Will never go back. Steak looked like charcoal, Waiter
apologized and I felt badly for him but overall myself and friends agreed it was overall a huge disappointment

Arcadia is a high end restaurant with a limited menu. We have eaten there numerous times, the food has varied from very good to excellent. This time the food was disappointing, especially given the cost. My wife had the scallops (4 reasonably sized pieces) which were distinctly not remarkable. I had the short ribs, which was good. For both dishes, the accompanying vegetables were quite unremarkable.
The service was quite good.

Hadn't been to Arcadia in a couple of years, so had a pre-opera meal on a Saturday night. Missed the tablecloths greatly. This is a steakhouse Michael Mina style set in the downtown Marriott Hotel. We skipped the steaks but enjoyed our salads (caesar and iceberg blt), chicken with truffle mac and cheese and the fish special (sea bass). Duck fat fries with three dipping sauces are served instead of bread. Portions are enormous. Somehow, we had a bit of room for some of the ice creams. The wine list is heavy on reds; we chose an Alsatian riesling which turned out not be in stock and was replaced with a comparable wine. A little expensive but worth the splurge if you don't dine there every day.

Definitely a disappointment..The service was slow and when I asked about the possibility of bread or crackers to go with my salad I was told we don't have/serve bread. Hmmmm

Went for brunch before a Sunday matinee. They quit serving breakfast foods at 11:00 so our only choices were from the lunch menu which was pretty limited. We started with "Lobster Corn Dogs" which were very mushy and resembled baby food in a corn meal wrapper and tasted just as bland. My guest had the crab cake sandwich; also very mushy and unremarkable. I had the chicken clubhouse; chicken seemed microwaved, avocado spread was extremely sparse and the overall sandwich was dry and underwhelming. Neither of us finished even half of our sandwiches. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, drinks took more time than they should have and service was spotty. It was a basic hotel diner, nothing special.

We used to love this restaurant. We even had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here almost a decade ago. We came after a SJ Sharks game this weekend and had really terrible service - water not refilled, no check ins to see if we wanted to order another drink, slow, inattentive service. Apps and entrees came out at the same time.

The food was delicious, but we did have upset stomachs after...

We probably won't return. It's too bad, because this restaurant held a special place in our hearts!!

First time here, wish the hostess would have explained the options for seating a little better. Had a table/booth but a booth would have been preferred if we had known where they were. There was one available. Our salad was very late in being served so the server didn't charge us. A nice touch is the complimentary french fry tasting appetizer. The food was wonderful. Will try this restaurant again. My husband said his filet mignon was like "butter".

We had visited Arcadia when it first opened and were unimpressed for a Michael Mina restaurant. We decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was this time around. The strip steak in particular was better than most high end steak places we have visited lately - tender and cooked perfectly. Ruben also gave us excellent and professional service. Need to keep this place in mind from now on.

We went here for New Years Eve dinner and they had a pre-fixed menu for $135 per person. The service was terrible. It took us 45 minutes to receive our entree. They waiter did apologize and comped one round of drinks but after spending $400 on a dinner for two adults and two children we left hungry. For a pre-fixed menu at $135 per person we should have left full and satisfied. We left feeling hungry and taken advantage of. We could have spent $400 at Mortons and actually received $400 worth of food.

My girlfriend and I had an unbelievable steak dinner here. They price up their wine pretty intensely, but that’s par for the course for most steakhouses. I’d recommend everything we tried. Ahi tuna tartare for a starter; the New York strip and the short rib for entrees; the wild mushrooms and the Brussels sprouts for sides; and the whites chocolate bread pudding for dessert. What an amazing meal.

It was a very slow night so for us it was great. We needed to make a show so we needed fast service. The food was exceptional except that I'm a vegan & there weren't even any vegetarian choices so I ordered a salad and two side dishes which were prepared wonderfully & put on one big plate which was nice instead of two small plates. My husband had the beef ribs and you could just see the beef pull apart, he loved it. Great food, but not inexpensive.

We first had the cheese charcuterie board, a really nice tasty spread . Two in our party had the
filet mignon that was very tender and cooked to perfection. One had the eye of rib eye, very very tasty. This is definitely a to-go place!

