael Mina signature dish. The 14 oz ribeye and 8oz fillet mignon were great. The oysters were very good, too. The creamed spinach with bacon was pretty good. And the molten chocolate cake with ice cream on the side finished off a great meal. The prices are typical for this quality restaurant. And the bar next door, TanQ is great stopping point before the dinner.
