Love it! So glad we went while in town!
A reservation means nothing at this place, food was just ok definately nothing special. Would not go back
The food was amazing! The sweet potatoe pancakes were out of this world, but it did taking me almost 45 minutes to get my meal and I was by myself.
Great food great history, sat in the ELVIS booth. Perfect.
Really not worth the trip. Food was so substandard it's not even worth mentioning. Put a little more effort in
Food was good just took kind of long to get my pizza. they forgot to put the chicken on the pizza so had to wait even longer and they she kinda forgot about it. So overall good not the beat i ever had but the strawberry cake was the bomb!
Love the sweet potato pancakes. Very friendly and efficient service.
This is a true Memphis experience.
We got there early and they seated us despite it being very busy. The French Toast "Arcade Style" was amazing - deep fried toast with a fantastic pecan tasty syrup. My son said it was the best burger that he's ever had! Enjoyed seeing all the history there and very glad we went to the oldest diner in Memphis.
We went there before our tour of the King’s home Graceland and even was able to eat in his booth 😁 the service was awesome the staff was so friendly and the food was amazing! Would absolutely recommend stopping and grabbing a bite in this iconic diner.
This is a must if you are in Memphis..we sat in the Elvis booth and had a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast...awesome food and history here...highly recommend you stop here and eat!!!
The food and atmosphere were excellent-- probably the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. However, I was a little disappointed when our waitress didn't come back at all after delivering our food to refill our drinks or ask how everything was tasting. This is just a minor complaint, but it was frustrating to look over and see her on her phone instead. Overall though, it was excellent and I will definitely be back!!
Excellent considering remodeling going on with restrooms outside. Restroom had no water.
Ask for Lucy to be your server. She’s amazing and has great taste in music. If you love retro diners, this is your place. Super cute and fun.
Went there to try their fried peanut butter banana sandwich buy was horrible. For $9 I could have gotten a decent food somewhere else.
Took a group here the night before our big Christmas gathering and it was a good choice.
Memphis original, simple foods, dated restaurant, but a good time.
Would go again!
GREAT PLACE. SWEET POTATO PANCAKES WERE GREAT.
EGGS AND GRITS NOT SO GOOD.
OUT OF BANANAS SO COULD NOT GET FRIED PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SANDWICH
Great historic restaurant! Great for brunch. Will go back when in Memphis.
Great food and a great experience. We sat where Rlvis sat!
Nice authentic American diner - someone told us that it was Elvis' favourite place. Could do with a good dusting tho.... 😂 All in all well worth a visit!! 🌟 🌟 🌟
We arrived at the Arcade for the full Elvis experience as we were in town to tour Graceland
Was really looking forward to this to complete our girlfriends trip to Memphis. After visiting Graceland that morning we came here to have the famous peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches. Very disappointing I'm afraid. Order took forever to get to us, sandwiches were cold, and they forgot to put on the bacon! The waitress gave us an order of bacon after we told them of the error. Sandwich seemed to be pressed and more well done, also we thought the bananas would be smashed into the peanut butter, they were just sliced however. The potato salad was the best part of meal. We sat in Elvis's booth, so that was fun.
Fun atmosphere. Good food. Loud at the bar area. Neat local spot.
we had a wonderful experience! took a friend there for her birthday. got to meet the 4th generation owner who shared some history. our waitress was delightful. food was very good. breakfast is served all hours. an iconic, fun place to go for a real taste of Memphis history.
The Arcade Restaurant is infamous in Memphis, that is why we went, will still go and will recommend. However, the day we went, we waited at least an hour (no exaggeration) for our food. I felt our waitress could have visited us more to inform us of the situation instead of us asking for her to question about the long wait on just a small stack of pancakes. Others were getting their food before us even though they were seated after us. The manager was nice enough to give us a small discount for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, not the best for our first time there.
Slight renovation improvements may be needed. Food was tasty, but service was a tad slow.
Loved the sweet potato pancakes! Friendly service. Can see why Elvis liked it!
I had reservations but it didn't matter. They didn't have my info.
This was my first time to visit. The food was good. We had reservations so we didn't have to wait long at all. It is a fun place to grab a bite to eat downtown. Love the history of the restaurant.
We had reservations and were seated right away. The service was quick and the food was good. The atmosphere was fantastic.
Lots of good food! We had breakfast there the breakfast ham was superb. We were in Memphis on vacation and had seen the Arcade on tv.
Our waitress was fantastic! She humored the chaos of this Elvis fan. Food was great, and lots of it!
We had a fun experience! Food was great, our service was perfect! Really enjoyed the memphis memorabilia.
Great food! Reminds me of an authentic old diner. Make a reservation when you go!
Mother’s Day. It was great. Took our kids there for the first time. Food was great. Service was great. Kitchen backed up but we expected that. Our table was ready when we got there.
This place is full of history. My friend and I went during Memphis in May for brunch on a Saturday. The French toast was amazing and it’s a lot of food. One of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had! I recommend a reservation, it was pretty crowded. Everything looked awesome and we happened to get the Elvis booth.
Our food came out cold, but after waiting for so long to get it in the first place, we choked it down. Service was very slow and unattentive
We made reservations for Easter Sunday lunch. After receiving multiple email confirmations and reminders, we arrived at the restaurant to find that it was closed for the holiday. Reading other reviews on this site, it seems like this is not the first time the restaurant has accepted reservations on a date that it is closed. Very disappointing!
The best sweet potato pancakes - loved them. Plus the history there makes the well worn decor charming.
Everyone was very friendly, and the food was great.