The restaurant wasn’t full, so why did our meat and potatoes arrive before the broccolini? And why ask us what wine we want with dinner right before the dinner arrives? Our Steaks got cold waiting for the wine. Totally not thoughtful, just meh. Are you sure that Michael Mina still owns this restaurant ? Hard to believe he would let anyone serve these dishes.

Arrived 4 minutes before our reservation time and were told that we would need to wait and we would be seated when our time arrived. Then proceeded to sit for 20 minutes . .. walk-ins turned away, but 50% of tables unoccupied. We ordered only from the appetizer menu. Soup was good if a little small on volume, Caesar Salad was good but not spectacular. Side of shrimp was rather plain.
No bread to start off, which is one way I like to judge a place...how good is that opening feeler? French fries instead with three sauces, all rather standard fare. The kicker. .. the fries arrived after we were served. 2nd drink (had to do something to drown my disappointment) was forgotten it seems for a while. Luckily, the check arrived quickly as we had theater tickets. We never saw a dessert menu.
All in all, a disappointment.

An upmarket steakhouse that doesn't get pretentious. It's good ingredients, simply and skillfully prepared. We tried three different cuts, the Ribeye, the Filet Mignon and the Skirt, all at medium rare. All three were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, the spices and sauces either enhancing the natural flavor of the meat, or complimentary to it to add interest. Sides were take with the same approach, blending flavors to create a subtle but satisfying blend.

Service was top notch, our glasses were never empty and the waiter showed a good grasp of wjat actually paired well, instead of simply reccommending the most expensive things on the menu.

Atmosphere was tasteful and understated, leaving you feeling welcomed but completely free to focus on your group and food. Their alcohol selection is well curated and has a good amount of options without leaving one feeling overwhelmed.

If you have a show to go to afterwards make sure to set your reservation for a couple hours before. This should not be a rushed meal. If you get there right at the start of dinner service you might be able to walk in. any later and your best bet is a reservation.

overall a fantastic experience and well worth the money!

There were 4 of us and we were all very disappointed with our visit to Arcadia for lunch. The lobster corn dogs were highly anticipated and they were the first downfall , the mushroom bisque failed as well. The Ahi tuna tartar was bland. The market and Cesar salad with prawns and chicken added did nothing to inspire our tastes. This lunch menu needs a lot of work. Michael Mina has truly missed his mark at this spot.

Unfortunately- this is the second time that this restaurant that has the Michael Mina name fell short because of their service. I had a reservation for 7:30 - seated at 8:00 with seven open tables. They told us they had bigger parties and couldn’t seat us. I asked not enough servers and she said yes. The tables didn’t fill and our server ignored us until we asked for a manager. The food was awesome; but I’m sure Michael Mina wouldn’t approve. I frequent many of his other restaurants. Won’t return to this location.

We ate dinner here before attending a concert downtown. We had reservations right when they opened at 5:30, so we didn’t have a wait. I thought the ambiance was great for dinner.., dark & cozy, but plenty of light to eat & read the menu. I ordered a Grey Goose martini pre-dinner and it was perfection. I was very pleased. The wedge salads were great. I honestly would have preferred a good bread basket over the complimentary duck fat fries. I thought they were “meh” & the dipping sauces that accompany them were terrible. The prices have increased on the steaks since our last time here. My eye of rib-eye was delicious and cooked medium rare as requested. Could have been seasoned a little with some salt & pepper, but I enjoyed both the cut & quality of the meat. Also had the brussel sprouts & salt baked potato (good, but no better than your average home cook could prepare at home). I come here for a good salad & steak. The sides are nothing special. The service was great. Meal & tip for two for dinner with only 1 mixed cocktail was $200 ($170 plus $30 tip)

We went for my husbands significant decade birthday the restaurant wasn't busy yet there was a wait if you didn't have reservations which having a reservation I appreciated. I'm guessing they were managing the staff they had well to insure everyone had a good experience. The food was excellent! The Ribeye, Shortribs and Lobster Mac and Cheese were outstanding. So glad they brought the Lobster Corn Dog back! My only disappointment, they did nothing to celebrate his Birthday even though we said it when we sat down and I put it in the reservation. Just a nice touch when they acknowledge a special occasion.
